    "Supplies for Damaborg"

Colonel Tomás Francisco of the Eslandolan Continental Army arrived in Damaborg with artillery and supplies to reenforce the fledgling settlement.

He expected to find the people of the settlement, including almost a full regiment of MAESTRO soldiers, living in tents or other temporary housing.

Instead, he found a town on the rise with several permanent wooden structures and enterprising artisans taming the wilderness to extract the resources necessary to expand.

And settled in between the two larger sets…

Now I can start planning for the space between the docks and the NC Gardens…
Looking forward to seeing what's next!

My college buddies and I have slowly been working through Avatar: The Last Airbender over the last couple of months, and this afternoon I found the time and the inspiration to make this:

    "The Scent of Terraversan Pines"

The soldier paused for a moment beneath the pine tree to take in the wild scent. When the sun warmed bark, the tree let off a rich, sweet aroma.

What could be better? Since the end of the Second Terraversan War, life in the Commonwealth of Terraversa was charmed.

Impressive. But it kinda looks like it’s surrounded by a moat filled with blood ;-)

I wish I could find a way to make it less uniform appearing for the bricked walkways, but the other red tile color options just don't mix in well.  In my defense, up close, there is a pattern to the "brick pavers".  :)

There’s always the “gold brick” part. Not sure if it’s available in the color you want.

I really hadn't thought of that.  The ingot piece (99563) does exist in reddish brown, but not sure how that will look.  I'll have to play with it and see.  Thanks for the suggestion!

^My browser doesn't want to load the photos always, so it's a bit hit or miss. Are you designing this based on DisneyLAND or Disney WORLD?

Curious if you could add in some "curbs" in a couple of places, or break up the red in the front with some different grays as it if was coming from the turnstiles?  I know in at least Disneyland, there is the sidewalks through the tunnels that give way to the curb/road on the inside of the entrance. Maybe adding the hint of that would break up the red enough?

    Looks really impressive!

Disneyland in CA.  I tried to do the "curb" on the Main Street side with the minimal line of gray on the edge (which would be where the street starts.  On the entrance side, the real plaza between the turnstiles and the Mickey hillside is a lot wider than the few brick widths I put in the model.  It is already unwieldy big and expensive, so I had to cut it off somewhere.  In the park, there are some gray detail pavers on the plaza between the turnstiles and the hill, but it is all round and "swoopy" which is just really hard to do in Lego (at least for a relative novice like myself).  Unfortunately, all the walkways and sidewalks at the park are paved in red brick on Main Street USA.

I appreciate the constructive ideas and feedback.

    "Quartering in Spudkirk"

The Corlander troops amassed in Spudkirk were mostly camped outside the town, but a sizeable number of officers were billeted in townhouses near the center of town.

The townsfolk were glad to host the officers - they felt that much safer from the Lotii having soldiers at hand.

"Artillery Drill On A Windy Day, Spudkirk"

Corlander commanders took advantage of a string of windy days to drill their artillery units using real world physics.

I originally built #75301 Luke's X-Wing as per the instructions, with one minor twist, inverting the guns to move the dishes forwards. Then I tried Ninjabricks/Hylian Wolf's MOC, and now I'm rolling it back closer to stock. I have kept the top cover, red engine detailing and inlet T along with the thicker body midsection to beef it up a bit. I wanted to keep the grey wing dots / detailing which meant stripping away a line of tiles to move the stickered panel in a bit closer. I also ordered a second sticker sheet from eBay, mostly to sticker the panels on the bottom wings, but I decided I may as well use the spare 8x2 white tile that was sitting on my desk, and applied the other yellow sticker to finish off the nose. All in all I feel it's not too bad as I tried to strike a balance between being true to the source eg Star Wars, but also true to the original Lego model, and I feel that a couple of tweaks were all it would have made costing mere pennies for TLG themselves to have made the model that much better out of the box.

My Tie fighters are sat on 8cm flat stands and the X-Wing is on an 8cm angled crylic stand from http://www.iDisplayit.co.uk and I believe they also ship to the USA as per your profile as well.

I also have their 4cm angled stand which I use for the Millennium Falcon, and the Slave 1 stand, and the12cm flat stand for the imperial shuttle.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like it would be about $50 after shipping for four stands. Not too terrible, but wondering if it may be cheaper to continue to do LEGO stands from Technic pieces....

Campervan from #6388. I actually started this as a MOC of #6676 but I have a police command already so thought I should do some civilian vehicles.
