My Jan 11th parts order has now reached six full weeks (or 31 working week days) and it has still not been dispatched. I appreciate they've been overhauling the system recently and during that period they have put the new GUI in place but, having had orders arrive within ten days before, I am scratching my head at this particularly prolonged delay.
I'm really hoping they can process this, there are parts in the order that are no longer listed for sale.
Has anyone else had a parts order from around that date delivered yet?
  • CymbelineCymbeline Member Posts: 580
My Jan 6th parts order was shipped on Feb 17 and my Jan 9th was shipped on Feb 21. I have an order placed on Jan 11 so I expect that to be shipped very soon though things might be different where you are.

I also placed a B+P order on 11th Jan (UK). Looking at the order status, it was shipped today. I haven't had the shipped email yet (those normally get sent the say after I receive the order).  So it might be worth checking the status again.

My oldest B&P order is from January 10th... I'm certain that the delays to the US are even worse than to the UK or the rest of Europe.

I got a receipt for my December 31st order on February 9th.
That order arrived on February 14th.  (5 days later)

I got a receipt for my January 3rd order on February 15th.
I got a receipt for my January 6th order on February 17th.
Neither of the January orders has arrived yet...8 and 6 days after I got the receipt.  (Presidents' Day was a couple days ago, so that might account for one of the days this shipment was delayed.)

Received my December 30th order February 15th.  My next oldest order was placed January 11th and it is still in the warehouse.🙃🤨

I placed an order around the same time. Apart from the blue forestmen hats (the main reason for the order) the rest of the contents will be a genuine surprise when it arrives. Followed shortly by "I paid how much for these few pieces? 😄"

I suspect the blue hats might also be the cause of my orders delay, but that might just be paranoia.

Similar date of initial order @Mr_Cross and still showing in warehouse for me. Hoping your shipping notification is an indication mine is heading my way soon

My January 3rd order (which shipped on February 15th) arrived today.
...which means my January 6th order (which shipped on February 17th) should hopefully arrive on Saturday.

I'm looking forward to getting that order because I honestly have no idea what's in that order.  My previous two were to get parts for a build of #6683 (modified for a taller door, modern windows, and modern cash register) and a MOC of a Nissan 350Z.  I could look at the order history and see what pieces I put in there to try to jog my memory for this third order, but I think I'll keep it a surprise.

Yeah those blue forestmen hats are not cheap. I just got a shipping confirmation from an order I placed about 1 month ago, Really expected, but man my credit card is taking a delayed beating...

I got the PAB part of my order yesterday and was charged VAT - less than $1 as that portion of the $160 order was only about $4 but very odd and wrong.  Suggest you check your orders when they come in VAT could add up quick.

I've definitely never heard of the VAT being charged for incoming PAB orders. But I've never submitted a single order above $150...so perhaps that's a threshold?
  • pxchrispxchris Member Posts: 2,438
I've never been charged VAT (or taxes of any sort for that matter, thank you Oregon) on any of my LEGO orders, be it from regular S@H, PAB, or B&P - I thought that was only a Europe thing?

I just realized tonight that these are swapped.  My January 6th order arrived on the 24th.  My January 3rd order is nowhere to be seen.  Uh oh.  I think I might need to call up Customer Service and ask if they can track it.

Wasn't USA supposed to get the combined B&P/PAB/BAM system? Did that stop, or something?
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,836

Maybe they looked at how bad wait times are for BnP and stopped it, or at least delayed it. Heck I did a paB order to get a GWP and that took 30 days to get.

Anyone hear anything about the UK and Europe rollout of the combination?  It was supposed to happen for US at end of February.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,836
Well I did notice that when I had a BnP order tonight (as some new parts came out for March that I wanted) , it was enough (and a bit surprising) to see the Goodall promo added to my cart, so it will be interesting to see if I get it as in the past BnP orders did not qualify for these GWP.

I was told a few weeks ago sometime in March.  Just put an order in for some stuff I was waiting to come back in stock before the switch occurs with possible price hikes.  It says I qualified for the Jane Goodall GWP & free shipping so it seems those features have already been applied in the U.S.

