    I wish we had a feedback forum, but since we don't I just wanted to leave some feedback for some members that recently purchased some sets from me. Hopefully the Mods will allow this post to remain ~ and maybe one day we can have a proper feedback forum ;o)

    Kelphazard purchased Power Miners #8962 Crystal King from me. Communication was great and payment was prompt. Definately a positive experience. Thanks for doing business with me!

    Tomrulz also bought a couple of Power Miners sets from me - #8191 Lavatraz and #8963 Rock Wrecker. Again, communication was great and payment was prompt. Definately another positive experience. Thank you for doing business with me!

    A big round of thanks goes out to Atkinsar! Andy bought a couple of old Star Wars sets I had decided to let go (#7171 Mos Espa Podrace and #7186 Watto's Junkyard). Andy was very patient with me while I located all the necessary pieces which were built, but stored away in boxes. Communication was friendly and prompt, as was payment. The entire transaction was smooth and enjoyable from my end (hope it was for Andy too). We've already got a trade going for some poly bags... ;oP
    Thanks for doing business with me Andy!

    No problem Mike, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with you and hope to do so many times in the future.

    +1 Andy was a great buyer from me too. God knows where he's putting all this lego though!

    Also props go to: @dimefield, @siddersdd, @andhe, @Matthew, @introspective, @collect_that, @Russell844 and @anselthecat

    cheers for the good trades/sales

    I think it would be a good idea to enable some kind of buyer/seller warning on this forum. That way if someone scams someone there wont be others to fall for it
  • LegogeekLegogeek Member Posts: 714
    ^ That's kind of why I started this post. I'm just a small time seller that wanted to clear out some older sets which I no longer had interest in. I don't have or sell enough to warrant me opening a shop on Bricklink, and I'm not active much on eBay these days because of the fees involved. Thus I looked for a feedback forum here, but since there was none, I went ahead with this post in order to acknowledge those members that have bought from me. :oD

    We (the mods and admins) have talked about it and given serious consideration to a feedback system. In the end it was agreed that a more formal feedback system wasn't necessary at this time since there wasn't an issue with dishonest or bad traders that needed addressing.

    If that changes in the future, you can be sure that we will bring the idea back to the table, but there's no reason why we can't all continue to be as honest and friendly as we've been with each thus far.

    I agree, the majority of people who use this forum do so purely for the enjoyment the hobby brings and like to help fellow members.There's always going to be a few who would take advantage of others but a feedback system would encourage more commercial traders and lose the friendliness that this forum prides itself on!

    Thanks Savage, it was a pleasure trading with you too. As for where I'm putting it all, currently into boxes ready for a big move in a few weeks, where I will be the proud owner of a LEGO workshop which is nearly 25ft long by 9ft wide. Should see me right for the next year or two.

    Thanks for the figures. What's with all these stickers on the envelope though, the postie gave me a funny look ;-)

    ^ Us collectors are constantly fighting a losing battle against lack of space; guess Andy will just have to move again once the space is filled. Or buy a separate property just to house his LEGO like a certain Brickish member (I don't think he's on the forums, though, so we can't tease him about it !)

    ^^ are you trying to tell me that your postie doesn't already know about your obsession??? Mine doesn't even shake them any more, he just asks what I'm building now!

    P.S. I LIKE the stickers :-P
  • collect_thatcollect_that Member Posts: 1,327
    My postie is the singer in a band I play in and he thinks it's hilarious that someone who can rock out at night sits at home the next day building lego!

    ^ Guitar player who builds lego here!

    I got stung recently too, it's painful but thems the rules unfortunately. It would be nice however if they made 'the rules' a lot clearer and easier to understand.

    yeah it is just frustrating, i know we need them but there must be a way to do it quicker

    He found out the day after he first started the round ;-) On the day your packet arrived, it was the last of six he pulled out of his bag, and that weird city face with orange glasses is a bit of an eyesore to say the least! He says it makes a fine noise in the panniers of his bike on the way.
    Funnily enough, I saw him in Tesco tonight, looking at LEGO... Perhaps he's grown envious in delivering it and not having any for himself!

    (Where do the stickers come from though?)
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
    ha ha, sorry you got the freaky one! I like that I'm not the only one receiving 6 packages a day!
    the sticker book of course! and now you have a spare one to put on your next post out :)
  • LegogeekLegogeek Member Posts: 714
    LOL! What happened to my thread? (*o*) ...haha

    Back to where I left off... Thanks @PerryMakes who bought a couple of Power Miner sets I had for sale - #8707 Boulder Blaster & #8961 Crystal Sweeper. Was a smooth deal - hope he enjoys them!

