There are now also some Vidiyo posters, including 1 signed one, which only appear once you have redeemed the VIP pass.

So depending whether you like posters (2000 points for the signed one, 600 for the others), it might be worthwhile not waiting for the pass included in the welcome pack, and redeeming 50 points instead.

Signed by who? Is someone just writing L.L.A.M.A. on it or something?

And doing limited editions of 500 for the common edition prints - I guess they are not expecting to shift many of them.

@stlux how did you get to see the VIDIYO items in the VIP Rewards area? I redeemed the 50 point pass and then entered it into the ‘earn’ section successfully but still no extra items appearing. Do I have to redeem each of the beat box character items?

    This is all I’m seeing:

But it I also noticed a weird 30 day timer.

@The_Rancor After spending the 50 points on the Virtual Pass and entering the code, the posters did not appear instantly.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how long it took. I redeemed the pass at 12:50 GMT, and like you did not immediately see the posters. At 14:25 CET I checked again and redeemed 1 of the posters.

(I also have the 30 day notice, but that does not appear to be linked to the posters.)

My VIP account did actually activate the VIDIYO redeemable rewards about 1-2 hours after I redeemed the VIP pass. Perhaps surprisingly one of the only 100 signed L.L.A.M.A posters was still available so I went ahead and redeemed it - I not only like the novelty value of a signed poster signifying a ‘Lego inspired music track’ but also quite like the ‘Shake’ artwork which will fit into a nice space on my wall.

The concept art posters for some of the types of music look great too - I particularly like the Pirate Punk one - but I don’t know if they’re ‘600 points great’ and it would become impractical to make that many [email protected] orders if I wanted all of them.

Think some may find this quite interesting as something different for the VIP Rewards area - there is now a different sweepstake on top of the LLAMA skates one, which allows you to potentially win a real circa 1937 Wooden Elephant toy in a display case and with the art print included. Normally these sweepstakes limit to around 25 entries but this one goes up to 50, rather suggesting they think it’s going to be more popular. That’s 2500 points if you maxed out the entries though - just over £15 worth.

I did 12 entries. This is something I'm willing to spend $5 on.

Anyone else read this as Will.i.am's signed roller skates?  Why would Will.i.am have a pair of roller skates?

I'm new to the VIP awards system.  I've been away for a couple years when they just awarded discounts off purchases.

Now they have all these random Lego related stuff.  Have they ever offered a proper Lego set buyable with points in this new system?

They have offered a few old GWP's for points occasionally.  A few that were offered were the mini Star Wars Boost Droid Commander GWP, The Red Brick Built Brick GWP, The VIP set from a few years ago.

They look excellent and authentic to the original illustration style - but would require 5 individual orders to obtain in full!

At least no one will be redeeming them in China so they may have a few more available ;)

    That's my big qualm!
I'll probably just pick the one I like the most (assuming the "prices" aren't too ridiculous) to add on to my order.

  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
It's a shame they don't do them in a pack of five, or allow multiple per order, given they just chuck prints into a box without any protection. They could even put five in a bag with a sheet of card to protect them.

They are up now with slightly better pics...Looks like they will be 750 points each (at least in the US)...

I did end up picking up one (the "Once upon a time" print) but I agree that a pack of all 5 of them would have been much preferred as I do like a couple of the other prints quite a lot. However, seeing as how they already charged a fairly high "price" (in my opinion) of 750 points for 1, I hate to think what they would have charged for all 5 together...
As I've complained about before, I would have much rather been able to just pay cash for these instead of using points.

No now showing all prints sold out. How do you run out of prints before 9:30 am on the first day they are offered. Not a big deal for me as they were not on my must list but I do think they were very nice looking and I’m sure a bunch of people missed out.

Sigh... the “patent prints” last for over a year, but these go in just a few hours... hopefully they aren’t too ridiculous on the secondary market...

The patent prints hanging around that long might be the reason these Winnie the Pooh sketches had a more limited run. No use for TLG to going forward produce these type of prints in large quantities if not many AFOLs are interested.

For Europe they seem to have made 500 copies available of the "Friday" sketch, and 1000 of the 4 others.

Some of the patent prints are also not 'limited edition' prints, while some of the other prints are.  Most of the 'limited edition' patent prints appear to have gone out of stock relatively quickly. So pretty much I think most of the patent prints are still there because LEGO WANTS them still there, or was willing to have them hang around for awhile.

On the Pooh sketches specifically, I regretted not getting them at first after the first sold out, but now all of them sold out, so I can at least move on and treat it as a done deal, and not worry about not having a complete set :P

LEGO did publish a fun set of images that are much like the sold out prints on it's Instagram feed:

I definitely don't understand doing a limited run of prints.  There is plenty of paper, and that's an easy way for LEGO to get people to cash-in points well below the coupon costs.

Why not have anything and everything available?  Marvel, Star Wars, Creator Vehicles...

Out of interest has anybody received their print and have the incorrect spelling ?

I wasn’t sure if this was on just the one print or on all 5 and am hearing different stories about Lego not sending anymore out because of the spelling mistake.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,481
    What spelling mistake?
  • ShropshireShropshire Member Posts: 654
is that the one where it says WINNE not WINNIE under the border at the bottom on all of the prints, next to the print number

Yes sorry it took me a while to post that comment 😁 Did you get one like that yourself ?
  • sonatine01sonatine01 Member Posts: 782
Well it seems some are getting their VIP points back because of the mistake and others are getting a lot more freebies.

So just a heads up for those who have the spelling mistake on theirs, might be worth a call to Lego CS.

If only the typo was a missing H from Pooh. Then everyone would be going wild to get the crappy one.

Do people think we're likely to see the space coin next month? It would tie in with the shuttle launch which has the probe as its own VIP promo. Would there be two VIP promotions at the same time?
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,526
There are many VIP purchase promotions running concurrently all the time. I don't really see what the Classic Space coin has to do with the shuttle set, so I doubt there would be any link between the two.
  • The_RancorThe_Rancor Member Posts: 2,573
However, the Castle Coin was January, Pirate Coin at the start of February, and Octan Coin at the start of March. So it would be a safe assumption that the Space Coin is around the start of April, assuming it’s that and not the other ‘stud’ Coin.
