@Cymbeline Ha! Yes, absolutely right. I have that set on my "wanted list" already, partly because of that new colour. The squirrels and other bits and bobs will be an added bonus. :-)
My problem then will be the lack of room in my bicycle parking bay! I think I may just be able to squeeze this one additional one in, but that'll be all, I think! ;-)

Edited to add: Why couldn't they make a nice Dark Blue bicycle though? We already have two Yellow ones.

@JudgeChuck I now realise how far behind I am with my bicycle collection!

@Speedman29 Thankfully, it's not a huge collection of colours! I've only really done this for a small number of categories: Classic-style Spacemen, bicycles, those Rock 1 x 1 Jewel 24 Facet and, most recently, 1x1 tiles.
I just have two more of the non-ultra-rare-probably-prototypes-or-similar 1x1 tiles to collect and that'll be another small collection to tick off.
After that, I'll need to decide on what to do next. Actually, thinking about it, I ought to finish my Crab, Scorpion, Frog and Fish collections. Need one of each, except for the Scorpion, of which I need 3, so a bit of work to do there. :-)

@Mr_Cross Is that the new #71032-11 Space Creature CMF with the arms replaced, or something else?

I suspect it was from the CMF…

Yup! it was from the CMF... arms, hands, head, legs are all replaced pretty easily. The helmet is the problem, very rare and only available in the Danju minifigure, if you are buying that whole figure, beware of the alternate version with a dbg helmet!

I promptly went to Bricklink to get this figure but the only ones in the US start at $38 apiece! I guess I’ll cross my fingers that Lego will come out with an official version sometime soon…

Yeah, Checked those helmet prices on BL. Im sure those helmets were not cheap before, but now thanks to this torso, Im sure many bumped up their prices accordingly on BL

I managed to get a couple of used ones, and prices started at about 35p at that time. With none in the UK though (this was mid November) I had to import from Europe, adding postage from the cheapest seller worked out at about £2 per helmet. Sadly one of those got damaged in transit and the next one cost more like £5.

Luckily its not a new colour. Its another Bright Yellow, the only other set you could get it from was a 24yr old system set with a postman on a bike. Was lucky to pick one up really cheap on eBay.

After an epic wait of nearly two months. My BnP order arrived including two bicycles I needed. Just the old pink one from the cycle races series.
I like to add unusual riders with accessories that sort of match the colour of the frame. Picked up a printed tin of Spam to go on the back of Lester's red bike!
Nice I was looking to get all the colors of bicycles to go with the everything is awesome set, but I don’t think they are available in all the necessary colors.

Just ask the factory to do a run of Vibrant yellow Darth Vader mini figs… it’s pretty much get your minifigure colour to order now with ‘prototype’ minifigs in all colours all over the place!

Tbh it is getting out of hand now. The transparent colours were one thing, but then with glitters and now satins... it's getting silly.

I've said before that if Lego really wanted to put a stop to it they could, and I honestly wish they would.

It is only silly for the people that buy into it. I still collect monochrome figures but only those with parts available in retail sets. It means I try to avoid looking at many collections now though, as people say this and that are available when in reality they are just the bootleg parts made for collectors willing to pay a high price.  The collectors wanting to have parts made for them are also responsible for the illegitimate market, just as much as the people making them.

Of course things still pop up on forums and Flickr, such as ...

If people like owning that sort of thing, then good for them and keep asking and paying for bootleg parts. But I see it and think so what, you've paid a high price to have a common licensed part illegitimately made in multiple colours. There is no skill or effort here, no monitoring parts availabilities and hunting for sellers with them, it is just paying high prices to have whatever you want made. A little while ago I read some of the bootleggers are also promising exclusivity in colours/parts, whatever next?

I think I read a post a couple of months ago where someone said they were after marbled parts, so you are probably correct. At least they won't be in the monochrome threads though!

Yeah, I'm up to about 40 'official LEGO part' monochromes now, just waiting for a couple of parts to be made by LEGO to finish another two..

Here's all my current complete monochrome minifigs. The gap is for Yellowish Green, which will shortly become completeable :)

First time seeing your monochrome minifigs collection I was in awe and impressed.  After reading comments from @CCC and @madforLEGO I am wondering if any of your monochrome minifigs collection pieces are not official LEGO pieces?  It would be disappointing if so.

Took a trip to the Lego store today, managed to pick up the new Bricksuit minifigure from BaM to add to my collection. Just need a head in dark turquoise/teal for the 4th one but don’t want to pay silly prices on BL, hopefully it will be included in a set soon!

They made such weird choices for colours. Too many blues but no yellow yet.

I've been working on the new house assembling furniture, putting up curtain rails, coat racks etc whilst they were in my pocket! Need to put up the minifig display cabinets then give them a wipe down before they go into their new home!

Indeed, I hope so as more variety would look better displayed...
