I REALLY want to see more of that box.  I refuse to believe the movie title is the only thing that's messed up.

Good job I'm not a box guy. This eBay purchase arrived wrapped in bubble wrap with the label stuck on the bubble wrap, and the bubble wrap taped to the box... Did wonder why it was reduced...

This must be a rare Dinomite piece not the regular Dynamite piece. It doesn't look like the Dinomite Pokemon character.

That price is totally justified... the piece is from the unreleased and exceedingly rare #60278 Crook’s Hideout Raid (also known as the Dynamite Factory that Never Was).  I’ll be making an offer on it soon...

Think of them as Macy's Thanksgiving Parade baloons on the Titanic :)

Not ridiculous, just funny.  Given the way the fig is posed and the expression on its face, the first thought was that he's sitting on a toilet!

Yeah but you'll want it to arrive in pristine condition, I'm happy to pay $10 for proper packaging.

Imagine if it turned up creased! You'd be devastated.

It's in the picture, you should totally expect it to be provided. Strictly speaking, listings are wysiwyg, if it isn't included, you could ask for it to be forwarded on to you or to get a partial refund. Ebay would definitely side with you, that's the beauty of the money back guarantee!
    ;-)
  • jason1976jason1976 LondonMember Posts: 264
My best guess was a squashed chocolate biscuit, but it was something I'm trying not to think about too much.....

@Mr_Cross if that's the case I'm glad the ebay emails about the auction ending soon went astray, wouldn't want to open up some Lego and find that!

To me, it looks like some light purple fake gemstone or jelly, surrounded by a gold-coloured something-or-other.
It doesn't look like dog/cat excreta, unless cats do something really weird that I am completely unaware of!
Either way, that is one of the oddest things I've seen in a long time!
@jason1976 Please email the seller and ask him WTF that is! I'm going to die confused, unless this is resolved! :-D ;-)

This auction seems very ridiculously priced, and many folks think that this is a fake... but it is the real thing... a 1985 chromed Castle minfigure... produced for the 25th Anniversary of LEGO introduced in the UK (via British LEGO Ltd.) in January 1960.

The Ebay seller got the date wrong, it was 1985, not 1988.  But he did get one thing right... this figure is rarer than Mr. Gold, since only attendees of that Anniversary celebration soiree got this special minifig, with many parts chromed.

My own image of a set of 4 of the anniversary glasses (without their minifigs)...

I can see why. The base looks like it was spray painted with chrome spray paint!
