Emmett was an easy add as it's just two rock panels with space between. I put one in place, then positioned Emmett, and then put the last in place. Now he's trapped!
You can see a few of the mentioned edits too.
IMHO the Eggnogery could be an official Lego-set, it's just so good IRL. The renders/pics on Inklings site don't do it justice.
Did MOD the FH-MOC to suit 2 firetrucks.
Keeps biting me in the *ss how hard it is to get sloped roofs to fix properly (and stay fixed, especially when my boys (4 and 6) play with it).
Really would like to move to a large table, but unsure where to put it in our living room. Thinking of procuring more 32x32 white baseplates for the top level of the set up; just to give me more sure-footed place to put things (and minifigs, accessoires) on.
Might also add a v2.0 of the skating rink I did a couple of years ago (with very limited pieces because just awoken from my Dark Age) if I can find a space - will post when working.
Your ice sculpting really looks neat, and the Emmet-feature certainly adds some funny coolness to it!
Like with the wreath last year, it’s far too short of an availability window, IMO! I was able to get 2 wreaths last year, thankfully, but I stupidly waited on Santa’s Sleigh. Oh well. It’s not marked for retirement, so I expect it back at some point next year. I’ll get it as soon as that happens.
The good news: he said they have a ton of Santa’s Visit.
thanks!
Sorry I just played the video and will try! Thanks @Fizyx
Actually, stupid on my part to not include the link to the JKBrickworks page that actually has the instructions as well as a parts list. It can be found here: https://jkbrickworks.com/galloping-reindeer-modification/#more-1968
These layouts look like so much fun - I must resist embarking on a new collection theme - but it would mean Winter Village and Train. The projects with lighting are particularly great - love to pore over all these photos.
I have a few more I'll upload soon.
Some of them look amazing, and I think it'd be great to have them clearly highlighted for anyone who stumbles on this thread--and maybe for myself in the future! :)
Unrelated comment: I built Santa's Visit over the weekend. It has a bigger footprint than I expected. The spot I had left for it was barely big enough. I actually had to move my Fire Station over a little to make room for the tree and gifts.

From this book of Charles Pritchett https://www.amazon.nl/Expanding-Lego-Winter-Village-Christmas-ebook/dp/B08BQMM8VC/ref=sr_1_3?__mk_nl_NL=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=KV002IYSVQAZ&keywords=charles+pritchett+expanding+the+winter+village&qid=1639582248&sprefix=charles+prit,aps,176&sr=8-3 I build the Village Grocer:
as well as the Tree Stand, Hot Dog Market Stand (below). Out of Volume 2 of Charles' books I build the Meet Santa-vignette and based my little bridge on the one in there as well:
Oh, and the MOC for the HP-set: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-85564/Brickwood Creations/winter-village-old-inn-76388/#details
Have fun!
I think my favorite so far is the Eggnoggery! Looks like some lovely trim and detail work on the facade!
(minifigures included for scale)
Hopefully have a proper display next year!

@Switchfoot55 that is an epic display, oh to have that sort of space to lay it all out.
Wishing everybody a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
That said, I have decided that I would like to add several brick-built trees to my layout. The deciduous tree in Santa's Visit was certainly an inspiration. And, being from the Northwest region of the US, and having just received a healthy dusting of snow, the snow laden evergreens have also sparked my imagination.
Does anyone have any brick-built trees (snow covered/colored or otherwise) they would be willing to share a design for? Or, has anyone seen any great versions of wintery trees out there and could point me in a good direction? I can then add some pieces to my "Always Want" Bricklink wanted list as well as my target list for visits to PAB or Bricks and Minifigs.
I hope everyone has been enjoying their villages!
@Switchfoot55 here is a nice looking one found first on Pinterest

Might be a fun alt or worth another purchase to add in to anyone's village!
Edit - a more direct route ($12 for the instructions...) https://thebrickstop.gumroad.com/
76407 is nice as it includes the Whomping Willow (something that I feel could be a nice addition if "wintered" up a bit) as well as some great minifigs. However, at $90, it's not quite as budget friendly. And, for only 777 pieces, not the greatest price per part.
#76388 would obviously give me repeat minifigs (which could be sold on to help reduce the out of pocket costs) along with some repeat parts/stickers. However, I think I actually prefer the design of The Brick Stop's alt build to that of the official set. It's not all that much cheaper at $80 full price, but I do feel I could likely find it for less in the coming months. And, looking at the minimum prices for new minifigs from this set, I feel I could offset things by around $20-$25.
Time will tell. If I see another Hogsmeade Village pop up for the right price, I'll definitely snag it and go that direction.
In other news, as I'm on a bit of a building break due to the upcoming move, and a bit of a buying break due to the upcoming move, I decided to start sorting through my spare parts for a few more small additions to the village. Namely a new Noodle Stall and Hot Dog stand from the Expanding The Lego Winter Village book series. I have about 70% of both already. Hoping maybe a trip to the Bricks & Minifigs bulk tables could knock out most of what I'm missing as they're fairly common parts.
The WV is never far from my mind!
