^ Thanks! Looks pretty lame, was expecting a slice of cake.

    Thanks Sidersdd!

Wow, that surfer looks horrendous. What is he supposed to be wearing? Or is it a she?

@jadeirene I agree that surfer is not becoming of lego... I expect my mini figures to be clean shaven, having said that I sure hope it's a guy if they insist on facial hair (lol)...

I am pretty sure he meant the monthly build surfer...I don't really see a problem with the minifig one?

Ha, that surfer pickable model is hilarious (and not in a good way), and this coming from a fan of the monthly pickable models!

Change a few of those lime bricks in the surf board and you have Borat in a mankini.

That's exactly what I thought, not a patch on the last couple. I'm sure even my little cousins could have done better than that!

Let's face it, Lego aren't particularly conducive to people on a small scale at least not with the size bricks they use in the monthly builds.

Me too...I loved the Batman and Robin model as well as the Artiste and Patriot...but this one is too goofy.
This month seems lackluster. And looks like the 2nd mini-build are MMMB's they've already done in the past.

Can someone post the back of the August Calendar? I would like to see what the Friend's shirt looks like and details on winning the ultimate VIP experience. Thanks!
