This is amazing, I love the wings! Did you flip the cockpit window though between shots or are my eyes playing tricks on me.  If you did side view version better. Seriously I have started shifting away from space for my love of castle but this makes it soo hard as it inspires me to want to as benny would say "Build a spaceship!".

If you read @Huw’s review of the set, he suggested the modification to the cockpit.

Thanks for the info Astro, just debating ordering it on lego's website.. That wing design is just amazing but the cockpit adjustment really makes it. Going to check out Huw's review now as it probably will push me to buy it twice lol.

Finished 42125 Ferrari 488 GTE last night after managing to bag a great discount on it. A fun build and looks great finished, even though it seemed stressful at times trying to get all the stickers lined up! Another car added into the burgeoning collection and probably means a new shelft or two needed soon

I’m not sure what to build next. I managed to get the Spring Lantern Festival set when it came back in stock a couple of weeks ago, so I’m probably going to make that up. But I’ve got lots of other sets to make up too! I got the palace cinema modular recently and the rollercoaster, but nowhere at the moment to display them!

@Chris87 the stickers looks perfect! Really the only part of building I don’t like. Makes me way nervous.
  • Chris87Chris87 Member Posts: 29
@Marshallmario I don't mind when on a small model as sometimes easier to hide them when they are off a little but on this it was pretty stressful as they are so visible. It did slow the build down which I guess can be an advantage to enjoy it a little more :)

I just finished #10224 Town Hall and I'm continuing my chronological modular building builds with #10232 Palace Cinema next.  Sadly, I didn't get the window sticker for The Lego Movie when that was available.

For those not following, who have forgotten, or don't care...a recap: We moved into a house that has a nice big basement with space dedicated to Lego...so all those modular buildings that I've been buying for nearly 14 years will finally have a home.  (As well as my old 1980s stuff, some mid-90s stuff between my two dark ages, and stuff from the last 14 years.)  Some of these sets are still new in the box, but others (Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, Town Hall, Palace Cinema, and Parisian Restaurant) were built at least once previously.  It's interesting to see the change in design and building techniques along the way.  I have a toddler and very little free time, so building tends to go slowly.  I think I'm averaging about one a month...although I'm building some other stuff (both old and new) in between.

Of all that I've been building or re-building, Fire Brigade was the most frustrating with the dark red tiles that snap in half due to age.  As mentioned in an earlier post, some Pet Shop's brown bricks had some cracks and issues as well...but fortunately no complete snaps in two.  Grand Emporium had one dark red 1x1 tile that snapped in 2 that I'll need to replace and I'll place an order when I need more than just the 1 brick.  I feared some of Town Hall might have cracked, but that went together without any issue...so maybe I'm past the era of problematic brick colors.

Palace Cinema is next and it's not one I've been looking forward to.  Partially because I've already built it once, but probably mainly because I found the theater to be lacking.  Not a fan of the movie screen, seating, and the general design of the upstairs interior.

However, I'm aware I'm coming up on #10243 Parisian Restaurant.  I'm aware that's one of the most popular modulars and was one of the longest available ones, but I'm really not a fan.  Never have been.  Not sure why.  Maybe the side staircase, roof design, or the short size...  This is my least favorite (other than #10190 Market Street which was SO unappealing to me that I never bought it and have zero regrets on that!)

After that, everything will be new to me and hasn't been opened or assembled yet.  I still need to get #10264 Corner Garage and #10278 Police Station at some point.  I've got #80107 Spring Lantern Festival (although not an official modular set) on backorder to help balance out the baseplate-and-a-half taken by Assembly Square.

    That's not a modular, is it? ;)

Looks like you are on a great building spree, enjoy!
Myself - the finished product of the two halves of #10295:

Again, great build - shame TLG don't as standard provide the only 9 extra bricks you need to put together this version.

I'm building 60 MILs for double tracks at the moment.  Once I finish those, I'll start the process over again so I can build 60 more.

That’s a huge number of modules!  Is that for your home layout or to take to a convention?

    Well spotted!
Yes I do, I like it so much (and so does my youngest daughter) that it stayed there for display and occasional play.
The only thing I don't like about that set is the amount of small builds, like the gifts, that have no place to sit on the set itself.

It's for use in collaborative displays with my LUG.  We've been just laying track down but I don't think it looks good and want to do something different.

My pair of reindeer arrived from BnP this morning, so I popped them into their own wagon.
Hoping my BnP order comes soon so I can play plan how to use them in my layout!

Starting to sort & build the 100 or so 1980s/1990s Town sets I bought from a relative a few years ago. Got these two mostly pieced together - still need to sift though and find all the pieces for the vehicles.

So, backlogs are a thing for used sets as well?
(and for reading threads - that was a September 2020 post)

Me, all I've done lately are a couple low piececount dog sets

my first DOTS. being a theme focused on small tiles, the decorated ones are a highlight (in this case, a bone and a dog smile)
the piece that looked like a key with a tip at the end is very useful for removing small tiles from studs, like the brick separator an accessory whose time has come.

big doggie playing with Frisbee, seemed ironic to have an imposing breed do something cutesy, but still cute.
the mouth was designed such that the disc (a 4x4 round plate) could stick to it, useful for storage or display.
also, it includes a medium dark flesh / medium nougat 1x4 brick - I didn't previously have one in my collection of common brick shapes in various colors. It wasn't particularly exposed in the final build so looks fine to replace. I did want to stick to the same general color scheme, and had a tan one handy (the first time I've dipped into my sorted spare parts in awhile)

I have designed a Pontiac Trans Am that I start to build this week. I have made an instruction in studio bricklink but now I shall build it.
I only build technic cars scale 1:8.
The last months I have bacame more clever designing cars and I want to build my Mocs.

Here are some renders of my Trans Am that I shall start building now.

Enjoy....one of my favourite recent builds! My son already asked if we can buy another for his room and if we can get all the body panels in black so that his would "look the coolest in the house" :)

Its an awesome set. its one of my best bargains. A year after if went EOL a small department store in a village where we were on a camping trip was closing down and had set up a small toyshop to shift the stock. I had to drive the 45 minutes back out to the village the next day as they were closed on Sundays. Nabbed it for £35

Today, I finally managed to complete @veyniac's Minecraft The End City & The End Gateway MOCs. I had a lot of problems sourcing the required number of Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Hole in Medium Lavender. In the end, I had to purchase them from a BL seller in Belgium, but I made the purchase worthwhile by adding a load of other wanted parts to the order. I think I probably now own more of these bricks than anyone else in the UK, 20, to be precise. Certainly going by what is available in BL! ;-)
Anyway, here is the completed MOC:

Overall, it's a pretty good approximation, although understandably scaled down somewhat, of an End City Tower, complete with Chorus Plants and some excellent Shulker Boxes, which use the Plate 1 x 1 with 2 Blue and 2 White Squares Pattern (Minecraft Steve Eyes) from #21102 Minecraft Micro World: The Forest to great effect.
The crenellations are cleverly build using SNOT and the End Stone Bricks and Purpur Blocks are well represented, as are the End Rods. I'm really happy with the end result, so many thanks, Veyniac, for another great Minecraft MOC! :-)

Thank you, @JudgeChuck, for the kind words and for giving me the privilege of seeing it in real life! I am happy you enjoyed the build, if not the part sourcing (in my defence, last I checked that part is still widely available in the U.S.).
Did you find any trouble spots in the instructions at all?
