There are a few MOCs out there on Rebrickable, but keep coming back to this one. I've also seen BenBuildsLego's Disney Skylines...which may also be an option.
Has anyone out there MOC'd a full-size back of Cinderella Castle?

Between my lack of skill and motivation, I've not come up with one yet...

Finally got around to building #21316 this weekend. Honestly, I like this set quite a bit more in person than I did in photos or review videos and am glad I picked it up (at discount) when I did.

I did a bit of looking around and apparently there quite a few people talking about doing it and pretty much no one who actually has (and posted pics)...

Not on SnapFace, not too worried what they put on InstaChat.

But maybe I'll have to check it out.  Hopefully it can be kit-bashed from a second Castle...

Just finished #75276 - Stormtrooper Helmet and I'm far more impressed than I thought I would be.
I had a bit of a dilemma when applying the stickers though as when I saw the set image on Brickset, the mouth just didn't look right with the gaps at either end of the printed tiles (image from main site below)

So despite my usual 'got to get it centred on the part' way of applying them, I left them off until last and then applied them where I thought they looked best.
Not a great deal to some but I'm very happy with the result and think it looks a lot better.

@bandit778 No worries, I think that is what most of us did.

It actually kind of bugs me when stickers that are only separate because they would otherwise span parts are centered on the parts, leaving gaps. I noticed a whole lot of this on the new Diagon Alley set.

Though I haven't purchased #75978 yet, I wanted to see what the Quidditch shop would look like if I replaced the pink bricks. I made up a mock up of the top two floors as closely as I could with the bricks I had on hand. I won't know how I really feel about the colour until I buy the set but it was fun playing around with the possibilities. I think the Brick, Modified 1 x 2 with Grille adds a bit of texture.

The mouth??? The black and grey striped bit? Surely that's not a mouth?

^I keep waiting for a haul like this for my daughters. My son has benefited several times from lucky scores along the way. My girls could use some more buildings and vehicles for their Friends/Disney city.

I don't know how people aren't more enthusiastic about Trolls. Legit, each one is better than the last. After forgetting to grab the Vibe City set when I went to the Lego Store for Diagon Aley, I was pleased to see that my local TRU finally got it in and went over to pick it up. It legit looks like a Solid Gold stage on LSD (well, perhaps more LSD). The odd little bird thing is actually the needle on a giant turntable. I freakinging love it! :D

Working on my colorful "Friends" Razor Crest. It's slow going. I started out with the plan to make white the "base" color with purple, pink, and blue. Finding some of the parts turns out to be harder than anticipated: many of them are in sets I don't want to raid. Oh well, I'm playing with Lego- it's all good!

If you have them, Sweet Mayhem and a sparkle baby would make perfect replacements for the minifigs!

Well... clearly you're going to need a bigger boat.

I just received some BL orders to build the Fellowship skyline, and I’ll move on to the others soon... too bad his Ideas project wasn’t approved...

I hope you enjoy building them as much as I did! :-)

Yes, agreed, it was a nice rendition of the IJ trilogy. Perhaps he'll upload a version to his own site at some point. It would be one I would consider building and if made as an original Lego set, one I would definitely have considered buying, but I do still want to do the ones based on The Hobbit and then the Star Wars Original Trilogy, so it wouldn't be top of my list.

@560Heliport, I just picked up Hedwig as well and had the exact same thought! A super fun model to be sure. I'll have to try your temp fix on the wing position though!

Was never going to pay aftermarket or prices for this one. So ordered the parts from Lego’s replacement service, all factory fresh and arrived within 10 days (despite the interweb saying up to 7 weeks....). The figures were a pain and a bit pricey but since Luke is about to be a magazine figure that problem goes away (wish I’d waited for that one...)

the sticker is a repo - but the quality is amazingly good from this chap: https://www.ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk/product-page/lego-star-wars-ucs-moc-stickers-for-40th-anniversary-esb

Anyway - fun build and looks amazing. Waiting for my Lego replacement parts for the Nebulon B now...

So the other day I had some stuff come in from Amazon that was sitting at my desk unsorted, and I was on a meeting that I had nothing to do on and found the need to engage my hands.  Ended up opening up the Stormtrooper helmets (#75276)  and built it, and I've got to say... I am very pleasantly surprised.
I already quite liked the look of the helmets, but as I was building I started to get slightly disappointed that it was clearly smaller than I had been expecting.  (I don't know exactly what size I WAS expecting, just... bigger than what's there :P )  But as I built more, I had to admit that not only was the size just fine, but the building methods were great, and it was a super satisfying build.  Came out the other end very happy with the set.
So today, I was on ANOTHER meeting, and I had the Boba Fett (#75277) helmet in by to-build pile... so I decided to build that one today!  Was expecting basically the same build and okay with that... and was again pleasantly surprised!  The build process was significantly different in places, and even the base structure wasn't repeated like I was expecting.  (I thought it was going to be almost like BrickHeadz, where the core is the same but the details on the surface are different.) While there were some repeat areas and ideas, they were definitely not enough for me to remember more than they existed in the build.  It was definitely a surprise that they would be structured so differently and use such different techniques for what appear to be very similar end products.
I haven't picked up the TIE Fighter Pilot or Iron Man helmets yet, and I am tempted to get both of them now, because the other two were really great!

If you thought 8-wide Speed Champion cars were too wide for City streets... #80015 Monkie Kid's Cloud Roadster is centered. I really like this set. If air and spacecraft are swooshable, then this is quite vroomable.

I had to improve my #80015 Monkie Kid's Cloud Roadster. Monkie Kid can't reach the steering wheel! I turned the "Plate 1x2 w. Vertical Grip"s so that the grip is closer to the driver, and put two 2x2 round plates (teal ones from PAB were convenient) under them. Now Monkey Kid can actually drive! :)Edit: "after" picture on top; canopy removed for clarity.

Just built my first Technic set since #8845 in 1981. Things have definitely changed a bit...

Not planning on making a habit of it, but had been pondering trying one for a while and this was down to £20 in Tesco.

Diagon Alley #75978 arrived today and I've finished book 1, Ollivanders and Scribbulus. This has been such an enjoyable build so far. The building techniques are very interesting and so many are new to me. I saw the designer video and a few reviews but it's so much more charming in real life.

I'm with ya! I got #30555 Poppy's Carriage and #41256 Rainbow Caterbus in January, and picked up #41255 Pop Village Celebration today (20% off at Target). In my Lego world, Unikitty and the Trolls are neighbors and friends.
