I know I can not make something extraordinary but I wanted to try my own MOC but here is my dilemma. I keep all sets apart in…

I just want to let you know that the 48x48 baseplate is 2.25 times the size of the 32x32s, 48x48=2304 studs 32x32=1024 studs 2304/1024=2.25 You would think that the larger baseplate would be a better deal than the smaller one. It's also unfortunate that you can't buy at retail all the available colours.

Thanks again all... the number of emails I have gotten has been amazing! And thanks to the very patient Bricklink buyers! @tk79 No it's not the Ann Arbor Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor 50 miles west of Detroit (close though!)... but Detroit's own Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory (donated by the USA Scripps…

@BrickDancer I did use the iphone app. I had the picture I wanted then I cropped it so that it was a reasonable size for the app. When I converted it to the LEGO pic and was happy with it I transferred it to my computer. Then I cropped the image again so that it fit a 32x32 plate. I did have to extend a stud or 2 on each…
