Survey Contests

I was building a set today and noticed on the back of the instruction manual an advertisement to fill out a survey about the set. They say of you fill out the survey you get registered for a chance to win some Lego prize.

I know I have filled these out in the past with no luck. I am just curious if anyone here actually "has" won one of these survey prizes. Seems to me a black hole and just a way for the Lego company to get free marketing feedback.

I won one about a year ago. I got set #8037 for free. I do the survey with a lot of the instructions I get so I don't know which set it was that won it for me.

I won this set some years ago:
    #8386-1
I did the survey after buying the LEGO Dirt Racer RC, a few months later the package delivery knocked on my door and handed me this nice set, which I used for a birthday-present as Ferrari isn't my type of car :-D

I always fill them in, as well as entering any other competition I see that's LEGO related. I figure I have more chance of winning one of those than getting the Helicarrier from Tesco for £12 :-D
