Unfortunately my grown children and their children are on the other side of the continent! Finally got thed mountain finished and have started on #71741 Ninjago City Gardens. Still could use access to smaller hands but am loving this build so far. Some tedious bits but broken up with periods of really interesting stuff.
In other LEGO room news, big thanks to @PJ76uk for hooking me up with what seems to be the last big IKEA Ribba frame in the country! Its now had a 48x48 baseplate glued in the back and the rest of my CMFs have found a display place. At my current rate of one or two sets a year, I've got room for another three years I think.
1x 32105 angle element 112.5
6x 32062 2m axle
3x 59443 cross axle extension
1x 32192 angle element 135
That lot makes the arm section with a round brick top and bottom. Then I took the pair of 8x6 plates out of the base and moved the curved ends together. The lower round brick fixes into the base and then I built plates to cover the gap including a 2x4 Technic plate with holes to allow the axle going into the round brick through.
I know Huw took the plates off the bottom of his stand to make it shallower, but I kept them for added rigidity. I can take some photos tomorrow
Once all of that is done, I will finally have space for some Diagon Alley and/or some Hogwarts sets. I do also have a Grand Emporium to build at some point, and some modulars to rearrange... That's why it might be DA or Hogwarts. I might have to keep the bookcase shelf for modulars. Decisions!!
One needs 7 parts to finish it off which are not included in the set (it's intended to build either the Targa OR the Turbo):
2 more of the 68568, Plate, Round Corner 3 x 3 with 2 x 2 Cutout, Black
2 more of the 27295, Tile, Round Corner 2 x 2 Macaroni, black
3 more of the 241226, Tile, Modified 1 x 2 Grille with Bottom Groove / Lip
and 1 1x6 tile, White
For the 68568's, I used the ones from the spoiler in the roof, the 27295's I replaced with Dark Red one from my stash, and the 1x6 I took from the windscreen and replaced, together with the 2 1x1 tiles, white with a 1x8 (one could use spare 1x4's from the set, but I had my Tiles-stash out). The 3 241226's I took from my stash too, plenty there.
BL order for the 68568's, 27295's and one 1x6 tile already out.
I'd say Lego could have thrown these in, just for fun, but okay.
Was a great build, some awesome techniques in the car, just a joy to put together.
Oh, and just ordered a new cabinet for our living room, which I can use to display some of my sets! Joy!

I still need that hidden side hot dog stand. never seen it in the wild.
These came out in 2012 and 2014. Pullback cars with a couple of buildings. The second series I managed to gather a full set in under two weeks. I was running three cars at the time, so a tank full for each one, then we took a trip out in a friends 911 to get two more and the final one arrived thanks to fill up in another friends 1964 Alvis TE21
Regarding your second, will you please stop! I've only just built your *last* MOC:
;-)
I also completed @BenBuildsLego's 3 Star Wars OT Skyline sets, so I really must take some half-decent pics of those to show off here. I did post pics of the first two a while ago, but will add pics of the third. They really are excellent. :-)
Oh, I also put together @JKBrickworks' MOD of the #31088 Deep Sea Creatures set, which animates the shark. I *really* enjoyed putting that together and really need to get into more "animated" Lego of various types.
1. Disney castle, another medieval blacksmith and barracudas bay. (this would be good as all these sets are rarer and awesome!)
2. Mos Eisley Cantina, Two AT-AT's, Two new X-wings, Two new Tie fighters. (this would allow me to finish my hoth base which has great rebel presence but weak imperial attack, plus the cantina is just awesome)
Which brings me to the other problem, order all at once or wait for new give aways and order in groups to maximize free stuff? Which then leaves me with the last problem, order it to my home where my wife will see it all and yell at me or order it to my military base where I I desperately need something to do but have very limited space and will have sergeants yell at me on inspections over lego in my locker.... Oh decisions...
Actually, I am having problems getting the parts for your End City together. For some odd reason, part number 3700 Technic, Brick 1 x 2 with Hole in Medium Lavender just cannot be bought in the UK! EU, yes! US, yes! UK? 1 seller has 1 part! I'll probably have to bite the bullet at some point and risk customs fees from Europe / US.
Apparently, the part only came in 1 Dimensions set, #71346 Team Pack - The Powerpuff Girls, which might explain matters somewhat.
I would love to know how one seller in the US has 2,384 of them though! Surely he didn't buy that many Powerpuff Girls sets? ;-)
Order them separately to maximize GWP’s. Order a small Tie Fighter, X-Wing for base delivery for something to do...
So who yells louder; the Sargent or your wife?
I only just realized that Amelia #40449 and Carrot House #40450 have sequential set numbers - mildly interesting :)
You know it is not how loud they yell, it is the guilt I feel because I know I have a problem.. "My name is Evan, it has been 3 days since I last bought some bricks." lego anonymous, is that a thing yet?
Short visit to clean out my stuff and take it home as we're moving to a more home-based model permanently.
...the office definitely has the feeling that time stopped a year ago. It feels like it's only a matter of time before the lights cut out and the zombie apocalypse starts...
I can’t say enough good things about these builds- they have nice parts usage, fun build techniques, and some cool functions as well. I whipped up some decals to provide the titles, and posed Sam and Frodo for scale...
