New sales were nothing much but 20% off Central Park continues
Saw the new advent calendar sets already. It's freaking September 13th!

The scary thing is that they could sell out by end of October

I'd assume Walmart will have 8-12 of each.  Everyone was scrambling for the Harry Potter last year and each WM around here received 15-18..and had tons left over after the winter clearance.  I saw 2 at Kohls last week on clearance for $23.xx still.

Looks like Target will be starting their spend $50 on select LEGO sets get a $10 gift card deal on Sunday 9/26.  Will be curious to see if they raise their prices back to rrp on the sets that they have been selling at a discount recently.

Was thinking about what to get for the 10 off 50 deal myself

#41393 is still on sale online, #31104 online and instore though different sale prices

Target has a separate deal where I get $30 back with 4 $60 purchases, which has stacked with the non giftcard portion of a non-LEGO deal and has included LEGO before

So that means I wasn't so worried about going barely over $50 but ended up doing that anyway. 31104 for my LEGO food collection, #41933 for my LEGO music collection, #60279 because I wanted a small vehicle set for a young boy gift

#76392 Harry Potter chess set is included in the giftcard deal ... my main complaint is that the knight and castle/rook look too similar; often gimmick chess sets LEGO or not have confusing piece design. I MOCed a minimalist LEGO chess set awhile ago but have periodically thought about buying a predesigned one

#41934 Starlight DOTS bracelet is included, I might get those pieces for an outer space themed build

    #76200 is a possibility

#31109 Pirate Ship is included,  #31120 Medieval Castle is not but I might just look for deals on the latter now that I know about it

They definitely have changed a lot of sets back up to RRP.

#71031 Marvel CMFs on a rack near checkout, scanned for $4.99
I don't have an ID guide or my scale handy, I may go back with those some other day

#41938 is a set I saw before but giving it a 2nd look, 1x1 round tiles with letters on them are an interesting part

A few 20% Creator and HP sales also Ideas ISS

I received my #76393 set today and was disappointed to find all four seals on the Lego box were undone with the bags of pieces loose within the outer shipping box from Target.  The Target shipping box was pristine with no signs of mishandling.  Does anyone know how many bags are supposed to be in the set?  I received 12 bags of pieces total (2x#1, 2x#2, 1x#3, 1x#4, 2x#5, 2x#6, 1x#7, 1x#8), one bag with Harry’s cloth cape, and one bag with two instruction books.

@gt7319c - looking at the pic i took of my set, looks like all contents are accounted for.  Same number of bags in mine.  Hope that helps.

My came in exact same condition and yes, those are all the bag.  I have to admit I enjoyed the builds and they reflect the minifigure very well.

Another $50 of certain sets $10 GC deal

    Might get #76200 this time
Also #75967 is included and on sale for $23.99, might go well with a $29.99 to reach $50 without going too far over

#43189 and #43186 are included without too much of a Disney tax

#30332 is not included but I rarely recall seeing other DUPLO polybags outside of LEGO retail promos

I found #30388 (Imperial Shuttle polybag) on an endcap shelf near the Hot Wheels today at a Target in central Massachusetts.  (Thrown in there with a couple others and some non-Lego toys.  Not sure where it was supposed to be on display.)  The Brickset page indicates it was a Lego brand GWP back in May and spotted at a random Target in Colorado in September.  I figured I'd never find one...until today.

Yeah, it was an in-store-only May the 4th promo and the only reason I actually lined up at a store instead of ordering from [email protected]  But I do remember there were quite a few people in the polybag thread mentioning they found them at Walmart and/or Target before May, as well.  By May the 4th, it never showed up at my local Targets/Walmart so I thought my only option was to go to the Lego store for the promo.  Seems like it's becoming very widespread now, so it's a bit of a curiosity on how/why those other stores got them so early.  In hindsight, part of me wishes I waited for it to show up but who would've known.

