^ I'm an idiot. I really, really, REALLY need to learn not to mock others for misplacing LEGO. I moved my #80036 City of Lanterns so I could photograph my #75326 Boba Fett's Throne Room... and I can't find the Train Driver minifig!

"Lost a Pet Shop, found an Orthanc, lost a Helicarrier (I think?  Unless I sold or traded one to someone in the Forum somewhat recently w/o a box, but with sealed bags.), found a GBHQ, found a Pet Shop, found a QAR, lost an Imperial Flagship, found said Flagship. "
I think you found the Pet Shop? Unless you lost another one somewhere?

Fed Ex initial tracking (from Lego) is almost always wrong in my experience... My Castle in the Forest ( and other BL designer sets) were also pegged for delivery today, but now look like tomorrow or Saturday is more likely.  But hey, I've waited 7-8 months so what's a couple of days more? :-)

Yeah, that was a different Pet Shop.  Not that all Pet Shops aren't the same, but one was used, the other was new in the bags.

Originally, I had this plan to make a series of rowhouses..  Haven't quite started that yet... but that hasn't stopped me from picking up Pet Shops along the way.

    Orthanc was a nice surprise.

@KungFuKenny I've had all the Backtron 2 sets since 1991. I can even tell you where I got #6988- the Fred Meyer in Anchorage, Alaska! I had been recalled to active duty for the Army for the Gulf War, and ended up at Fort Wainwright (adjacent to Anchorage) for about a month, mid-February to mid-March 1991. Fun times! (maybe a little sarcasm, there.) 😀
I love the Blacktron 2 color scheme!

I appreciate that you have sacrificed your neighborhood of row houses for the enjoyment of all animal lovers who live in mine and who will now have somewhere to get a cat or dog. And also for the improvement of the veterinarian's business atop my Corner Garage. He'll be glad to have some new customers.

Wizards need a place for their dwellings of over-compensation.  And their minions and Uruk-Hai.

And frankly, I'm out of room because these modular never cease!  Side-note, and with another apparent modular-sized Sanctum Sanctorum on the immediate horizon, I'm not sure what to do with the three Infinity War-era ones I stashed away for a modular MOC.

Today’s status: waiting impatiently for a controller for this RC car that I found in a bulk lot.  Crossing my fingers that it works - everything else is here, the individual motors and wires are good, and the RC base is clean.

Nice!  Alaska is my favorite place on Earth - the southern region at least.  Spent a lot of time there in a past life.  Lots of trips in and out of Elmendorf.  Fun times for sure, especially in the summer months.

I just realized that I said Anchorage. I meant Fairbanks, which is approximately in the middle of Alaska. We spent one night in Anchorage (southern AK) and the temperature dropped to -35°F overnight. Most days in Fairbanks, it got close to freezing- so pretty much what I'm used to in Minnesota.

Happy to have received 2 of my 3 BDP sets. 3rd is on the way. That's very exciting. Now I just need to finish some work projects so I have a little bit more down time instead of work, eat, flop on the couch with a half dead brain, sleep, repeat...

@Modeltrainman you may need to sell instructions or sets for your railroad if it doesn’t make one of the other routes.  Dumbo was always a favorite for me I think it was was one of my first golden books.

After waiting 8 months, I finally had these arrive on my porch…

Now I have to decide which to build first!
You have to build the CitF on the right first. Not the one on the left. Build that one last.

Thanks, Lois! We'll see! I'm absolutely convinced everything happens for a reason, so I'm going to wait, pray, keep building, and see what God does! (However, I also can't sell instructions for 3 years, apparently...) That all said, I'm really hoping for IDEAS, so we can get an official Dumbo and Timothy...

I find that 'whooshing' the ships around is the best way to get rid of the dust.

And then a leaf blower. Also tests the competency of the build.

Reading Psalms, my first Akro Mils drawers came, so I put my 2x16-2x10 plates in the 16 drawer, and 6x in the 24. Now to buy more.

Arrived sometime Saturday night as the box was there Sunday morning leaning against the wall a good few feet from my front door. The build made me crazy in parts and I did not like working from the pdf instructions!

I guess the only way to describe my status today would be lazy/wasteful... I have been working on my new hogwarts build and burning through certain bricks. Rather then dig into the large unsorted bulk bins in the closet where I am sure I would have tons I have ordered all the parts in 3 separate orders now on bricklink lol. But on the plus side my castle in the forest is on the truck for delivery so I am also staring out the door window like a dog watching a squirrel.

@Speedman29 Happy Birthday, Steve! LEGO status: finished Psalms, now onto Proverbs. Put my 1x1 plates(normal and modified) into the 64 drawer cabinets, today. Now just to optimize so I buy enough, but not too many...

Ya the truck arrived and I skidded out the door in my socks, forgot it is winter, I live up north, It was -29C (-20F for others unlike us Canadians).. Totally worth it even if the fedex guy thought I was bonkers lol.

You couldn't have possibly sold some unique or high-value LEGO?

Can we guess what the item was?

My money is on... an antique Cattle and Hog Powder Barrel.
Or a 1990 Subaru Legacy (low milage).

Side note - I don't recall Pawn Stars ever featuring a LEGO product.

And as I recall, their vintage or valuable toy selection was pretty lacking the last time I was there.
