Still waiting for Muppets minifigs ordered 1st of June. Customer service said it would be out by 1/8 but nope. Worried for Galaxy Explorer now.

@scottdd2 Our online Lego store here is painfully slow sending things out. This is only a new thing. Even at the height of the pandemic things would be sent out in 2 or 3 days. Now they just sit in the warehouse. My 1st August order has been waiting to be shipped all week.  My last order in June was sitting in the warehouse for 2 or so weeks before it shipped.
But waiting since 1st June. That's a bit of a joke. Hope you get them soon.

I can only imagine the process that goes into deciding where a LEGO Store will end up going. But, now having moved to a new city without one, I'm wondering if one can petition LEGO to open a store? I know it's a pipe dream, but the idea of having to wait for my one to two trips back to my last location to visit family/the LEGO store is weighing heavier than I thought it would!

Trying to figure out how #60339 City Double Stunt Track is worth $160. What a ridiculous set and what a ridiculous price. It makes Star Wars seem like a good bargain at full price.

Thanks, yeah the thing is it has been showing in warehouse all this time. I've never had an order take this long. Looks like another phone call soon.

I was alerted to the Bricktropolis event by a friend who also has a Lego mad child so we met up today to see the event, some good displays at the Sheffield University Owen Building and there’s several large scale dinosaur displays around the city. Took a good few hours to take it all in so would recommend to anyone who lives near or is planning to visit Sheffield before the 21st. I won’t post all photos to avoid spamming this thread but have attached some examples!

A fine evening out at the Lego Leicester Square store event prior to its opening tomorrow!  The redesign has made a HUGE difference upstairs, I can see that Huw has added some pics to the Brickset twitter.  Some great Lego models, loads of lovely room, and a picture with Lester to finish off (it looks very flat in the pic but it is indeed a person in the outfit)! Plenty of celebs too who my wife unabashedly asked for selfies with (and were all very pleasant), though my wife was most pleased to have her pic taken with none other than @SirKevbags himself!

May be an image of 1 person

#60344 is a cute little new set but it is the very opposite of CITY - TLG does overuse that branding

^^ I always thought Legoland or LEGO System worked well - where the subject matter on the box spoke for itself.

Current status is taking sets out of display cabinets (Ikea Besta) to pack for an upcoming move. Done with Friends, Speed Champions, LotR/Hobbit, Ideas & Architecture and on to Star Wars, Marvel/DC & Creator.

Once we get the furniture, dishes and other unimportant stuff settled into the new place, instead of putting this stuff back the same way I’m going to dig up the classic space out of storage, get those assembled over the winter, then fill in space with current stuff.

Looks like it's going to be a super busy day!  At least you can go do something else for the next two hours.  Hope you enjoy the new experience though :)

I've seen the interior shots, looks amazing, I'll be heading there at some point when the crowds die down! The GWP truck looks cool as well. What chance they start selling it in the shop, would love to get hold of one

I now have way too many sets still in their box waiting to be built. Perhaps now I will entertain the idea of not buying a new set a week so I can build the ones I have taking up space. Right after I buy the Friends theatre for my Muppets minifigs.

^My wife recently discovered my stash of boxed sets while preparing to move. I have been encouraged to start building before I consider any more purchases...

Once the house build is finally finished, I look forward to setting time aside each day to build. My SW helmet collection will be first on the list!

Preparing for our visit to Billund, and checking the VIP-points-4-Lego-House-tickets-ratio turned out quite okay... Even though I HAD to to order #10305 to get enough points for two free tickets :) Oh well, no harm no foul ;)
(was surprised it is in stock, actually, and a little bummed the Forestmen GWP is no longer available).

Also, been building #910023 which arrived during our holiday in France. Great build so far, up to bags 4.

You're not alone.  I quite liked the early Stuntz stuff, but those prices...   I ended up buying a few of the early solo bikers, and have pretty much given up on the line. :(

Yep right there with you. Today’s delivery of #60333 Bathtub Stunt Bike will likely be the end of our Stuntz purchases.

It only just arrived yesterday but since there’s some great sunsets at the moment I wanted to do this with the Lion Knights Castle - bringing Lego boxes out and about makes me nervous though!

What is Con Trol? Is that like the Polish of Nai-eel?  The country of Spare Oom? ;) I'm blessed. Finally found the LEGO 90th confirmation in my email, reading through Luke...God is SO good!

My motto is whatever I buy, I have to build it before I can order anything else. Doesn’t keep me from having a closet full of Lego, but it keeps me from having a closet full of unopened Lego I bought years ago and haven’t had time to build yet. Kind of a time budgeting constraint to go with the financial constraints to keep me from buying too much at one time. Anyone in my family would still say I buy way too much at one time even so.

Mrs Speedy went shopping in the middle of Lidl!
Miss Speedy has to build what she thinks her first day at secondary school will be like, from LEGO. So that's uniformed minifig sorted!

I like how the forum is now showing how many people are online now (241!) as opposed to just vaguely saying 10+ or whatever it did before.

I am amazed at how many people are online here! I never really thought about it or clicked on the 10+ to check. Usually just looked at the couple of avatars showing to see if I recognized anyone. Now I'm wondering why there aren't many more comments with the amount of people reading.

I wonder if it's a count of users "signed in" and not users "currently active".  There could be a lot of stale logins, where the user hasn't visited the site in days, weeks, or months, or registered once and forgot all about it.

I typically always have the site open looking through posts on breaks at work or seeing what trouble people are getting up to. I'm fortunate and grateful to have found friends along the way as well!
