However:
Cost of LEGO cow - approx cost £17 (irrespective of relative exorbitance) arriving tomorrow!
Cost of new computer to run Studio on (because my archaic iMac can't run it or any other meaningful LEGO software anymore - dagnabbit) - approx minimum cost £450? and I have been procrastinating about buying one for a multitude of reasons for over nine months now.
I'm seriously asking myself if this is the limit...

I realized as I was going through my storage that I have a lot more in my backlog to build than I thought. to the point that I was also cleaning my car and found a smaller set and about 12 CMF bags tucked away in the center console that I have no memory of buying. Not sure if that's a positive or a negative? I think I'll plan on bringing at least a decent amount of the backlog with me to the rental to have something to build.
As I was going through things, I pulled pretty much everything out to sort and reorganize. Thankfully my wife didn't walk in...otherwise my status update may have been very different...
The complete set of 1990 LEGO Pirates storybooks from Ladybird Books in the UK! They go perfectly with The Golden Medallion comic.
What I love about them is that they're basically a continuation of The Golden Medallion comic including even somewhat similar art. I've always loved the comic, so I knew that I eventually would need to add these to the collection. That I was able to find them at such a reasonable price from a UK bookseller, and that I was able to buy the complete set at one time was just thrilling.
As many of you know from my previous ramblings, I am planning on displaying a large layout of the original wave of Pirates at our convention next year, so all of this ephemera serves a larger purpose than just my own collecting habits. Things like these books will add quite a bit of flavor I feel.
I also love the bios that are at the beginning of each book.
(Obviously I have never read these books and I am just completely guessing the plot)
Honestly assumed I'd somehow got some knock-off LPG0 or something for a while, but nope, it's real. I don't know if I like it or not....
Are there are any other minifigs with long legs? I think Jessie did, but were there any outside of Toy Story or is that it?
Today I found a stash of Mixels. I forgot how good Mixels were. Such a fun theme, although how they got a whole 9 Series out of it is a bit baffling, looks like I lost interest around Series 6.
#offtopic - my apologies
Having cows come back into the product portfolio would be nice though! Especially the black and white one. I have a brown one only.
I need more space!
What hasn't been helping is my recent-ish addiction to BenBuildsLego's skylines. I recently completed his Jurassic Park one and just last night completed Neuschwanstein Castle! (I'll post pics of that elsewhere shortly)
