That's a great set you got. Not sure what you expect to get for it since not much price info on this set. The only thing I found was this to be estimated around $8200.00.  Good luck.  @Hunter1959

You would have to wonder if that is legitimately real, with that Name mistake.....?

Well, considering how often mistakes appear on UCS plaques, maybe it's actually a sign of authenticity? ;)

Google it, all images have the same mistake. This is legit.

So, it seems I have gotten an Assembly Square off Facebook Marketplace for $80. Only thing that is visibly missing is the baseplates.

^ They started building and gave up. You might also be missing whatever they had placed on the baseplates before they bagged the rest of the loose parts. Still a great score.

It appears that everything on the baseplates is in the ziplock

Oh yeah, they were definitely initially priced at MISB rates, and wouldn't budge for a while.

    Good and bad news yesterday.

The bad news being that 31117 Space Shuttle Adventure arrived without my last coin, the Octan coin, being present in the shipping box. Lego refunded my VIP points but I'm ineligible to reclaim the Octan coin to complete the set. The the shipping box was only covered with a single piece of tape so I imagine either the warehouse team forgot to put it in, or it slipped out of the sides.

I had been signed up to stock alerts for 76239 and it sold out quickly at £34.99. When I went food shopping I managed to buy it new and unused from Tesco for £8.75! I don't know why they are clearing a recent set so quickly, and one of the new and sealed pieces was damaged, but it balanced out what started out as a disappointing day.

@AJRDLawrence my octan coin was shipped but was missing from the padded envelope almost 2 weeks ago.  Called CS and after checking with someone the associate added a key chain so the packaging would be better and go thru FedEx instead of USPS.  I got the coin Tuesday.  I suggest trying CS again.

I did as you suggested, but I tried emailing Lego instead of calling them, and I was reissued a new code, cheers. The Octan coin arrived today to complete the set, along with some Duplo for my future child and visits from my godson, and the lightbrick set to experiment with.

I'm surprised the replacement package came with no padding of any kind and still a single piece of packing tape across the middle to hold it all in - it could have quite easily worked it's way loose from the sides. Hopefully 75312 Slave 1 will be back in stock soon as that's next on my list. I could pick it up in stock from another retailer today, but as it hasn't been discounted over here, I'd rather have the points too.

Scooped up this Elf Clubhouse on eBay over the weekend for $59 shipped. It was described as incomplete since the seller couldn’t tell how many bags had been opened. (Spoiler alert: just Bags 1)

I took a chance on it after watching the ABF build video and deducing it was all there. And it was 100% complete, even the spare parts.

As a bonus, it was shipped 2200 miles in two days.

I just rescued Santa’s Workshop from a nasty 90s bulk lot. As usual, missing a handful of common parts, and no minifigures this time, but $45 for the lot was still a slick deal.

Curiously Mrs. Claus’ hair and cookies, and Santa’s sack, were present. The brick-built snowman and reindeer were bonuses.

There are some Paradisa sets in there-- I was able to cobble together most of #6416 & maybe 80% of #6411 & the watercraft from #6401. Unfortunately the smaller Paradisa sets that there are manuals for are just bits & pieces; pink beach umbrella from #6409 here, a pink chair there.

Oh I have the white 6x6 container for #6403 (used as a sandbox) but not much else of the set; it's primarily used in Fabuland-- no wonder I didnt recognize it.

Seeing lots of unique parts for #6393 Big Rig Truck Stop!!! There was a single torn page of its manual in the pile-- I should've paid more attention to that

Scored #10233 Horizon Express for $100 this week. There were only a few dozen parts missing. I was able to fill in everything from my collection, and I just need to BrickLink a few color-correct parts and one minifigure.

Bags 1 (the locomotive) were all sealed, and everything else was in brand new condition. Building a new set from 10 years ago is the closest I will ever get to time traveling.

A teeny-tiny brag: I was moaning yesterday about missing out on CMF series 22 in stores, then last night found a couple I needed for sale on FB marketplace for $2 each. A woman was selling duplicates she’d opened, the elements were still in the inner poly bag. Pepper/Toucan/Horse figs remain…

^^^ update on my Mindstorms score… I didn’t need the table and mats, so I sold them for $50. Free EV3 kit and doubled my money 😊

Walked a neighbor garage sale today.  I was amazed to see some 2014 standard OT SW sets priced above used retail.  Complete with a rather rude sign that said:

"We know what these sets are worth based on eBay and Bricklink, do not make bad offers"

I rolled my eyes and kept walking.  I like Admiral Akbar as much as anyone, but $85.00 for a used A-Wing is just nuts.

^ Yikes. I hope no one buys any of their LEGO.
And Ebay is a stupid source for prices: that's what one person was willing to pay for that item.

I saw the same at a car boot sale on saturday.

Them: "This is £150 on etsy!"
Me: "If it is not selling at £150 on the internet where there are refund policies if items are not as described or missing parts, you won't get anywhere near that in a muddy field with a couple of hundred people.
