My wife has been moaning about how much I've been spending on Lego lately. She will be more annoyed when she finds out I ordered a few sets she thought were cute a few days ago now and they are due for delivery soon LOL.

    #11006 Creative Blue Bricks
    #11012 Creative White Bricks
    #40522 Valentine Lovebirds
    #40524 Sunflowers

And a bricks and pieces order to build the #75222 Betrayal at Cloud City Cloud Car.

I also saw a #75172 Y-Wing for £55 delivered buy it now, but I was too cheap for that, threw on a cheeky bid, and it got shilled by a 0 feedback bidder up to £50, before selling for £65-70. So I threw a cheeky £55 delivered offer to another seller, they accepted, and hopefully it will be with me when my wife is busy building her Lego.

Now if only I had known for sure that the Forestmen GWP was coming back this week... still I could wait until to 8th to get it with the new Castle...

Out of curiosity, has anyone in the U.S. spotted a #10497 in the wild yet?  Or perhaps too early for Target, WM or B&N....

I had no trouble ordering #10305 a few minutes early and I used some points to ease the credit card pain but I am so sorry that I missed out on the Forest Hideout GWP that would have been so sweet!

Grabbed #31131 Noodle Shop and #21167 Trading Post for 30% off. Together will become the groundfloors of one side of a Ninjago modular. The cross-pollination discussion in the unpopular opinions thread got me to thinking it would be fun if a Minecraft Trader and his llamas had a small stall in Ninjago City.

Just got back from the store (UK) where I picked up the Lion Knights' Castle, forest hideout GWP was readily available so its disappointing to here of some fans struggles around the globe. Does feel like lego really messed up the release and distribution on this one, which kind of sullies what should have been a fun 90th celebration.

Biggest lego purchase I've ever made, and likely ever to make. At least I can spend all those vip points on something in the future.

So during our food shop last bit we strolled past a number of reduced polybags and came home with #30583 Creator Easter Rabbit and #30416 Friends Fruit and Jam stall for £1.50 each.

My wife thinks it's just a cynical ploy to distract her from the money I've spent on Lego recently and to get her to start buying it too. She's half right, and let's leave it at that lol. But she does seem to like Minidolls...

Not sure where to post this but it looks like in the last few minutes, all prices on every set on Lego.com have been rounded to the nearest Euro, €399.99->€400 etc. It might just be on the Irish version.

Just ordered the Orchid to get the VIP Pirate pack.  My Galaxy Explorer arrived yesterday and my two plush spacemen are guarding it waiting for me to start building it.

Today's payday, and I got a completely unexpected bonus! About $170 after taxes. But the #75337 AT-TE is delayed here! Nooooooo!
So maybe #75323 The Justifier instead. It's ludicrously expensive, but I really like it. And "free money", after all.

Well I had the wife and kids with me so decided it would be prudent to just buy one in their presence then order online or pop back for a couple more when I'm alone!

After a stroke of luck with a couple of sets ending on the same night, after months of waiting, I managed to snag a copy of #75055 Imperial Star Destroyer.

The listing showed it as boxed but unchecked with a couple of food bags with nothing immediately apparent as to its level of completeness.

To my surprise it has all of the minifigures, most of the pieces and very little discoloration. Even better perhaps because of the other auction an hour earlier, and because of the poor photos and description, I managed to get one boxed with manuals and poster for a lot cheaper. It was a bit of a gamble, and after my loss on the eBay marketplace scam, probably a bit foolish too but it looks to have paid off.

I've literally just finish building it to check the contents and it's missing 1x black 1x2 plate, 1x dark grey claw, 2x dark grey grilles, 2x trans clear studs, 1x dark grey 2x2 plate, 1x light grey 3x3 plate, and 1x light grey 1x4 plate. Most of which I have in my collet as spares or are inexpensive to replace anyway. The trans clear studs seem to have taken the brunt of the discoloration, and I'm hopeful after a gentle clean the rest will scrub up nicely.

My wife go so annoyed at listening to me shuffling through parts that she even sorted most of them into piles to give her ears a rest hahahaha!

The other issue being the original builder placed the 7 computer stickers on the incline side and not on the flat side of the angled bricks but that's not a deal breaker.

The only real gripe I do have is that the seller sent this boxed item in a plastic bag... So the box arrived unnecessarily beat up. Overall though it's good to finally have it and boxed and mostly complete, at an unboxed price, so I'm considering it a win :)

finally saw these on sale 50% off in a supermarket (the 50% being a voucher that can be used to buy anything in the supermarket by Sept 1st. Another rule is that 1 voucher can have a value of max ~40 euros, and one buyer can have 1 voucher per day max). So got 3 of them today and 3 yesterday.

Sales campaigns can be pretty weird sometimes.

Someone at Rebrickable has already posted a list of parts you need to make the other 2 ships from one set...
Curious as to where one might find this parts list (apologies, I don't use Rebrickable a whole lot, so it might be obvious but I didn't spot it on a quick search)? I was already thinking about acquiring a second set, so if I can Bricklink the rest of the parts I would need to make all three models with some relative ease I think I'd be all over that.

