The higher you bid the less likely it is he'll do an offer.
  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,827
Well I tell you what, since it seems to be no holds barred, and since we're all now bidding against each other, I'll take the SSD for £200 Pete, the Tie Advance for £100. the Obi for £25 and the Falcon for £710.

    Sorry!!!
  • hantothantot Member Posts: 284
the more bids the less likely he'll drop the price surely? Also his auction states located in scotland but doncaster on the profile, which would normally get my alarm bells ringing with a feedback of 3!
  • LostInTranslationLostInTranslation Member Posts: 5,572
Didn't @jgadget say he'd go to £200 for the SSD?
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 811
yeah I know just testing the water as he could have had a low reserve. not gonna place any more bids now.

  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 811
Somebody else can take over then if we are doing that, as i wasn't charging anybody for the service of collecting from Scotland.
  • roxioroxio Member Posts: 1,384
what's the minimum bid increment ;)

We'll get blown out the water when a non-bricksetter hits BIN on eBay lol

Yes, but if Pete doesn't get the SSD, then why would he bother? :)

That is what he really wants...

Pete knew I was joking about the SSD.
While I would pay £200 for it, since Pete is coordinating this, in my opinion, he's the only one that can't be outbid.
However, again, in my opinion, he could be encouraged to offer more for an item, but only by others in the consortium.
I'm not one of those people.
  • cheshirecatcheshirecat Member Posts: 5,331
The shuttle was already at £80.

@flump, since this is Cavegod's deal, and he'd be collecting the goods, he can't be outbid.
Between you and me, I do think he should pay £200 for it though, since it's still a bargain at that price.
They'd also get £50 closer to their target.
Don't tell him I said that though. :-)
  • cavegodcavegod Member Posts: 811
^lol exactly it's at least £50 fuel to collect

I think it's ok to outbid Cavegod on the shuttle, since it wasn't in his sights originally.

    Shuttle £100
