I have been designing some MOC's with LDD, and have developed a modular Victorian style townhouse. I really like how it looks and its play and display ability. I entered it into the Lego Ideas program, and would appreciate any votes, if you like it too. Thank you for your support! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/67556

  • Hi, I wanted to share my train station moc. I put this together over the last few months and am really happy with how it turned out. I just started building, using parts I had on hand, and then ended up having to BrickLink the rest to finish it off.…
  • For me, it took going semi retired to have time to devote to my own mocs. I was just building the sets I got, up till then, mostly. I started out first using LDD to get inspired, and that was a fairly good way to relearn all the different parts that…
  • Actually having a beer and found another seller to get the parts that have been holding me up for 2 weeks for nothing...LOL,...so hopefully get them some time next week..but then again...who knows! LOL
  • It took me 2 afternoons, so about 5 hours.
  • Maybe they did see this, who knows. I see the refund now, for $1.04. Why do people get into this if they don't have what it takes to do it right?
  • OK, just as I was typing the above, I guess they responded. They refunded me for the missing parts...I told them thanks, and I would take my business elsewhere in the future. Live and learn...
  • Thanks for the responses. I really do try to see things from both sides, and be fair. So far, I have never given anything but a positive to anyone. A couple I have just not left any, because I couldn't be sure why things went the way that they did. …
  • I have been noticing on the part lists for a lot of the sets I am looking for, some parts will appear more than once, making it pretty confusing. I don't recall seeing that problem until recently. There are problems with how many sets a particular p…
  • I just finished my rebrick of the Train Shed #10027. Took a while to gather all the parts I didn't have on hand. I like it a lot, its a great old set.
  • I started to just pour them in a container, kind of like a loose change bowl of Lego. That got filled up, and now I have a few cabinets of parts, and now put the parts in their respective drawers. I am deep into MOC building, so most stuff gets used…
  • I just ordered from [email protected] the City and Friends Advent Calendars, City for me, and Friends as a gift to my niece. I also got the Halloween Bat and a couple other things to get over $99 to get the freebie D2C Minifigure Retro Set.
  • Why not purchase it from [email protected], its $199.99 Aust. I see that they have a min. buy of $200Aust to get free shipping, but even though, just buy something small for a few $$ and get the free shipping. Still less money than that BL seller is asking...
  • Its still very slow to change pages for me. I am using Mac/Safari.
  • Some nice projects...I too have a project, that has been languishing a little..LOL. I will throw in a plug for it here too... ;-) It is a modular type house for the modular line of sets. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/67556
  • I seem to have stopped getting any mailers from LEGO, I think I got one VIP item a long time ago and nothing since. I only got one catalog back at the beginning of the year and then nothing since. Only one Club magazine too. I know they are changing…
  • I was just at the Disneyland Lego store this week, and wanted to get a #10220 there. They didn't have any, and I asked and they told me it was soon retiring and they would not get any more in stock. So when I got home, I ordered it from [email protected], it said…
  • I think its just decoration also.
  • Let me explain...now instructions have all the parts and the number of parts listed out for each step, and then where they go outlined in red! Which sets have the part placement outlined in red? Town Hall has the outlining in red (of the sets I h…
  • I had Lego back in the late 60's, early 70's. I kept them all, near the end I got a few of the sets like the Firehouse and Brickyard. Then I came across the Robie House Architecture set, a year or so ago, and that got me looking at the [email protected] site..and…
  • That is so weird, I was using my iPad and it couldn't find it doing a search and the "Hard to Find" category didn't include it. Now when I search on my regular computer, it does find it...I wonder if its a glitch in the website...or the tablet versi…
  • @talos it would be nice to see that cypress tree come with it ;) It would be great if they made a set with one in it, they are going for about $17 a piece on BrickLink! ;-)
  • For what I have been trying to find, the PAB is limited in what is available and like others say, pretty pricey. I have only used it once. BrickLink is much more useful, I think.
