I can't find the big yellow rocket engines for #6954 Renegade...
-
@dvaupel - Here's verification that the #6954 Renegade also came with black/trans-yellow hoses. This is a photo of a 6954 with sealed bags that I bought secondhand. The hoses are in the center bag. The set came with a 1987 U.S. catalog (BL# c87us) and had "Hills" (defunct regional U.S. department store) price tags on its…

I'd like to see #6954 Renegade modernized like #928/#497, but I don't think it would be any cooler... just newer. IIRC, I bought mine from the Kmart a block from my grandparents' house in May of 1987, using either birthday or graduation money.

Hey all. You might remember way back to this fun topic: http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/11951/creating-a-best-of-harry-potter-collection/p1 I've decided to piece together what I can before the year is out, so here is what I have to trade. I'll accept cash offers, but I'd really like to trade. All are new in box,…

This is classic story of my son hitting 5 and going to pull out my old childhood legos and finding out they are worth a decent amount. I am not a collector just a user so for me these would be for my son and I's enjoyment. I would far rather sell these to a collector and go buy 5 times as many other legos for us to enjoy.…

Nice find! I’m not even a huge classic space guy, but I had as a kid (& thankfully still have) #6954 & #6941. The ‘modular’ technic pin bricks was awesome as a play feature at the time. And these actually are nice display models even now I think.

My sentimental favourite is the Blacktron Renegade #6954. It was the first Lego I bought with my own money way back in 1987. The Renegade was pretty badass for its time - all black, including black-clad astronauts with black visors, and a strange asymmetrical design. I loved the hell out of that thing. I kept it on my…

This is a large lot of classic LEGO sets from the late 1980's and the very early 1990's. I bought this collection from a single owner, and have only partially sorted it. Some LEGO I have cleaned some I haven't. When I bought them, the sets were mostly all still put together, and as I sorted through some of them to match…

172 today. 29,975th. Tagged the most interesting sets I can think of. Some vintage ones I’ve picked up used to add to the collection. That excludes my wife’s friends sets though (I let her keep her own brickset) but does include a couple friends sets I’ve bought for myself which made it into her display. Of the 172 that…
