Looks like three rejected IDEAS sets are getting a second chance in collaboration with Target X.

Voting open through May 31.

Interesting.  Products from the last Lego X Target collab were impossible to get a hold of.  I would love an astronaut plushie, puzzle, or handbag.  I hope the Ideas set is more readily available.

I hope the winner is available globally (ie countries where ‘Target’ doesn’t exist) because I like all 3 of these concepts more than the ones that have just gone through the regular crowdfunding phase.

^ it suggests available globally and just US being Target and Lego shops/S&H.

Q: What does the partnership with Target mean? Will it be available in the rest of the world too?
A: The set will have almost the same availability as regular LEGO Ideas sets – with the exception of in the United States, where it will be exclusively available through Target in addition to LEGO Brand Retail stores and the LEGO online shop.

If it's like #40358 Bean There, Donut That, then it will only be available at Target stores.  Which means good luck finding it for a while.

After the initial release, that set was really easy to find at Target.  Sometimes when the stock was low after the pandemic started, it would be one of the only sets left!

Which was months after release.  I didn't find it in a store near me until seven months after it had been "released".

I hope Mini golf wins but I'm kinda expecting the Viking village to. Nothing against that one but we're already getting another Viking set this year and they've never really done anything like mini golf, closest probably would be the maze years ago.

The mini golf set is certainly one of the more unique offerings. Reminds me a bit of the Ideas Maze #21305 from a few years back.

Just realized the results of this vote are supposed to be announced sometime this month. No update on the Ideas website yet.

Yay, the winner is the Viking Village.  guess I'll be poorer.  At least I didn't buy any of the Bricklink sets.

Will be interesting to see if they bring back the rope bridge mold again. I know they did it in Dark Tan in one of the Pirates reboots but that has still be a long time ago.

My bet is they will do it like in the ewok village set,  with ropes (the spiderman kind)  and robot arms holding onto plates with bars
