11 packages and a clue to answer before I opened each one. In fact it was kind of a journey through most of the current lego themes, and it was totally awesome and fun opening them! I have SO many new Minifigures to welcome to my city - I honestly don’t know how you sourced so many!! I have minifigs from Ninjago City, Lego Movie, Friends, Minecraft, Friends, Trolls, Unikitty, Seasonal, a Monkie Kid Polybag AND Ideas 40335! This gift would need a thread of its own and I’m going to write about them on my blog. But thank you Secret Santa so so SO much!! And thanks to the organizers!!
I don't know what to say about this...
All joking aside, I enjoyed the whole haul (pictured below, minus the trolls poly and the candy that were unwrapped in the box). I love the Ice Planet set with Commander Cold, who also appeared in Lego Racers, my favorite game as a kid. The Batman video game McDonald's toy is also neat because I liked the game and McDonald's was naturally one of my favorite childhood restaurants, especially when they had the brick toys with McDonald's characters printed on them. Thanks a million!
Somehow the chocolate didn't make it to Xmas day, weird huh.
But wanted to say massive thanks to my secret Santa. Looking forward to getting these build, wee Yoda needs a new hut :)
Apologies for posting a little late, I only opened these (and the odd other) gift a little while ago as I've been absolutely knackered from a full on Christmas day with my neices and nephew (they're very small and excitable and it took a lot out of me!) But a big THANK YOU to my ace of a Secret Santa, I didn't even realise that I had missed this set, and I'm way, way behind on my CMF collection so these were so welcome! I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty sure my older niece is going to appropriate the Friends set, but you can't win em all lol. Plus the (I think!) 3D printed jumbo pieces will be FAB to decorate my "new" home office with! So all in all very successful gift, Secret Santa!
Thanks so much for keeping up this Brickset tradition to the organisers, what a bit of fun in a year with some real roller coasters. Especially to (fellow Canadian) @kiki180703 who had to gently poke me into checking the thread to sign up!
Sorry for the delay but thank you to my Secret Santa. Such a large set, plus some pieces for mocking and delicious chocolate of course!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas full of Lego goodness.
Thank you to the organisers! Really great seeing everyone's excitement and secret Santa gifts!
Thank you organizers for putting this all together and thank you BSS!
Glad to see your gifts finally arrived! Maybe this is the start of a new Brickset Forum tradition-- "Year-Round Secret Santa"... :-)
What, like we should organise a thing where you anonymously mail each other random presents? Or even birthday presents? You volunteering to organise?
Tuesday, if anybody is interested!
Thank you for the nice gifts, and especially the wonderful minifig mittens! 😊
Well, this is embarrassing. Massive apologies to my Secret Santa - I had much fun opening this on Christmas Day and showing my family, but I forgot to post on here!
The train was one I wanted for a while now, the satellite expands my current City Space set collection, the Imperial Shuttle goes with all my other SW polybags, and the Batman set is one I've been looking for to build with my son for ages! As soon as I opened it, Tom was asking me about the dog - he knows everything about Ace from the cartoons (Beyond, TBATB) and his DC visual dictionary. We'll have a lot of fun building this together.
Thank you my BSSS - you are very generous and a great gifter, and thank you everyone on here for posting such fab photos of all your gifts. Took me ages to 'like' them all!
Also, happy birthday @ravendragonwing & @benbacardi
Finally, and most importantly, many many thanks to the organisers @kiki180703 @KungFuKenny @snowhitie & @stlux - you are the bestest. Here's to a bright 2021 for all of us!
No LEGO for me this year, though!
Your package may win the prize for "most circuitous route", but I'm glad it finally arrived!
I just moved house and set up this diorama in a spare cubbyhole in my Ikea Expedit. It includes things from at least three past years of BSS (the white spaceship this year, the TLM2 spacemen last year and the S@H exclusive spaceman before that) and a few others as well. It was great to be able to alleviate the stress of moving with the joy of Lego spacemen, so thanks again to my BSS and the ghosts of BSSs past!
(Also - the way that spaceship's landing gear slots exactly into the Exo-Suit's grill thing is just so perfect. And do I now feel the urge to collect the missing colours of classic spaceman? No. Or so I keep trying to tell myself...)