    Now, what are these stickers you're talking about? How about some pix so we all know what they look like?
  • MinifigsMeMinifigsMe Member Posts: 2,844
    lol - you'll have to buy or trade with me LG - all my buyers get the added bonus, whether they appreciate it or not ;)

    And man, all those indigostarfish jiffy bags are coming in handy now!

    I would just like to say my recent transaction with Legogeek went very smoothly - if he's ever offering up anything needed in the future, I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to jump all over it.

    Thanks man!

    Just adding my comments to the list... LegoGeek and I swapped some CMF's and everything went extremely smoothly. I used to swap trading cards by mail, but those were easy. LegoGeek kindly provided shipping advice as well. Thanks!
  • LegogeekLegogeek Member Posts: 714
    @Spiral_Fett - it was my pleasure. A nice smooth trade between us. I think we both managed to get a little closer to filling in some gaps in the collections!

    A comment by @legodad about a successful trade reminded me that we had this thread to give a shout out to all the wonderful people that we've dealt with.
    I've done quite a bit of trading/buying/selling over the last few months, and very happy to say I've not had a single bad experience.

    So here's the honour roll, in no particular order:
    @kevbags, @supersympa, @kuwahara, @richo, @andhe, @jenni, @chompers, @mrberre, @Russell844, @coachie, @brewer51, @wagnerml2, @cheshirecat, @stagus, @daddywhale, @leela (still ongoing as she keeps finding more polybags!).

    Plus of course the usual suspects:
    @flump6523, @savage_steel, @atkinsar, @collect_that, @princedraven, @drdavewatford.

    Excellent people, all. Many thanks, I salute you!!

    (sorry if I've forgotten anyone!)

    I want to add a few members to the Honour Roll too for their kindness and help:

    @FatMatt, @Dougout and @Jenni (Double Kudos for her!).

    Live long and prosper Brickset members...
  • JenniJenni Member Posts: 1,390
    ^ I'm blushing :)

    Well after that, I've relatively few trades concluded but @BrickDancer is a pleasure to work with. My husband, while snooping through my emails, was astonished at how incredibly nice @LostinTranslation, @Savage_Steel, @rich69 and @collect_that are though I've not (yet) received anything from them. I have no doubt about LostinTranslation's package arriving next week though.

    But the award for most amazingly helpful person goes to @legonut80 who, apart from completing my S4 collection, is about to take delivery of a Maersk ship for me and hold onto it until I know what country we'll be in in May. Hooray for Hayley!!

    ^ I'm blushing now too :)

    Well I've only traded with @Jenni so far, and has been been a pleasure to deal with :) I'm sure we'll have plenty more trades to come. A great friendship from our love of Lego..... Thanks to Brickset :)

    wagnerml2, and @LegoFanTexas for your recent purchases/trades. Even though LFT tried hard to buy every last one of my SW Brickmasters:)

    Mainly on the back of my recent marketplace thread, I managed to do quite a few trades and fill in a lot of collection gaps. Absolutely hassle free transactions from the following people.

    @dunc8543,
    @redbullgivesuwind,
    @LostInTranslation,
    @flump6523,
    @Matthew,
    @Thezoofox

    Thanks,
    Rich

    Having finally concluded our trade in person I can add @sidersdd, who not only gave me an excuse to go to Brickworld Indy but made a truly awesome AC MOC that I failed to take any pictures of.
  • littletokilittletoki Member Posts: 519
    Great idea for a thread! I've finally done a few trades for the first time. @Legofantexas and @dougts were both more than fair and honest!
  • dougtsdougts Member Posts: 4,110
    and I'll give a shout back to @littletoki for Identifying CMFs for me, and also @Brickdancer for a previous purchase of an MVR along with @Odindusk for a polybag swap. i've never seen such a well-protected polybag, nor will I likely again!

    thanks all!

    Not much from me but I've had excellent stuff from @coachie and really nice chats with @Savage_Steel (about Roller Derby) and got a lovely @LostInTranslation about a poly bag!

    Just completed my first trade with @pumperx and it was nice and smooth, easy, shipped fast and packed well. Now just have to find the time to build it.

    ^ Bloody don't!!! Have just this evening placed three orders of multiple sheets for each of those required for sets I've bought over the past 6 months - there's a lot!!! 00s, just on stickers. Hate them!!! 28 sets x 5 sheets!!

    The worst of them was for the Maersk ship. Thing takes 3 sheets alone and 'had' to order five of each!! Thanks for the trade of that @Richo btw, just to stay on topic. :-)