The "LEGO Collection X Target" line of products is now available to view online for those who were wondering what the products were going to be.

    https://www.target.com/c/lego-collection-x-target/-/N-dknpi

There's a few interesting looking things in the collection I think.

That link doesn’t work. It might rely on your login. I copied the URL that works in my browser and it looks similar but slightly different.

The only 20% off set that might interest me is #31118

The only Lego x Target collection item I might want is the classic space minifig plush

#30392 and #30570 new on the polybag rack

I was a bit surprise at Target today that #75304 Darth Vadar helmet $55 and #76199 Carnage $47  and #10289 Bird of Paradise $79 were on sale.  I normally don't go for 20% off sets but it's the 1rst decent discount I've seen on those.  Plus 5% red card.

Thanks @scotty12 :) Got my #10289 BofP today!
The City section especially looked pretty sparse today at Edina. Looks like people are heeding the advice to buy early for Christmas.

Saw preview of next week's ad.  0n the front page they show 40% off select Lego sets.  Further in on another page they show up to 30% off select sets.  Funny thing is they show the Friends Beach House on both pages

@Astrobricks I need to thank you as well.  I was going to possibly wait until LEGO 2x pts this weekend...if there wasn't anything else.  After you said you purchased #10289, I looked again and realized you'd only receive 1,300pts ($10) from LEGO with double points and decided to take the $20+ off from Target.

    sales included:
#41677 Forest Waterfall 20%. I might eventually use that for an outdoors scene, might use it for a girly-LEGO gift
#75940 Gallimimus and Pteranodon Breakout 30%. someone on my gift list likes dinosaurs

#76383 Hogwarts Moment: Potions Class 20%
#76382 the Transfiguration one is also 20% off but I already have that.
The Herbology one, #76384, was not on the shelves but I got a deal on it there before
Would like to get #76385 Charms somewhere to complete the set

LEGO shelves already half empty at the Target near me (address is Medley Center Parkway, it's towards the Goodman St end of the old Irondequoit Mall complex)

IF you're planning on taking advantage of any of the Target deals, I suggest doing so soon, as the list of in stock items went from 7 pages to 6 pages in the short time I was looking at them from about 11:45-12:00 Pacific Time... and I missed out on the 30% off on the Sith and Iron man Art sets -.-

Looking at the site 11 hours later, it did the same thing - went from 7 pages to 6. I think that might just be a web site glitch. But the advice to act soon is still good!

had a target circle bonus offer $15 back with 4 $55 purchases that ended on the 22nd (since they count Central Time being headquarted in MN that meant 12:59 AM on the 23rd for me)
a lot of things I might've gotten in store were out of stock there and same for the website, also applies to non-LEGO items I would've included to have just enough

I'm puzzled, no pun intended, as to why Target has their exclusive LEGO puzzles 50% when you can't pre-ordered them and they're not available until Dec. 4th.

I actually happened to be shopping for jigsaw puzzles for someone and noticed a lot of their puzzles were half off.  I imagine the Lego puzzles fall under the same categories in their inventory system so they automatically got the discount since their product pages are live, even if you can't order them.

Noticed an anti-deal today. Lots of #76394 Fawkes warming the shelves at $48.49, $8.50 over RRP. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s currently $58 on Amazon and backordered at Lego.com.

Target website has that as well, so it's not a goof at an individual store level. (for instance sometimes the item shelved in a location does not match the shelf tag)

Also, #76901 Speed Champions Toyota GR Supra is one of the 20% off sets. this week. I bought one because I was looking for stereotypical boy stuff for the gift pile, needed $15.05 more for a Target app deal [the rest was non-LEGO] and $15.99 is quite close, and that many parts (even small ones) plus a minifig is a decent price to begin with.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,480
^ I always find the correct shelf tag and/or scan with the app. The section was rather disorganized as they had filled in empty shelf space with the sets they actually have in stock.

#10267 will be at $99.99 on Sun 12/5 as per the Target flyer. I guess they are trying to time the product roll out to the LEGO x Target collection.