  • I've designed a modular townhouse that would fit right in with the Lego modular buildings. I have entered it into the Lego Ideas site as well. If you like it, I would sincerely appreciate your support! Here is a link to it, you need to have a Lego I…
  • I also think the points show up 24 hrs after they ship, and they don't charge until it is shipped, that seems to be the way its worked for me. Also, it seems the more you have purchased in the past, the faster it moves. I had to wait a week the firs…
  • It is sure amazing so many are trying to sell things that are still available for huge markups, not just on ebay, but on other retailers like TRU and Amazon..really need to do research, but since so many are doing it, I guess a lot of people don't!
  • Am I the only one that thinks, for the price, this set should of come with the motor and battery to run it? I saw it motorized on JangBricks video, it looks great running that way...but to me $150 is a little steep for what you get..just my 2 cents..
  • I finished my City Garage #4207 last night, it was fun, now to load it up with some extra cars...
  • I just pretend bought the mixer, and only a 'free ticket offer' got added to the shopping bag..no balloon cart... I will wait..LOL I don't think I want the mixer yet anyway, I don't have any space to display it at the moment.
  • I just found this thread too, and yes, I have to make sure all the 1x1 floor tiles are aligned, and always square up everything by pressing against the table...haha! It does make a difference to me. Stickers, I thought about, and decided to put them…
  • Hope it comes with the box and instructions! http://www.ebay.com/itm/251517239830 Hahaha...
  • I just opened and tried to put together #853195 the brick calendar, I am missing the '10' brick, so had to order it. I got a plain white 2x2 brick instead, so until I get the missing one, I have a white space where the 10th should be. LOL. I also h…
  • I have had to contact customer service, here in the US, and have had good service, more or less. I used email to ask about where my VIP Card went, or if it had been sent at all. I was concerned if it had gotten lost in the post. They replied that it…
  • This is interesting, 'Brickformula' made a YouTube review of the Fire Brigade set, and at the end, has each bag of parts all laid out...nice! I see exactly the one I am missing, its the sub bag in bag 1. 1.01 102 parts in total. I like his review to…
  • I just bought my FB set last week, I have only been back into building modulars in the last couple months, so came into it well past the bulk of the conversation about missing bags of parts. I was mostly worried about how long Lego would honor reque…
  • I also know now, once the parts are all assembled, at the tilted angle on the top slat of the door, I can rotate it back vertical, like I knew it should be able to do.
  • It can be very frustrating to get it to do certain things! I had to stop trying to fix this problem for a week or so, but am glad I got the information I needed to make it work. I think my building file was damaged too. I had to completely delete al…
  • Thanks, I tried that, and it worked! I had tried to rotate, but I first needed to take away the horizontal track parts, then eyeball how much to rotate the slate, it is much more than I thought it would have to be, much more I think than in real lif…
  • Well, I found an unopened #10197 Fire Brigade set on Amazon, and had the money to buy it, and it came in the post yesterday. Well...I wish I knew about this little detail, some sets in the 39r1 batch were missing a lot of parts, probably a whole bag…
  • I called Lego and they replaced my piecemeal order of replacement parts with the entire missing bag of parts, so I should get everything I need, in 7-10 days, they said. The little tape seals on the box should have a code number printed on them, th…
  • I wasn't sure about that, since it is a retired set, that they wouldn't do anything. It was nearly Midnight when I was doing the list of parts, and went ahead and ordered them. I might call them anyway now that it is daytime! I guess I was a little …
  • I have been building my Creator modular buildings for a while now, its currently sitting on the dining table, with just a little room to spare on one end, I am not sure where to put them next! Next to add will be the Fire Brigade set. I think I will…
  • I just finished the Imperial Hotel, I am a FLW fan too. I have it next to the Robie House, and it looks tiny there, the scale is a lot smaller, even though the hotel is much larger in real life. That was a bit of a disappointment. I enjoyed building…
  • I've recently gotten back to collecting, and have built all the current modular buildings, after getting the Robie House model a year or so ago. That one just had extra 1x1 tiles, and I used them to extend the paved driveway. Then as I started build…

  • I went to the Lego Store yesterday and purchased the #10224 Town Hall. I got the last one they had, and the clerk told me it was soon to be retired. I am glad I got it now. So far, I have the ground floor section completed. Just one issue with 2 sma…
