Today I decided to go over all my recent orders from S@H and noticed that I should have received the Fab 5 (Santa's Visit is still waiting for new stock) in the same box as the Create Together one. Problem is I don't remember seeing it and can't seem to find it anywhere, even after checking all my storage places.
I was about to reach out to LEGO customer service, but decided to back my claim by getting the package weight from Fedex's tracking info to show that the set couldn't possibly have been there. Except that Fedex shows a 4+ kg weight and Create Together is under 2kg. Even with the freebies and packaging, it doesn't add up to 4kg - unless Fab 5 was indeed in there.
None of the boxes seemed to have been opened and I think I would have noticed if one had a lot of room left. Besides, I don't believe a porch pirate would have gone through the trouble of carefully opening a box, stealing only one set and taping it back.
Any ideas of what might explain this? Should I contact LEGO anyway?
Long story short, I am in fact missing an entire box that Fedex has marked as delivered. Now this could have been a Fedex mix up, or it could have been taken by a porch pirate - it would be a first for me, but it is possible. I've contacted LEGO to see what they say - I'm pretty sure Fedex would just reply "too bad, you took the risk by releasing the signature"
Not sure on this. I know it expires as I bought something I think 6 months after a previous purchase and it did not get cancelled. I'm just worried that if that happens too much LEGO just cancels my account or something like that (plus Im worried about losing prom and VIP reward codes if I have an order cancelled) so Im not one to test out how long the limit lasts.
They should prevent products from adding to your cart if you are over a purchasing limit. Instead, they leave it a mystery until they cancel your order (which may include other products you are not over the limit on).
Even having an official written policy on if and when purchasing limits are reset would be better than what we have.
[frustrated rant over]
At LEGO.com, I have bought two of a set (limit 2) and then bought 2 of the same the same set later without issue (no banning, no cancellation of the order). It may have been a lifetime limit in the past (and maybe it still is with certain in demand sets), but I have seen what appears to be a reset of the limit. I just do not know what the 'time out' is.
(They've also had AT-ATs every single time, Wreaths, Santa's Sleigh, Santa's Visit, and just about every other hard to find set that I've been hearing about recently)
Some. Most say coming soon.
Cashed in my four $5 VIP thingies that I got discounted on Black Friday or whatever. 8 CMFs coming my way. Bit frustrated over the lack of promotion calendar and the kerfluffle over the availability (or lack thereof) of the new Lego store promotional set.
Sorry, the new mod. The Boutique hotel... Not sure why I keep calling it museum
edit: It’s now showing up again but as coming soon. I was able to get the other Chinese New Year set…
