This weekends random purchases. Like the little robot character so felt one up pending my full set arriving. Picked the Vidiyo character at random. Both in local toy shop. Then saw the book in Waterstones and thought why not at that price. Might even try some animation at some point.

No big purchases made since Elf Club House but suspect Friends Apartments might be incoming for imminent birthday. Foresee potential floodgates moment.

I couldn't say as the meatballs don't last long enough to still be uneaten by the time the boxes are assembled!

Would be nice if one could actually order all the Bygglek online.  No Ikea nearby and the only set they will ship for an additional fee is the Building set so until the Storage boxes become available to order & ship online I shall remain Bygglek-less.

Just ordered the creator flowers from Amazon with 30% off. Not being delivered for 10 days, but I'm happy to wait.

EIA, Batmobile and an Iron Monger. My son wanted Water Dragon and Crocodile... it was a bigger order than I was planning!

Sat up until midnight to pick up a couple of Everyone Is Awesome sets.  It says something about my expectations when I was pleased that I 'only' had to queue for a couple of minutes to get onto the site, and then the checkout process actually worked first time!

Had some of the new stuff added to My Bag early this morning, all ready to Checkout when my bank's new authentication process stopped the card being accepted. Only just off the phone with the bank and it's a 48 hour wait to buy the monofigs, sheep and Not-Simba sets. Ah well.

We can't even think about buying the sheep and not-Simba sets here in the US for ANOTHER TWO MONTHS!!

I also ordered Everyone Is Awesome and classic Batmobile, seems like a popular combination today, and submitted the code for the VIP Coin. I got in late, do the Batmobile is on backorder.

I try to open sets whenever I can squeeze out more space in the house. As you can see from the display cabinet in the back, I collect other toys as well.

Finally grabbed the Orange Spaceman book as I don't want to keep putting it off and have to pay aftermarket prices for it.

@lowlead, the force is strong with those Tikis! I really need to stay away as one is never enough. Looks like you have the entire collection, NICE !
  • lowleadlowlead USAMember Posts: 200
@Marshallmario Thanks!  It was an impulse buy that I normally resist, but when I randomly discovered these, I had to have 'em.
The collection is almost complete.  Some characters like R2, 3PO and Yoda didn't translate very well to the tiki treatment - in my opinion - so I passed on those.  Also, I only purchased OT characters.

I was excited to see my ”May the Fourth” Cantina was shipped a week ago…FedEx tracking has been a bit pointless though as each of the last 4 days they have notified me that it is arriving, only to change their mind later that evening… I will remain optimistic that it will actually arrive today…🙂
This happened with my last purchase. The delivery notifications kept saying TODAY, only to be delayed another day.

If your shipment is headed to Texas via Oregon, then my theory of @pxchris will gain further traction. I think he's the official FedEx LEGO Quality Assurance tester...

Hey, I work for FedEx, we only go for the limited edition sets(kidding) In all honesty, right now there is a severe labor shortage nationwide at the facilities that get packages from the semi trailers onto the trucks for home delivery. I know we are about a week behind at the facility I work at, so patience is key!

Yeah, well my pet peeve is seeing the expensive sets shipped with only a shipping label slapped on the Lego box, No other packaging. I know what the boxes shipped from Lego look like, so it is a third party shipper, but it's still irritating to see. Saw a Star Destroyer, Harry Potter Castle and Roller Coaster all shipped this way

I've been dialing back my LEGO purchases but I did get the new DOTS Creative Designer Box #41938 and the GWP #30557 to go with it. Surprisingly (like #70825 ), it uses a fancy flip top box! I'm not in a hurry to get Everyone Is Awesome, and since it's not limited edition I can afford to wait, but I'm definitely getting that eventually.

Ok, I did not plan to be spending another $300 this close to the Cantina....
Nah, we get it, you got cash to burn. ;oD
I think the last year has taught us to 'wait at your peril' when sourcing our choice LEGO sets.
Damn those big Ninjago buildings look beautiful - they remind me of some of the Overwatch maps!  But I CAN'T dive into another theme...gotta resist...

I bought #21326 Winnie the Pooh and #40516 Everyone is Awesome this morning at the Edinburgh store opening, so I got some nice decor for the upcoming nursery (and all the freebies for me!).  Got to catch up with @CommanderRaab too so it was a nice morning!
