Winnie the Pooh finally became available (after several months of waiting), so I grabbed that (plus a couple of Brickheadz I was missing) this evening…

I just ordered a nice used #10260 Downtown Diner, and I'm waiting by the door for the next three days until it arrives. I had one briefly last year and sold it for good reason, but I've been missing it.

Just submitted BL, PAB, and BNP orders for about 2500 pieces (and one Reindeer for good measure). "Single" largest parts order I've ever submitted. A bit anxious to see how it all turns out.

This will help me finish the following:

WV MOC - Pictures with Santa by MonsterBricks
WV MOC - Cider Mill by HumbleBricks
    Train Ballast for my WV

    And progress toward finishing:

    #7722 (Steam Cargo Train)
    #10026 (UCS Naboo Starfighter)

Then various other odds and ends that caught my eye as I was filling up shopping carts.

Brickmonster was a massive help as I coordinated three BL carts, BNP, and PAB. I still relied pretty heavily on my Excel spreadsheet, but the added resource was a nice addition.

My birthday was this last Sunday and, as my wife knows I rather deal hunt for LEGO than just have her buy me a set, I ended up getting cash. My wife hates it, but it makes shopping trips like this easier on my mind and the budget.

Just waiting for the WV set to be announced/released, and will grab that, Hogsmead Village, the Vader Helmet, a new BH or two, and probably the Fawkes model to round things out. Then I'll try to convince myself these are the "last LEGO purchases of the year." I've expressed it before, but I tend to end up feeling guilty when I buy LEGO for myself in November and December. So, trying to avoid that this year and just enjoy!

Now to wait for parts orders to arrive in 5-7 weeks from Denmark!

Copying my comment on the recent Mario Series 3 review:
There were still a fair number of Series 2 packs left at Toys "R" Us when I checked on Tuesday, and the cashier gave me a pair of disposable gloves and permission to hunt. Managed to snag that Poison Mushroom... as well as a Huckit Crab, complete spur of the moment, much harder to isolate for sure. I thought the placement of the blind bags right in front of the counter was a deterrent, but all I had to do was ask.

Later I also went ahead and ordered Blooper and Urchin of Series 1 from a Hong Kong BrickLink seller, along with a few of a specific part not found locally. Only a couple of dollars more than RRP per character, which isn't terrible I guess. I'll be placing a few more small local orders as well.

Side note, kinda annoying (no fault to the seller) that some parts I need show up only a few days or weeks after an order has finalized so I have to place another and pay shipping again.

I don't know how my boss would respond to this... Being I am in the Canadian Army I feel like it would lead to a lot of physical training and punishment lol.

Thanks for the heads-up, got that and the hip hop car at ~50% off on Amazon.pl. That concludes my Vidiyo buys forever.

I picked up #75319 The Armorer's Mandalorian Forge at Target. I had a $20 gift card from work, so that helped get the price down. Adding it to the backlog of sets I haven't built yet.

    These arrived…

I’ve been waiting for Winnie the Pooh to become available again for several months now, and I’m happy to finally have it in hand…
It's such a fun set to build! You'll enjoy it immensely I think!

Still full price on Amazon.com... grr, why is the US so intent on selling Vidiyo at full price?

Amazon US has been extremely stagnant the last year or so. UK and DE have had significantly better sales on Lego of all themes.

I went to the LEGO store for #10277 Crocodile Locomotive and #60205 Tracks, then to Target for groceries... and #60205 was on sale for $16.39. Grr! I'm not going to return it to the LEGO store and buy at Target, that's way too much time and gasoline, but it's annoying!

I haven't submitted the order yet. But the missing parts that would only cost a couple of bucks will inevitably become an order over $35 to ensure free shipping.

Just not sure how I missed 35 1x2 DBG Masonry Bricks in my previous orders. The other two make sense as one wasn't on my list at all, and the other should have been an order containing 3, but only had 2 (my mistake, not the seller). But those masonry bricks.....

Thank you very much pxchris and KungFuKenny - that @#$%$#$ song is now playing a continuous loop in my head. When the song was first mentioned the words and melody immediately played in my head but like a fool I clicked on the link as well and now the puppet voices are driving me insane - believe me it wasn't far to drive!

Last week was a school holiday week here and LEGO City, Classic, Creator 3-in-1, Duplo, Friends and Ninjago were having a buy 2 get 1 deal. So I got 3x #11013 Creative Transparent Bricks to build, among other things, a vase for my #40461 Tulips, and 3x #31111 Cyber Drone making a total of 4 of that set. Not entirely sure what I'll do with the 4 robot minifigures yet but as an owner of #4508 Titan XP they're a pretty exciting addition to the parts.
Also got #41939 Bag Tag Dragon to go with my Narwhal, #41910 Ice Cream Besties Bracelets for the prints, and #60238 Switch Tracks through a different deal. I don't have the space to use switches yet but I've always wanted to try them out.
Oh and I got a new ASUS ProArt monitor because my Dell UltraSharp gave out after an amazing nearly 7-year run. Would've gotten another Dell but the current ones were much more expensive for similar specs. Always good to save money I can put into video games and more LEGO sets.

I was able to snag a #75304 Vader's Helmet for $45 yesterday from a local seller. Box isn't in the best condition, hence the price. But I'm excited to have this one scratched off the Wanted List!

Just had my first of three BnP/PAB orders arrive. It was almost exclusively parts for my train ballast. Lots of white, black, DBG, LBG round/standard 1x1 plates. Also, 200 1x1 Reddish Brown tiles and 158 1x4 Reddish Brown tiles.

Every item ended up having a ton of extras. The fewest extras were 1x1 white plates with 3 above the ordered quantity. Most had between 5-15 additional parts. The biggest win was my 1x4 tiles that ended up having 26 extra above my ordered quantity! I feel like I won a mini lottery with parts. I assume it was packaged by weight as the time savings wasn't worth counting out 500 different elements. Make sure it meets the minimum weight, and move on to the next part.

Perhaps the most dangerous part I ordered was a single Reindeer. I told myself I only needed one more. But, seeing it in person all along has me reconsidering! If the Santa's Sleigh set is indeed true, this would put me at six total. I see no reason why I shouldn't have 2-3 more?

...back to [email protected] I guess!

Decided not to play it risky this year and pulled the trigger on Santa's Visit.

I also added the Tuk Tuk set and La Catrina BHz in addition to a BnP order with a couple more Reindeer. (Knew I couldn't leave it at just 1 more)

Finally used some VIP points too, so Santa's Visit is on LEGO this year!

Likewise, decided to get on and order some Christmassy things including obviously Santa's Visit. For some reason added the blue Fiat thingy to get the order up to get the Dickens GWP that I already have.
Slightly annoyed with myself to be honest.

Now I'm off to try and source the SW Advent calendar.

I ordered Santa's Visit yesterday and will order the sleigh on Oct 1.  I really wish TLG would have made them available at the same time.  Other than that, I'm buying lots of plates and bricks so I can build MILs modules using the new road plates.

Finally had my Pick a Brick pieces arrive 5 weeks after ordering them. Apparently they were "stuck in customs" for an extended period of time.

Unfortunately, I continue to wait for my Santa's Visit to arrive. Ordered on 9/16. Anticipated delivery per the website was 9/23. That's come and gone with no update. I've noticed this several times lately with [email protected] orders getting to the Pacific Northwest. They tend to linger for much longer than other regions I read about.

My Santa's Visit got here quickly.  I'm still waiting on a Bricks n Pieces order though.  Those have been taking about 5 weeks this year.
