Target ad for next week shows up to 40% off select Lego sets. Interestingly they advertise the Harry Potter Chess set at $35.99 in the ad but the set doesn't show up when you search online.

#76217 was marked down 40% on the website today. I have been planning on getting it. Put it in my cart and looked around for a bit. Went to purchase it and it was sold out.

This is a weird sale. The sets showing in the ad aren't available online for the most part but there are quite a few sets listed as part of the sale online. My local Target is pretty wiped out but I did manage to snag one White Baseplate and Mia's Wildlife Rescue on sale in store the other night. Their website still shows they have 4 available but unless they are in the stockroom I took the last one on the floor the other night when they were also showing 4 available. One of the other Targets I sometimes visit had even less available last week so I didn't bother checking there the other day.

I'm assuming the 40% off sets are ones unlikely to return.

Still upset with myself as I had it in my cart for about 40 minutes. Finally sat back down to buy it and it was gone.

Indecision strikes again!

(Anyone else after the set, it's 20% off on Amazon currently. I just had a Target GC I was trying to use up as there is currently no LEGO budget to spend)

@Russell844, thanks for the offer! I don't have a ton of interest in the other set, really just the Groot. Might end up being more financially viable to just do the $43 on Amazon I'm thinking?

Well, 24 hours of patience has paid off. I got notice this morning that it was back in stock. Before I had even got out of bed, the set was purchased to ensure I didn't fall into the pit of despair again!

I keep debating getting the Bird of Paradise set too as I don't want to miss out...but sales seem elusive. I'll keep an eye on Target as I often forget to and hope for the best.

@switchfoot55 I had debated getting the bird of paradise last year when on sale at Amazon and target for $69.99 and passed. Haven’t seen it on sale recently. William got one a couple weeks back when at the Lego store with my sister for his girlfriend. I just still am unsure whether I like or just want it to go with other flowers🤔

I’ll keep an eye out and post is I see it on sale.

Target has the 2022 City Space sets for 20% off (which is better than Amazon at the moment). They still seem overpriced so I'd like to get them for 20% off with "get a gift card for spending $50" promotion. In late 2022, they offered that deal only for current year sets though.

The only one I'm missing is the biggest set, the Launch Center. Can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on it at the $127.99 price tag. I do still have most of the Target Gift cards I bought when they sold them at 10% off so I'd be saving a bit more off by using them. I've pretty much managed to talk myself out of buying the big Friends sets I still have on my wanted list, Emma's Art School & the Organic Farm. Still trying to decide about the Roller Disco Arcade mostly for the parts although I could probably just buy the parts I want from it.

#41738 is not included but it's adorable and $9.99 is good for the piececount

#76831 and #76832 is included, might bite on them now but not sure what else I'd get and $79.98 is overkill for a $50 deal

It's the Vibrant Coral one that came with the recycling truck. I grabbed both of those set and a few other things when they did the 20% off deal a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I'm considering this time around is #11022 which is still on sale for $79.99, with one of my 10% off gift cards & the $10 gift card promo it's looking like a decent deal.

From what I see available online it looks like the Target sale is on select Speed Champions, Disney Prrincess & City themes including most January releases. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Target has the "Otter Battle Pack". I'm beginning to wonder if that set is exclusive to Walmart in the US although I thought Target had it on their website for a day or two in January. For railroad enthusiasts the train tracks are included in the sale as are the road plates but no base plates this week.

@Lo1sJess it's #60394 ATV and Otter Habitat. Sadly Target doesn’t seem to be selling it but Walmart is. So far only at rrp. I ordered my limit of 2 from Lego when it was released.

New Target ad starting March 26 shows select Lego sets will be buy one get one @ 40% off. Decent deal if they offer two sets at the same price that you want. Not so good if you want one more expensive than the other. I prefer they just do a 20% off deal but will check to see what is included. Doubt it will be anything new.

As for Target NOT-deals, #77012 is $39.99: $5 over RRP.

Found the new Disney CMF'S in a Target today. Was able to get at least 1 of each of the 17 I wanted and duplicates of some. Need to verify which ones I still need to pick up duplicates of. They were in the checkout lanes. Still no sign of any polybags yet.

Seeing #30652 as well and it's an aisle away from the rest of the LEGO but otherwise the same at my Target on the polys, not seeing 77012

I saw those same polybags finally at my local Target. But they were nowhere near the LEGO aisles. They were over by the workout equipment section. shrug

I shared this in another thread but feel it's relevant here too...I picked up the @75323 Justifier at Target, having them price-match Barnes and Noble's 20% off price of $135.99, less another 5% red card discount and a couple of $10 GCs from a previous promotion to use. I would have gone with the 5x VIP points offer next week if it were being offered online.
