"Dear Lego Fan,
We apologise, but due to extraordinary popularity of our May 4th promotional offer, we have now run out of stock of the Lego Star Wars R2D2 posters.
As the poster could not be included with your order, we have replaced it with a second TC-14 Minifigure and a reusable Lego Tote bag as our way of apologising for any inconvenience caused.
Your Lego Shop at Home Team"
There were 2 TC-14s, a Tie fighter and a red tote bag included - Champion!
I got shipped the freebies on my in-stasis UCS R2 order separately and have received them, so maybe they won't send a TC-14 out by way of apology for it's lateness when it finally ships. I wish all my stuff had been late if they were treated the same way as today's arrival!

So you can sell for $30 today, or "perhaps" $60 in a year.
Even if the price doubles in a year, selling them in one day is still a much better return on investment.
The customer service team could not send me a poster...... so they sent me an extra Chrome TC-14 and a fold up bag along with a Tie fighter.
People also assume they will not be re-released within the next year as well, which may make them worth less and not more.
My order now says:
5001167 LEGO® Exclusive R2-D2™ Poster & Mini TIE Fighter™ Backordered
I emailed to ask for a delivery date and they just said end of June. I hope they don't print more posters!
My order is backordered. The R2 won't be here til the end of May by the looks of things, but I have my two TC-14's, Tie Fighter and Lego bag...thing.
Did everyone getting the extra TC-14 have a big item such as the UCS R2 backordered / delayed?
I'm hoping my late R2 comes with a TC-14 (even though I already got the freebies for that order) or some other gesture for the fact it was supposedly in stock when ordered on the 4th, but later became back ordered until the 24th. If not i'll regret not cancelling it and scoring for a hulk minifig on the reorder.
After reading this thread I was looking forward to getting a TC-14 instead. Today my poster* turned up. Great, go me.
*Unmarked with limited edition numbers so I suppose in consolation I can write my own "1 of 20398".
would you be interested in trading your French R2D2 poster for an English, limited edition one? My kids are learning French, so I'd love to get this for them.
I live in the US.
Is the poster with all the SW minifies worth anything by now?
Received another poster via email when the one was damaged, and received a CMF IT guy head when it was missing when I contacted LEGO via email.
But considering you can either get an RMA from LEGO in which you just drop it off at the PO desk, or you can pay for postage online, and then do the same. I'm not sure why you had to stand in line... but maybe I'm just lucky with my Post Office that I do not have to do that.
Re: Shirtless Darth Mauls - In case you havne't seen on other threads. Smyths toystore in the UK is giving them away with any SW set. So a battle pack for £9 / £10 gets you a free Maul.
I felt the same way I got a replacement poster for one of the damaged ones and not a TC-14 (then again I have not received the poster yet so I may need to go back to LEGO and complain)
When mine went backordered, I asked by email how long it will be. They reckoned end of June. Hopefully the early ship date means they have substituted.
If the posters have run out, I wonder how many TC-14s there are. Weren't their meant to be 20K or so UK posters, same for US and a similar number for Europe / France / Germany?
Email to Lego and today I got 2 x TIEs, 2 x TC-14 and tote bag.
Nice one TLG :)