I finally managed to snag myself a copy of #75150 for the Tie Advance X1 and Vader for a price I'm relatively comfortable with woohoo! Particularly as I don't care for a green A-Wing or three of the minifigures. It took some doing but I got there in the end lol.

I'm still going to want a red Return of the Jedi A-Wing at some point, and reasonably priced #75175 are few and far between at present, so I may try and recolour this one, #75248 or pick up #75003 with the added bonus of an Admiral Akhbar minifigure to boot.

yeah, I agree that the minifigures other than Sabine are kind of blah. I mean, how many Vaders do we really need? ;) I am a little confused though, because Tarkin is also a good mini figure that's not super common in sets. I'd say that's 2 good and 2 average figures.

Well, Vader's TIE fighter without Darth Vader would be... kinda pointless.

560 hit the nail on the head -  A Tie Advance without Vader just isn't the same hehe.

Moff Tarkin isn't bad per se, but his uniform isn't grey as in A New Hope. I watched all of the Rebels episodes last year but I didn't really enjoy them or pay much attention, and dare I blaspheme, I felt the same when I binge watched  Clone wars and the Bad Batch too. I'm sure those shows will have adult fans somewhere but they were not for me.

Super jealous of the #75150. That's a set I regret passing up when it was in stores. I hope we get a new Vader TIE soon, but even if we do we're unlikely to get another Rebels A-wing with a gonzo center slider trigger mechanism.

Of course the set needs Vader, but it's the least interesting minifigure in the set.

Tarkin is really interesting to me BECAUSE he's not in gray. It's a unique variation from a well-loved series. I might honestly say it's the best SW tv series to date, IMO. The first time I watched Season 1 of it, I would have thought myself mad for thinking that was possible. But like many SW fans, including many adults, the series really grew on me, as did the characters. Also, Sabine minifigures are going to become a lot more popular next year, like Ahsoka and some others did when those characters appeared in new shows.

My second #10497, plus the Pirates parts pack.
I can confirm that VIP points can be redeemed in-store: you don't need to go online to "buy" discount vouchers.
And you can redeem your points in $1 increments! (Instead of $5).
Now I can build both alternate models (with my existing parts.) I lack one grey bucket for the maneuvering thrusters- but I might have one loose. For the 2x4 Space logo tile , I'll just use an original 1x3x6 blue slope with logo. 😃

Well, had to run a lunch errand and decided to swing by Scheels to check out the polybag selection and see if they had any Series 23 figs in yet. They were in the process of reorganizing the LEGO shelves but, thankfully, the Polybag and Blindbag section was opened. I started to feel the blind bags looking for some Christmas figs to start my Nutcracker army only to realize I hadn't really studied any feel guides yet. I got 3 bags in when I got a call from my wife that I needed to get home quickly so she could head to an appointment.

Guess it's time to study and dedicate a little extra time next trip to finding the figs I'm after! The Polybag selection was great too, so will have to add a couple of those to the pile as well.

Guess I may need to check put my local Scheels tomorrow.  Not that I need to spend anymore money on Lego right now.  Went back to one of my local Walmarts today to double-check what was left in clearance & ended up getting the Creator 3-in-1 Ferris Wheel & Friends Vacation Beach House for $49 each, Classic Around the World for $25, and SW Resistance X-wing & Jasmine & Mulan's Adventure for $13 each.

Went back to Scheels today and had a feel through of the blind bags. Pretty sure at least one other person came through since my trip yesterday. I didn't feel a single Fairy, Snowman, Wolf, Ferry Captain, or Dragon.  Guess I'll have to keep my eye on Walmart or Target in the coming weeks.

I was able to get two elves, a Nutcracker, Reindeer, and Turkey. It at least gets my armies started! I had two more Reindeer packs identified, but decided to keep it to one for now.

Also snagged the Fall Garden and Scarecrow ploybag.

I'll post some pictures later, but thinking Scheels might need is own thread in the forums. Aside from the larger D2C/UCS sets, is say my Scheels has nearly as much inventory as my last local LEGO Store had. Nice to know I'll have a vast selection super close. They even had Ideas Treehouse sets, among many others.

Might not be a bad idea to make a Scheels thread.  Unfortunately my trip there today was a bust.  No new minifigs to be found.  Just a dozen open boxes of series 22.  Last time I was there they had tons of the Muppets ones but no sign of those today.  No polybags I was interested in either.  They only had about 8 different choices, no Hogwarts, Parrot, Scarecrow.
I did have $10 Kohl's cash to spend by Sunday so I snagged a second copy of the HP Thestral Carriage for $10.

Just bought the #10300 Delorean at Zaavi for $169.99 thanks to the announcement on the front page. This is the one set I was upset about the price increase because it’s both relatively new AND it’s been out of stock since it came out. I wasn’t planning on buying any Lego for the foreseeable future but I could not let this opportunity pass.
