LEGO Passport

While visiting a LEGO store recently, my son and I were discussing how many different stores we have been to. We found out that there is now a passport to collect stamps from different stores. With that, we are wondering if others go to different stores and if so, how many? We will have to revisit now that the passport is available, but these are the places that we can remember.

Alabama - Riverchase Galleria
Florida - Downtown Disney
Illinois - Water Tower Place
Kansas - Oak Park Mall
Michigan - Somerset Collection
North Carolina - Concord Mills
Ohio - Easton Town Center and Kenwood Town Centre
Tennessee - Opry Mills
Wisconsin - Mayfair

Thanks!

@jlbblue‌ The Lego Passport idea emerged in late summer of 2014, but was then shelved. Combining a fun idea with travel for kids is just my cup of tea (actually coffee), and I'd hoped TLG would revive it, so maybe now? Which Lego store were you visiting that had passports?

Where can you buy the passport?

The passport was free and we got ours at the Kenwood Town Centre in Ohio.

Picked up our passports at the Indianapolis store today. Not quite as nice as the National Parks passports and stamps, but it will be fun to collect the stamps on our travels. I wish they had something unique to symbolize each store (e.g., Indy car or racecar driver minifig for Indianapolis), and a date for the visit. In addition to collecting stamps for the stores you visit there is also a section for stamps for the monthly model builds and a section for the club meetings.

Does anybody know if these passports are available in Canada?

Reviving an oldie... is there any idea when the passports/stamps will also be available in Europe? I know they were being distributed at Leicester Square, but as I've started to branch out to neighbouring countries' Lego stores I think it would be fun to start to collect stamps... :D

I expect in August. It's the promo calendar voucher for August @sid3windr

Oh right, thanks for the reminder :-) I actually told my gf there was a voucher, but I forgot to look. Passport is one thing, I'd assume they would also have stamps in the stores from then on (as some people already have a passport from the London store)

Milton Keynes finally received their stamps last week.

Would Legoland and Discovery Center stores also have stamps? I guess not as they're not Lego-operated?

I already got mine in Germany.

I was in Köln a couple months ago and they didn't have them yet so this is very exciting!  Maybe the voucher just means that stores will defo have them by August?  Yay, this means I have to revisit all the stores I've already been to... or maybe that's a bad thing, my wallet won't like that so much :S

I know its been asked before, but we're off to LL Windsor this week and wondered if there is a stamp for that, being owned by Merlin I'm doubting it, but I'll take it incase.

^ Yea, as I'm in Billund this week I'm also wondering. Asked it before (above) but no response with regard to Merlin powered stores... :)

Who else enjoys collecting passport stamps from Lego stores?  Are stamps issued by any places other than stores?
I am making slow and steady progress toward visiting every Lego store in the USA.  To commemorate each visit, I try to buy a small set which reminds me of the region.  For instance, I got #75888 Speed Champions Porsches when visiting Indianapolis because of the Speedway, #75927 Jurassic World when visiting Colorado because of Dinosaur National Monument, and #75229 Tatoine droid escape when visiting Arizona because IT'S HOT!
What stories do you have to share about Lego passport stamp seeking adventures?

I don’t know about passports (although I think I do have one with just Leicester Square stamped in it somewhere) - but I do go for any store specific items in particular.

I went to the official opening days of both the Leicester Square store and Southampton store in the UK. The former gave me a ton of goodies including event exclusive sticker sheets for the mini London Bus set that was free at the time - I had to wait to get a Lester minifig later. And I got the ‘I heart Southampton’ exclusive tile for the Southampton opening. Haven’t been back to either store since January 2020 but hopefully soon! I’d like to see some more stores too.

We have a passport, got a couple of year stamps and a couple of store stamps. Ours also has the Old Fishing Store designers signature in the back as we had it to hand when we bought the set at the Leicester Sq event

I love my passport and have stamps from every store I have been to. Leicester Square, Scotland, Paris, LEGO House, AZ, OH, NY (all 3), Anaheim, 2 of the 3 from my area, Vegas. Some of the other stores in London say they do not have stamps, and that made me sad.

    What's a "year stamp"?

Not sure, but US stores still have stamps.  I got a stamp in 2/2020 (NY).  In 12/2020, I found my first store without a circular store stamp (Natick, MA).  They had some other stamp with their store name, so that works for me.

If it doesn’t say which store, it doesn’t seem much good for a passport :)
