The overall crappieness of the Indy 4 sets, and my (perhaps desparate?) anticipation that there may be some re-releases when a likely craptacular Indy 5 arrives, it was time to clear some space.

And I was missing too many of the Indy 1, 2 and 3 sets to justify acquiring the rest to complete the set.

But I still have my complete set of Prince of Persia to lord over everyone.  Or no one.  Probably no one?

I loved the original Indy sets, though skipped the flying wing and temple of doom.  The last wave, which I imagined had been intended to tie in with a 4th Indiana Jones film that was clearly never made or released, was hit and miss for me.  I skipped the jungle dozer but liked the tent, grave and temple sets.  And ironically, Peril in Peru may be one of my favorite sets ever.

Asked my local store if they could get the Blacksmith and Winnie The Pooh sets in stock. I haven't heard anything and they are usually quick to tell me if they can't get sets in stock as they are exclusive to Lego.

Went to the Utrecht Lego Store, really to get some distraction from being at home (honestly, I combined it with my 4th visit to the office since 13-3-2020 the pandemic hit work), with the intention to get some BaM-figs, as PaB was n/a.

Ended up buying #10295, as they threw in the Porsche Welcome Pack, the Skating Rink, Amelia, Year of the Ox, the Day of the Teacher-build-and-take AND the VIP-packing gift set. Oh, and some BaM figs. ;)
Thanks Thomas @ Lego Store Utrecht!

Update, they are now available and my Maersk trains will soon have an even more colorful array of containers to haul.

I went to every store that could sell lego in all of Kingston Ontario including flea markets and second hand stores. This city has way less then my home city so ended up empty handed and returned to my barracks and ordered the blacksmith off lego's website. I don't trust it finding me on the military base so the hard part was phoning the wife to let her know it was coming as I chose to ship it home. She actually took it very well and I am still happily married! Now the hard part is if I order a second can she take it? Been struggling over that question for 2 days now...

#80107 Spring Lantern Festival is finally back in stock, and the double GWP overlap is still in effect, so it looks like another Amelia Earhart GWP is headed my way along with the Bunny House

Woo Hoo!!  I'll take a backorder if that's all that's available.  Plus the double GWP is a  bonus.

Better toss in something tiny and available now so the GWPs ship.

In theory it’s a way to help guarantee your promo items ship... otherwise there is a chance they don’t hold the GWPs for when your backordered item ships out.  That said, I have had multiple instances where the GWP is held until the backorder ships, so you may be just fine...

Just bought the Winnie the Pooh set and one of the prints.

I believe this is actually the first time I've purchased a set from lego.com immediately at the release time.

From the Mall of America Lego store: Monkie Kid #80018 and #80019, two of Xtra 40464 Chinatown, and a large PAB cup. They are now letting one person or group at the PAB wall at a time, maximum 15 minutes, you must use scoops or tongs which they clean after. New parts: Sand Green 1x6 bricks and Teal 1x4 bricks. I got GWPs #30579 and #40449. 😁😁😁

15 Minutes with tongs to slow you down? Did you have to mad rush to decide what to fill the cup with? I have never been to PAB wall so I feel like I would need 4 hours just to fill the 10 cups I would binge on for the experience lol.

I was mainly after the sand green and teal bricks and medium azure half circle plates, the rest were just whatever looked good to fill the cup. I counted: 634 parts. I priced them at Bricks and Pieces: total $78.41! The sand green 1x6 bricks were $.50 apiece, so the 40 I got means all the other parts were "free" since the cup was $15.99.

Picked up a Cara Dune battle pack #75254 and a large PaB cup to get me over the threshold for GWP. Not a bad way to kick off the weekend.

It is nice that pick a brick is finally reopen but I don't like the tongs. They are ridiculously hard to use with the tiny 1x1 pieces. I think it would make things easier if they just had a box of disposable latex gloves for people wanting to use the PaB wall.

Those in Southeast Asia are probably aware of Lazada's birthday sale with a plethora of stackable discounts — I'm not into big sets so I didn't spend much but I did get #76150 for 33% off after passing on it last Black Friday when it was 30% off. Don't know why that set retails for just 30 USD but a whopping 75 SGD, so getting it for 50 bucks actually puts it on par with the US price, at least from the MSRP standpoint. Got it for Spider-Man Noir and Venom, not fond of the Venom mech compared to #76115 but it can go head to head with the Miles Morales mech at least, with air support from the Spiderjet.
They also threw in the GWP #30330 even though I didn't actually pay enough to qualify. My first Duplo set since 1998's #2224 (I was six). And it comes with a coral Duplo brick!

My wife keeps sending me pictures of my Medieval Blacksmith telling me she is going to open it! I tell ya it is terrible when you know you have something that you cannot touch for another 2 months. I broke today though since I am confined to a small area for 2 months more I went out on a last binge as I have had no lego to build for 3 months already! I just wish I could have gotten 2 of the new x-wings, they look sweet!

I just picked up #10220 from a friend. They had originally received it as a gift years ago but never built it, so they let me have it. The box is opened but the contents are sealed and complete. Will build it to get a taste of the D2C large vehicle experience, but I'm not interested in the model either so I'll most likely part it out afterwards. The box is the original D2C version and isn't in the best shape, but I can't bear to get rid of it either.
I've yet to use my Friends/DOTS vouchers, and I'm hoping once I do I'll still be able to qualify for the Carrot House GWP.

Very unexpectedly, we made a trip to Bluewater, as my daughters had been earlier in the week, but hadn't had a chance to have a proper look round the Lego Shop (although they did return with a set each!) and they wanted to spend the rest of their Birthday and Christmas money on a Build-a-Bear.

I swear it was all their fault, but I seemed to end up leaving with #10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery and the #40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute GWP. They obviously made plenty of *those* to go round! ;-)

While being an excellent tribute to an amazing, pioneering aviator, it's such a shame that her plane, the Lockheed Vega 5b, was just so ugly! If I do build it, I'll have to make Huw's base for it as well.
