And I was missing too many of the Indy 1, 2 and 3 sets to justify acquiring the rest to complete the set.
But I still have my complete set of Prince of Persia to lord over everyone. Or no one. Probably no one?
Ended up buying #10295, as they threw in the Porsche Welcome Pack, the Skating Rink, Amelia, Year of the Ox, the Day of the Teacher-build-and-take AND the VIP-packing gift set. Oh, and some BaM figs. ;)
Thanks Thomas @ Lego Store Utrecht!

In theory it’s a way to help guarantee your promo items ship... otherwise there is a chance they don’t hold the GWPs for when your backordered item ships out. That said, I have had multiple instances where the GWP is held until the backorder ships, so you may be just fine...
I believe this is actually the first time I've purchased a set from lego.com immediately at the release time.
It was a long wait for Spring Lantern Festival to come back in stock, so I’m glad to have that one in hand finally!
It is nice that pick a brick is finally reopen but I don't like the tongs. They are ridiculously hard to use with the tiny 1x1 pieces. I think it would make things easier if they just had a box of disposable latex gloves for people wanting to use the PaB wall.
Successful shop at the Lego shop today - also popped into IKEA so of course had to pick up the storage box. It's going to be a long few weeks before we move and I'm able to build these!
I swear it was all their fault, but I seemed to end up leaving with #10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery and the #40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute GWP. They obviously made plenty of *those* to go round! ;-)
While being an excellent tribute to an amazing, pioneering aviator, it's such a shame that her plane, the Lockheed Vega 5b, was just so ugly! If I do build it, I'll have to make Huw's base for it as well.
