    I picked up a nice used golf ball display case at Goodwill, time to upgrade my minifigure display. On the right is my current display, which is a shot glass display turned sideways.

    I would never have imagined that a dedicated Golf Ball Display Case would exist! 

    Of course golfers likely never imagine that a dedicated LEGO Minifigure Display Case would exist either!

    yeah, a lot of golfers collect balls with the course logo when they visit other courses, especially famous ones. Same general idea as shot glass collections, match boxes, pint glasses, etc.

    It's a fair question.  My logic for my specific use:
    1) The door has a clear plastic insert rather than glass, which will be lighter and less awkward when I open it to change out minifigs.
    2) I like the cherry wood look vs. the black.
    3) The rows are open all the way across, so I have more flexibility if I want to mix up the fig spacing.
    4) I can fit one more fig per row comfortably, using the same spacing as before.

    Bought this week, not yet built: Avatar #75571, #75572, and #75574 ( #75573 doesn't interest me). Having seen the Na'vi minifigs in the display case at the LEGO store, they look better in reality than photos. 
    I'll probably get all five of the second wave sets.
    I only saw part of the movie, maybe a half hour? I just think these look neat.

    I got #10271 from Target today, so I've been ordering the parts to turn him into Luigi. It's actually a really adorable MOD I did. (If I do say myself.)

    I just ordered #10293 Santa's Visit and knocked $25 off with VIP points.  It's backordered for a few weeks, so I pulled the trigger to hopefully get it around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

    I just ordered #80037 and #80038, and I'll get the Fun and Funky VIP add on pack and the Fleece Blanket. Order total $209.98, plus tax of $16.02 equals $225.99. Um, what? I am very good at math, and I'm sure that adds up to $226.00! Interesting...

    Purchased a bulk lot through Facebook marketplace this morning, I see some parts of good sets in it.  I'm only out $80 for 20 pounds of parts, so even if the sets aren't fully there, it will be a nice parts collection.

    For sure, I just don’t want to jinx it. Every time I swoop through the pictures I see more good stuff, which either means it’s a gold mine, or nothing is complete.

    One of the things that I miss every year now is the Bricktober sets from Toys "R" Us.  Especially over the last few years, they've been great little builds that I've tried to get my hands on.  Well, somehow I TOTALLY MISSED the 2021 set of fairy tale books, but as I was getting THIS year's coin operated rides, I happened to stumble across them again, and now, about a week and a half later...



    I KNOW that I could just part these out mostly, but there's just something about having the 'official' packaging and instructions that makes the set for me when I'm getting it new.

    It has arrived, there’s a lot of sorting to do.

    So far, there are some parts from the Winter Village Cottage, some Architecture sets, a few modular buildings, and the Tower Bridge, plus some random Friends and Harry Potter pieces.

    I don’t think anything will be complete, but we’ll see how incomplete they are when it’s all sorted out.

    The front door does not appear to be here. No minifigures either. I have a red door in my collection, but not a dark green door frame.

    I have found a few chunks of the Mini Modulars, curious to see how much of them I can slap together.

    Some may not understand it, but the rush of getting a bulk lot to filter through is pretty fun. Even seeing other people post what they're finding is a blast!

    Nothing! Because despite it being a LEGO VIP weekend, the VIP system isn't working. Redeemed some points for vouchers and they are all showing as not valid. called CS and they said they are swamped with people with the same issue and can't do anything about it. The only solution seems to be buy without using VIP points and hopefully they'll credit back to my account, although the balance is still showing as a few hundred points left instead of a few thousand!
    If I get they get it sorted then the BTTF Delorean will be heading my way for Christmas!

    I just bought #40563 off eBay instead of spending $250 on stuff I probably don't want that much.

    Now back to hunting for more classic sets!

    I got a good offer from a friend for the Haunted House (the monster fighters one, not the most recent one) so now I'm anxious for it to get to me. (there is also a creator house from 2013 on the side)

    ^ me too, buddy. We'll see what treasures show up as people clean out their basements during the holiday season.

    In this last lot, nothing was complete, but I was able to scrape together the Winter Village Cottage. I ended up keeping most of the rest of the bulk, there are a lot of great parts in the Architecture and Modular Building collections.

    I can't turn down 1x6 and 1x8 bricks in tan and light gray, and my window collection gained 50 more dark green frames from the Grand Emporium, so no complaints there.

    Just picked up #76218 Sanctum Sanctorum from Argos which I got at a more palatable £144.50 as wasn't keen on the rrp price! Also had #76215 Black Panther delivered, couldn't resist getting it during VIP weekend with money off voucher and the extra VIP points!

    Expensive few days when I wasn't really planning to buy much at all but saving money now made more sense than waiting and buying both at rrp!

    @WesterBricks, I'm still sorting through my last bulk lot. Slow going, but I've found at least 6 Speed Champions (all missing between 1 and 10 parts), a few Star Wars sets, and a ton of Lego Batman Movie sets. Debating on if I'll keep the rest of the parts as bulk or resell the bin to recoup some money. 

    I'll be posting a MOD for the Winter Village Cottage here as soon as my PaB order shows up. It just invoiced, so hopefully in the next week.

    I just ordered three of the #40558 Clone Trooper Command Station. I got four $5 discounts for %75 off, used more points for a $20 voucher, so I spent $5.35. I was going to get two, then remembered free shipping over $35: "Well! Might as well get a third!"
    At checkout, I was warned that they are very busy right now, so delivery might take a little longer. No complaints from me! 😃

    Bit of a random purchase but spotted this for £3.95 while buying other items on Amazon.

    Bought the first wave of Nexo Knights then lost interest but always wanted the Merlock figure so ticked that box. You can never have too many wizards.
