@flord asked about the piece on the bottom right, not left. That doesn’t look like Lego either.
  • iwybsiwybs Member Posts: 400
The piece on the bottom right is the top of the payload module in the cargo bay of the Mega Bloks space shuttle.

Can anyone please tell me what this figure is
  • The_RancorThe_Rancor Member Posts: 2,623
It’s a Neimoidian Warrior from #75041 Vulture Droid in 2014, just without his helmet.

If that head is tan then it looks like it might be this part:

from Monkie Kid... which only comes in #80024

I guess it depends on what you like... I don’t see anything particularly rare or special (most are from minifigs found in sets made in the last few years or so).

Mainly modern although there is a Ron Weasley head bottom second column. A nice collection for minifig customisers. The waiter's head, second column 3rd one, is probably one of the more valuable yellow ones there. But only a quid or so.

Thanks. Any ideas on top left and fourth down on the right?

5th column, 2nd down is Sir Fangar from Legends of Chima. That version of Sir Fangar only came in #5004077 2015 Target Minifigure Gift Cube.

Thanks. He may be rare, but he does not seem to be desirable!

Well, 3 or 4 years ago my parents gave me #70320 and #75119 because Mom found them for really cheap- I assume WalMart clearance at about $5 each because she wouldn't have spent much on Lego since I might already have them. I did have #70320, but I'd never turn down free Lego. Extra parts! This past year they gave me $50 for #42122 "or whatever new Lego you like!" I used it for #75299 on day one, then got the Jeep later. Otherwise, no one buys me Lego because "You probably already have it!" 😞

Anything stand out from this photo? Opportunity for a bulk lot I'm considering. I see Buzz Lightyear's Shuttle in the top right.

What's the tan wall structure in the bottom right? The red building on the left side? The odd tan tower and gray block in the middle right?

Thinking the bottom left bag may be #10220 VW T1 Camper Van? The red ladder seems to match up with the pictures at least?

Well...never mind. Another one for the "Just Missed" conversation. I was getting into my car to go pick it up and it was marked as sold. An hour later of trying to make contact and nothing.

    So so close......

^ I don't think you missed out on much. When ever I see a mixed lot with parts spanning decades it's usually not a good sign.

^I definitely know what you mean as I've encountered those before. Honestly, my hope with this bin was to get the Buzz Lightyear ship and the T1, then resell the bins and recoup some/all of the money as the price was quite low.

My hunt for the T1 continues.

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows which set this is? I received it in 1983 for Christmas, but I can't seem to find anything similar in the Brickset database.

    Many thanks!

That is a tough one... I looked at the Universal Building Sets from the early 80s- no luck.  I tried guessing the parts based on the pic (trans clear 45 degree slope, etc) but also nothing came up.  I even pulled up the lego guide by @Istokg without success... perhaps he might be of assistance?

My other guess is some sort of promotional set or freebie, but again, nothing came up in those areas that I could find... do you have a clearer picture?
  • andheandhe Member Posts: 4,001
I'm guessing that's the back of the box hence the lack of numbers, which makes matching it with pictures online a bit trickier... There are a few BASIC sets that seem similar but it's the wheels that are throwing me

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=544-1

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=1944-2

All labelled as  released before Christmas 1983

This one was supposedly 1984 but thought I'd add it for good measure

    @andhe
I looked at those sets as possibilities as well, but none of them seemed to match.  The windmill looks to have white plates (2x8s or 2x10s), and the bricks seem to only be in red and yellow.  I’ll keep looking...🙂

Judging by the dimensions of the box, it's definitely not 1944 or 1954. The top side of the box looks like it has a 3-digit set number on the left side above the windmill.
  • andheandhe Member Posts: 4,001
These sets have the bigger wheels but I was searching for a match with what I'm guessing is a 1x4x5 white door, and couldn't find a match

@kirkj  Is it possible that you also received a plastic carrying case at the same time? If so, the set number could be lost as there were sets that came out that year that were bundled with a carry case and shrink wrapped together.

    Thanks @KungFuKenny, @andhe, @PDelahanty and @oldtodd33! I really appreciate you looking!

We never had any plastic carry cases, so I don't think those are matches. Unfortunately that's the only image I have, which is a capture from an 8mm silent film.

I wish I could remember more about the set. I think it was the first LEGO I ever received, and my Mum said it was quite hard to get it here in New Zealand at the time. I'm not sure if that was due to limited supply due to import restrictions, or high prices.

I had that crazy idea of recreating or purchasing my first childhood set, to go along with all the other lego I've got... but I might have to either shelve that idea, or else just build the windmill and car based on what I can see in the picture :)

    Cheers!

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x239top#T=S&C=10&O={"color":10,"iconly":0}

Came In only 4 sets: #6977, #6969, #6907, #6909 (though the last two set numbers are the same set)

Based on the green reflectors, I'd day 6907/6909

Damn, @Switchfoot55, you caused a panic attack! I have #6977 and #6969, but not #6907/6909. I thought, "They came in two colors and I only got one?? NOOoooo...." But I checked my #6969, and the reflectors are Transparent Fluorescent Green; only the lights are red.

I did see the set on BL but they don't have the picture of the front of the box and I didn't bother going to ebay to find another picture.

Before I do a Bricklink deep dive, anybody recognize the green baseplate? I’m assuming the dark tan one is Mega Blox.
