Almost made you wanna cry, didn't it?
(and, of course, don't forget the stickers on that pair - sheesh!)
The true character of a man shows when his Legos crash into a solid object.

On the subject of breaking your sets by accident, back when I got my 4504 for Christmas when I was like 10, I broke it in half trying to fly it from both edges and dropped it down the stairs. I don't recall being mad, more just sad that it broke.
@lulwut, I actually liked the ARC-170, but I
In regard to breaking sets by accident, I think that my 4504 is prone to accidents. Shortly after I got it, 9 or 10 year old me was trying to fly it around the house... by the edges... and I broke it in half and dropped it down the stairs. And then later, I had it on the floor in the living room for some reason, and my mom accidently kicked it.
However, my biggest issue overall was as you mentioned. I added an extra Technic pin to the wing mechanism that I looped the band around. It keeps the lower s-foils flush (but the wings still sag). I hated doing it - I'm a build purist at heart - but I couldn't stand looking at them.
When I buy a $50 set I want it to take about an hour to build and not 20mins as it took me. Whoever designed that set was just lazy.
You paid $50 for 4644 Marina when people on Bricklink are selling it for 1/2 that? $50 for 294 piece set? Should've paid $30 or less for it.