My Jan 6, 9 and 11 BnP orders are still on the way and my Jan 22, 23 orders have not yet shipped. I know that they are coming and I was warned that there would be delays so I'll just sip my wine and build with the bricks on hand and celebrate like it's my birthday when something arrives.

Turns out it wasn't lost or mis-delivered, just SUPER delayed.  To re-cap:
December 31st order, shipped February 9, arrived February 14
January 3rd order, shipped February 15, arrived March 1
January 6th order, shipped February 17, arrived February 24

Has anyone made more than one order through the new parts ordering system (pick a brick) and found issues? My first order went just fine but when I tried to do another one two days later (during the double VIP points period) all of my previous order was still in the 'bag' and anything added to it couldn't be deleted. Deleting cookies etc (the suggestion from Lego's customer support) doesn't change it (nor does using a different device, according to a fellow Lug member). I've been checking back regularly and it has been there every time but I've just checked again and now half of my last order is there. Are Lego preventing further orders while one has an order still 'in warehouse'?

Thats nothing new to me, I have had orders 'linger' in my cart after I have paid. Typically its due to having an order then being logged off, and then making a new order and logging on, then after paying the LEGO site cache kicks in and shows the order order (weird I know, but it happens).AS for the half of the order showing, that is new, but I would say contact LEGO. I know that any order I place with CS directly and it shows up as completely blank in my browser (like nothing, not showing even LEGO's page) but my orders get fulfilled none the less.

Still waiting on mine, almost 8 weeks now.  USPS seems to be holding both this part order & my Plush Spacemen from Target hostage somewhere in Colorado.  Fedex tracking info says the parts are currently in Denver.  UPS claims the Spacemen are in my local Post Office but USPS says they are awaiting the package turnover from UPS.

I just got a few of my orders shipped and received... Still waiting for anything I placed after Jan 17th. I'm just mindful it will take a while, this is going to occur the more and more people realize that they do not have to go buy a 50 dollar set if they just want a few parts from it.

Most of mine was for doing the Dragon Dance.  It is very clear now off of the pain meds how out of it I was - messed up quantities and have some surprises that don’t relate at all.  The opal panels were out of stock when I placed my order.

I've been after those printed red tiles for a while now to add to a "Christmas Village Noodle Stall" based closely off the Expanding The Lego Winter Village vol 4 book. I'll have to keep a careful eye on inventory!

The sushi and chopsticks pieces from the new Friends sets are finally back in stock, so maybe I can thread the needle a bit on my order.

Looks like the US changes are being implemented starting today. The replacement bricks is now offline.

I'm a bit peeved as I had a full bag ready to submit for an order. I had a meeting at work, signed back in, and the site is now down.

Oh well, more time to find additional parts for when it comes back online!

Great I was going to place a big order tomorrow for double points. I did place a small order on the 9th for parts I was waiting for to make the Bullitt Mustang, and some sheep. Showing in warehouse let's see how long till it ships.

I placed a big order on March 3 with separate carts in Pick a Brick and Bricks and Pieces. The PaB order came yesterday with the GWP, but it sounds like the BaP order will take a long time yet. I'm glad my apartment lease runs through the end of June, there's no way a BaP order will take four months, is there? But I better hold off on ordering a bunch of horses and soldiers to garrison 31120 until the first order comes and then probably wait until after I move, huh?

Ahh, an end of an era... Its going to be really hard to get certain parts now, as you will have far more people looking to buy, and buy a ton of, a specific part. I do understand though why LEGO did it. If you can sell someone a bag full of parts they would not have otherwise bought a whole set for, then they are still making money. I feel a bit bad for those on BL who have been selling parts as a business but it was only a matter of time before LEGO figured out it was a good business decision.I do notice some parts though have creep-ed up in price, like the sheep (which appear to be back available...for now anyway) are up to 1.89 instead of 1.80. Bunny pieces are up to 2.50 now, The horse I think may have gone down, or at least not increased much at 5.16 but prices have changed
