I am happy to report a box arrived on my front door and has been hastily (and carefully) jammed into our Christmas Tree, because when letters or packages arrive for Christmas - this is what we do.

Not sure when this happened. But I find it funny and nobody's presents get lost.

A few days ago a parcel arrived with a lovely card saying there may be a delay with the main present arriving.

Perhaps if you haven't gotten notice that the package you sent has arrived, I'd encourage everyone to review their parcel tracking info. Please let your region coordinator know if there is a delay so we can get communications out accordingly!

When I stated earlier on in the thread that I wouldn't be partaking in Secret Santa 2022, despite my usual shenanigans of maybe exaggerating the truth somewhat, I was unfortunately telling the truth this year as a lot of things have changed for me personally this year as well as all the other stuff happening in the world that everyone else has had to deal with.
Not a comment to try and garner sympathy as life is what it is and sometimes you have highs, sometimes lows and I'm old enough to roll with the punches and carry on regardless.
It did mean that my capacity for hobby spending had to be curbed greatly compared to what it had been in previous years.
Which brings me to the point of this post.
Today, I had a parcel delivered. I hadn't ordered anything so was a tad confused as to what it was.
Below was what was inside.

The fact that a member of Brickset has thought enough and been kind enough to send me a Secret Santa gift has left me feeling humbled at the kindness and generosity of the members of this forum.
To the member that went to the trouble of doing this, I have absolutely no idea who you are but I honestly hope that karma finds a way to repay you for your generosity. You are and absolute legend for doing this and I cannot thank you enough.

The only space I have for my WV is somewhat constricting. I put #21335 Lighthouse at the far end although I am having some trouble with the light at the top of it. Then I am putting various appropriate builds along the countertop.

This includes last year's SS gift which I have put up against #40564 Winter Elves (a GWP). The original build my SS sent had a raised corner etc but I have altered it some to make it look right.

This year's SS gift is still under my tree to be opened Sunday but the parcel included a couple of winter figures which I will add to my WV later today. Thank you to both my SS!

Well, this is most unexpected. Earlier this week another rattle filled parcel arrived. I've already got my SS gift, so what's going on?

One of the great things about the SS is that they all understand our impatience and include other stuff ... my SS sent nicely wrapped gifts but also sent a couple of CMF's and the missing Andy Bernard (from #21336 Office) and yummy Chocolates including an apology if I happened to be allergic to chocolate or peanuts. The CMFs turned out to be the snowman and the elf with the snowglobe and will shortly find places in my WV. It is especially wonderful for me because except for one of my sisters my whole family pretty much ignores my Legomania and with my birthday being today 12/22 it is especially great to have the SS!

Twas some days before Christmas, when through lots of houses,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a minifig;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that Brickset Santa soon would be there;

The Bricksetters were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Lego bricks danced in their heads;

And @lowlead in a ‘kerchief, and @Switchfoot55 in a cap,

Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap,

When out on the lawn there arose a familiar clatter,

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,

Gave a lustre of midday to plastic objects below,

When what to my wondering eyes did appear,

But a minifig-scaled sleigh and eight ABS reindeer,

With a little plastic driver so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment he must be minifig St. Nick.

As I drew in my head, and was turning around,

Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a kind of cute, awkward stop-motion movement and limited articulation that characterised Lego minifigs.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of where his nose should be,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like a Galaxy Explorer using a Star Wars hyperdrive.

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—

“Happy Christmas to all Bricksetters, and to all a good night!”

Good morning and Merry Christmas Brickset. As ever there's a small window in the cooking schedule to open my BSSS gift, it's been puzzling me since it arrived, hand delivered on the doorstep a while back.

Opened the personalised box (great recycling of an old HP set box!) to reveal some cool polybags and the awesome Bean there donut that kiosk set. Miss Speedy was most excites after seeing the Target logo "that's a American set!"
