I've also picked up #75239 Action battle Hoth Generator Attack from eBay to provide some scenery for my AT-AT, Snowspeeder, etc.
And I've also just made an order on Lego.com with around £20 worth of pick and build / bricks and pieces to restore the majority of missing parts from the aforementioned job lot, Sadly that will not be the final tally as there are several minifigures and accessories missing that will have to come from elsewhere but oh well. And to bump it up for free delivery I did think about getting something for my wife to play with which has been on the to do list for some time, but then I thought nah (haha!) and added #76188 The classic TV series Batmobile to keep my Tumbler company. As it has been an expensive month for other reasons, I redeemed 3200 points for £20 off, and got the lot for £30 delivered with double points, which is nice considering the Batmobile alone is normally £30. Sweet :)
Curved windowframes + a baggie of trans windows
1x1 black clips
Some black round windows
A bunch of 2x1x2 SNOT bricks
and some taps.
Trans light blue 1x2 and round dark blue 1x1 tiles not in picture.
Great PAB haul!
It’s like a Rorschach test - I see a #42083 Bugatti Chiron. Seller stated it’s 7 pounds of parts. BrickStore estimates the total weight of the Chiron’s parts at 6.7 pounds, so either we have a winner and the wheels are buried in the pictures, or there are some filler bricks.
#75167 Bounty Hunter Speeder Bike Battle pack. I don't care at all for the speeder bike build itself, but the minifigures will make for a nice addition to my Star Wars shelves.
I actually took advantage of the double VIP points to clear out about 20 of the sets that were on my list of sets I was going to get eventually, that overlapped with the sets that are increasing come August 1st. A good number of the sets seeing increases are larger sets that are unlikely to go on any kind of significant sale in the US, since we don't usually get sales like the seem to in Europe, so this double points even ending today is probably your best chance to get them at the cheapest price we're likely to see them. For #10297 at least, I would pull the trigger if you were planning on getting it anyway, and have the money.
Granted, SW0877 and SW0769 aren't quite the same as the original minifigures, but they're close enough - and I'll finally have a use for the Stormtroopers that came with my pair of #75300 Tie Fighters too. Bricklink lists the minifigures at a good £5-£6 each so win win.
They also had a Biggs Darklighter minifigure book which would have gone nicely in an extra #75301 X-Wing but I didn't bother on account that he came with hair, and not his own unique helmet.
Now to find me a cheap Imperial crew member and a reasonably priced Star Destroyer...
I'm an addict. I need to be stopped.
Onward and upward!
Between #6277 #6273 and the two #6271 I've got four Admiral Woodhouses in here now... The command chain is all kinds of messed up!
"No I am the real Admiral Woodhouse"
My gut feeling says in for a penny, in for a pound, but it would cost as much for a whole other set to add that sucker in and I don't know if it's worth it. Maybe I will when I've ticked a few other more important things from my to do list off first, namely a Star Destroyer, Tie Advance, Y-Wing and A-Wing.
I'm thinking of doing a bricks and pieces order to make the #75222 Cloud Car without the uneccessary expense or unwieldy bulk of buying the whole Betrayal at Cloud City. Here's hoping I can get hold of all of the parts and the sticker sheet to put that minifigure to use!
Now I'm looking at placing at least another order or two on sets that are going to suffer from the price increases in the US tomorrow. Looking really hard at NES, Ecto-1, Daily Bugle, and a few others. Home Alone is now probably off my list for good. Haunted House isn't showing on any of the US price increase lists so far but it jumped a good bit in Australia, so ... uggg... I don't need to spend this much today!
For $100 we get four brand-new Space minifigs... and a spaceship?!? What wizardry is this?
I’m trying to decide if I should jump on #10305 when it’s released on Wednesday, or hold out for a double VIP points event. I’ll be kicking myself if it sells out quickly.
