@TheMaker37 You do have part of a #4559 9v train in there at least. The yellow train base only came in that set. http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=4559-1#T=I

Lego Status: Just finished reconstructing #4559 from a bulk lot of 50 lbs. Now officially addicted to 9v trains 5 years to late.

I am building a #4559 Cargo Railway that was part of recent fairly large garage sale find. It took some time to find all the pieces, but i enjoyed every minute of it.

You should be able to get a good used motor from Ebay for about $35.00. If you are patient and wait until summer comes along it can be had for less. You can also sell your broken motor believe it or not. Many of the Lego 9V trains don't need the center pin to operate correctly, such as the 4563, 4559, etc.

^ I have all of the 9V and all of the PF trains and 4560/4561 is the worst. I'd add that the 4559 is a close second to the bottom but I love the color scheme. Think the Steelers and you'll understand. If you go into the 4.5V and 12V trains, there is a lot to argue about there especially with some of the push trains that…

I don't even see trains as a product category on Lego.com. I'm surprised Lego doesn't have more train related sets like they used to. Are they missing another opportunity or have trains gone the way of the western and kids aren't interested in them anymore? I have set 4559 set up right now. I'm building a "town" right now…

All I basically have is set #4559. It's pretty much all I can fit on the table so it suits my needs. It was the first LEGO train I ever bought but the one I have now is not the original one, which I had sold. I'm going to elevate the track on BURPS and DUPLO. I'm interested in power functions so that might be another…

Without including train track sections for obvious reasons I would say I own 32 of set 7566 because they were cheap when they went eol. But for actual large sets I own 8 or maybe 9 4559's just because I like the color scheme and it doesn't flip off the track at full speed like other 9v trains tend to do. Really it's not…
