    might not be your thing but i picked up some of the chinese knockoffs which are pennies on the dollar and some models not offered by lego

    Thread resurrection time! From the leaks thread there is a list of summer 2021 releases. My predictions based on the 2020 range are in bold after the manufacturers  

    76900 Koenigsegg - Jesko Absolut
    76901 Toyota - Supra GT4
    76902 McLaren - Elva to match the polybag 30343
    76903 Chevrolet double set C8.R race car and NASCAR truck series pickup
    76904 Dodge double set A F&F tie in like the Technic set and Ram pickup
    76905 unknown Aston Martin duo DB5 and DBX or a GrpB rally pair to go with the Quattro

    A licensed set of NASCAR would be very, very dangerous for some of us.

    And a '52 Fabulous Hudson Hornet, please.  I also wouldn't mind an '82 and '03 Monte Carlo...

    I'm pretty excited about the Koenigsegg. Definitely did NOT expect to see one as a Speed Champions set ever.  What crazy manufacturer are we going to get next?  Maybe a Pagani?!

    @SumoLego Id love all those! We need more old cars!! If they did a Hudson Hornet though, Id hope the decals are stickers or parts are included to make it into a regular car.

    @Speedman29 Id love a Lego minfig scale DB5! Obviously there's the 007 thing but its also just an interesting car to build in minfig scale. Personally I thought the Creator Expert DB5 was probably Lego's worst large scale Creator vehicles in regards to capturing what the car looks like. The gadgets were all very well done though.

    Whats the chances of a old (or modern) truck towing a trailer with a 1930s racing car on it? Eg Mercedes W25 Silver Arrow 'the Monopoly car' etc.?

    Id love a racetrack set with two or three of such old racers and a commentators tower with era appropriate cameras and microphones as well as some chap holding a 'handwritten' sign (sticker or print that looks like a handwritten sign). Call it 'Nostalgia Racetrack' or something. Would that ever happen?

    I do like the 'old and new' sets they come out with, like the Porsche and Mini although I do wish the old cars were sold separately. I really liked that 1960s Ferrari racer (the 22 car closest to the viewer in WatfordScottyM's post.) but the set was too expensive and the other cars were of no use to me. Shame I didnt get that 1950s petrol bowser too...

    Random question, how do you spell bowser as in petrol pump?

    The move to 8-wide has certainly opened up some ambitious options it seems. I do want a Supra, and I wouldn't mind a Koenigsegg, although I only know the CC... range.
    I'd like a McLaren F1 (oldie but a goodie) but I don't know of a Chevy I want that hasn't already been done (Camaro, Corvette). I want a Dodge Viper, but that's so curvy it'll be hard.
    As for the unknown one... please please please be a Honda NSX

    If they hadn't just done the Ideas GWP I'd be hoping for a Chevy Bel Air.

    The McLaren F1, in my opinion, remains one of the greatest cars to ever be produced. I know it's been bested in all major categories at this point (the Porsche 911 Turbo is insanely quick) but the F1 was a perfect mix of timing, opportunity, vision, and execution.  It was so incredibly ahead of its time that it certainly deserves its accolades as one of, even the greatest car, ever built. A Speed Champions version would be really, really cool. Though I don't know how they would do the three seats.  It'd be a great Creator Expert car, though probably hard to render.

    An NSX would be awesome and would certainly lend itself to the medium.

    Or how about an 80s Lamborghini Countach (or Diablo) - let's speak to the nostalgia crowd a bit with the SC line. ;-)

    If we really want to get nostalgic, with the last SC release including Jaguar, I wonder if we could get like an E-Type or some other classic Jags as well.

    The only thing that worked against it in terms of timing was that most of the people who could afford it at the time still thought it was absurd to spend $1M on a car.  Whereas today, that same market segment would be gobbling them up, even when adjusted for inflation.  Just look at how many $1M+ cars have gone on sale in the past few years along with the long waitlists as any indication.  That being said, there's no way a car like that would exist today given the current safety and emissions standards so timing really did work out on that front.

    @Fizyx Great idea! An E type would be a very interesting to pull off. How about a 1958 Jaguar XK 150 or similar version?

    Camp Hopson, Little department store in Newbury. They have a variety box of polybags, similar to the style that Asda had recently, but different sets.

    Was hoping it might be in a national store! Or even on TG magazine like previously, Newbury is a bit far for me to travel for a polybag! Haven't been down Berkshire way for a very long time...

    Will patiently wait to see if asda or Tesco start selling them!
