I was able to be the first to jump on a #43179 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, sealed in the box, for $80. The lady said someone gave it to her and she just hasn't built it, so reselling.

This is definitely a set that I decided I'd never own as I couldn't bring myself to pay full retail. I was giddy the whole ride home!

HP Hogwarts game (complete but was sold as unchecked), £4.00.

But even better last week i got a #60118 Garbage truck for 50p. Sold as incomplete, it was missing just 2 1x1 round plates but included #60053 race car and #60011 rally car inside the box. There was also a knock off small police boat. I donated the police boat the next day, and it appeared on the shelves at £2.50! Crazy random pricing.

Star Wars planets, Death Star and Tatooine, both sealed. £7 the pair. The strange thing was every other item the guy was selling was way overpriced, maybe he didn't know what these are.

^^^ nothing in the collection was complete, which was a real bummer, but it was fun sorting through and seeing parts of the sets I lusted after as a kid in the 90s. Ended up keeping a small handful of unique parts and selling the rest as a bulk lot.

On a tangential note... You don't happen to have a BL store called Stray Bricks do you? I just saw some tasty Pirate stuff pop up from that store. ;-) LOL

I think we call that - either pleading the '1x5th' or the '2x3rd'.

(I know, the second one makes no sense, but LEGO really doesn't make 1x5s, other than UniKitty faces.)

I'd gladly send it over, unfortunately this was the one Black Falcons set I was still missing (ok, not counting the rerelease), so uhm, next time? ;-)

    Gave back?!
Initially he "loaned" me all the sets to peruse/consider & I organized/priced them for him. Of course my wife butt(ed?) in & restricted the sets I COULD buy, so my final list was heavily cut back.

Though I am finding some treasures in that "assd. Technic" batch...3 Tiny Turbos, parts of #8230 Coastal Cop Buggy (I prefer the alternate name Miami  Police Patrol 😎👍)

You have to get that wife of yours under control! Tell her you will have all the Lego! Don't ever let her get in the way of your obsessions... P.S. don't let my wife see this or I won't be allowed to buy lego for a year and be sleeping in the garage...  =)  Seriously though I am thankful for mine, if she didn't reign me in we would be living in an alley surrounded by lego lol.
And? I don't see a problem with that.

How big is your garage?  Does it have its own storage, A/C, a fridge and a couch?  Is there a WiFi connection or a LAN?

I can move into our 6x10' shed out back, run an outdoor extension cord off the back deck outlet connected to a 5 or 6 port power strip, & I'm all set. In fact she's been ordering food & dinners via delivery & I'm considering using the interior packaging to insulate the shed walls for our bitterly cold Minnesota winters 🌬🌨☃️🧊

Bag of 12V track I purchased last week arrived today and I was quite surprised to find a red stowaway there:
I like surprises like these :-)

I love those jumbo bricks. I was able to buy a single yellow one from a new closed thrift shop in Billund.

Seems odd to open a new closed thrift shop 🤔

I have a local fb seller offering the following star wars sets:
    #75084 wookie gunship
    #75214 anakins fighter
    #75140 resistance transport (with instr)
    #75022 mandalorian speeder

Initially looking £100, but is taking £75. No boxes for any.

Is this a good deal? It seems OK to me, but I'm not an expert! I see that some of those sets have unique minifigs, the mechanical darth maul seems to go around £10 on its own.

    Should I go for it?

This isn’t really a brag so it’s out of place here. But additionally, we tend to discourage “make up my mind for me” postings because the factors involved are so different for each person.

Picked up a little bag of minifigures last night for $10. Looks like they never got played with. SPC063 is incorrect, should be SP006.

I always find a coin. Not coins plural - there is always exactly one coin in every collection I buy. Usually a penny, but on rare occasion it’s a dime.

Spidey wasn't in there. He must have parked his car and then forgotten where he parked it.
