    ^ That's just a normal polybag price isn't it?

Yes but it is the gift with purchase set for LEGO stores from Sept 1-15 ( in stores only) according to the calendar.

Spotted at Inver Grove Heights WM: 2020 advent calendars, City $19.97, Star Wars and Harry Potter $29.97 each. #11717 Bricks bricks plates $39.97. #76167 Iron Man Armory $29.97 in the Toy clearance aisle. Advent calendars are in a cardboard display between Toys and Hardware- intersection of two main aisles.

It was listed at multiple Walmart’s in my area. They might not have put it out though.

I bought the Star Wars and Harry Potter advent calendars at Wal-Mart yesterday and spotted the Friends one there as well. It's probably YMMV for a few more days.

My Walmart has the hidden side ghost train at 25% off, $59. I'm holding out for a further discount.

Thanks for the info! All the calendars are $10 off, so I grabbed the City one for $20 and Star Wars for $30.

I visited a out-of-the-way Walmart while recently on vacation. I've scored some great deals there in the past. This year, I excitedly rushed to the toy section to see if I would be lucky enough to land a few gems. I turned the corner to the LEGO aisle and was immediately disappointed. Not only were there no deals, there were no sets! The entire LEGO display was empty. Nothing. I eventually found some CMF bags in one of the register lines (series 19). I felt around for any more Foxes at least, but no luck.

So much for that honey hole this year...

Finally starting to see some markdowns and clearance LEGO at Walmart in Canada as they are clearing shelf space for the new sets before Christmas.   Most of the Hidden side sets are 30%-60% off so I was able to pick up most of the sets I was still after. Some Marvel and DC sets marked down as well as a few Lego Movie 2 sets that are still kicking around. No Star Wars or City sets were marked down.

It was also nice to find some new stock on the shelves as well including most of the Harry Potter and Starwars lineups.  I was able to get 15 of the 16 HP minifigures as well.

Picked up two HP calendars as I have a feeling they may be hard to find for most people by November with the figured exclusive to the calendar. Also had a 10 dollar Walmart gift card to burn to make it a bit better.

Lots of sets a our 20% off in clearance aisle. Maybe the WM near me just took a few more days to get to it

#76157 I actually wanted and will take 15% off cash price over monkeying around with VIP points and S@H promos

    What I saw also included #60226 $32, #60227 $48, #41167 $79, #41225 $40, #41371 $24, #41378 $32, #75946 $24, #60234 $32, #41337 $24, several polybags $4 instead of $4.97 (getting #30553 for a Frozen fan cousin), several sets only a few percent off so far but indicates they're likely to come down more late.

Seeing some good deals in the app for the Walmart near my in-laws, just need to try and nudge them in that direction. a D-O at half price would be fun.

I found #75278 D-O for $48.99 (30% off) at the Burnsville store in the clearance aisle. There were 4 left at 6pm today.

Maybe with the coronavirus supply crunch they don't need to discount as much as usual to move what inventory they do have. Lots of small discounts at Target as well

Looks like #77906 (the limited edition Wonder Woman set) is available for pre-order as an exclusive to Walmart after the Fandom release.  For those interested, now might be a good time.

I didn’t see any affiliate agreement with WM for Brickset, however, feel free to remove the link below if I missed it.

I want that #75263 but it doesn’t show up on WM’s web site or in Brickseek. :(
#75278 doesn’t show up in Brickseek either. Is the site even working?

When the SKU doesn't show up in the on site search do this:

Google "lego 75263 sku" or "lego 75278 sku", the first or second result is usually a Brickseek link:

    https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=734041937

Went to four Walmarts today. Got skunked. No deals. I skipped the one where I found #75278 the other day.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 4,281
Ha! I went to four yesterday, also no deals. One even had a bunch of sets on the clearance aisle, with clearance tags on the boxes, but the prices were WM's regular prices for those sets.

Was that Bloomington? I noticed the clearance prices were just the normal price minus the cents. So they were technically a clearance price 🙄

It wasn't Bloomington. Either Hastings or Cottage Grove. The ones I saw were not reduced at all from Walmart's regular prices. One of the stores had a price tag on the shelf for #75318 The Child- $79.99, or maybe a couple cents less.

I really is a mixed bag of what prices you might find.  I see someone mentioned they found #75298 D-O for $48 yet around here if they're clearance it's $50, $40 or $30...all within 10miles of each other.  Yet this same store that had the D-O for $30 had other sets (like Jurassic World) regularly priced at $48 clearance for $45 or other sets $19.97 down to $19 in the clearance aisle.
As mentioned above...I have a couple WM that also have another section of Lego in or near the toys that are regular priced...that might/should be clearanced.  Seems like lot of work to clear out a space, move clearance stuff to that spot to be displayed, put prices of the shelves...only to reprice it a couple days later.  Especially since the "spring" section is mostly wiped clean now.

My walmart had a large quantity of stuff but most was only 25-30% off. There were a couple standouts though, I got a #75941 for $50, #75945 for $12 because I wanted it and it was the last one, and a #71715 for $7. Hopefully some of the stock lasts til the next drop, there are a few other sets they had that I'd buy if they were 50% off.
  • scotty12scotty12 Member Posts: 852
Sure enough...one of my WMs went from 15-30% off on Monday to 50% everything today.

#76157 Wonder Woman vs Cheetah  $30 to $18
    #75278 D-O     $50 to $30
#41375 Friends Heartlake City Pier     $80 to $60
#60234 City People Fun Fair            $20 to $15
#76122 SH Batcave Clayface Invasion  $60 to $40
    #76131 SH Compound Battle   $70 to $50

Can also try this:  Go to walmart website.  Search for Lego 75278.  As long as it finds it there, click on the product.  Then in the address bar for the product, the sku is at the very end.

Found this Boba Fett Helmet at our Mountain View, Ca. Walmart for$40. They had a bunch of LEGO at a table by the LEGO aisle. Decent prices, most were marked down around 25%

Anyone in the SF Bay Area. Walmart Mountain View, CA has one Friends Heartlake City Amusement Pier on clearance for $90 (Retail $130) All other clearance LEGO sets are gone.

I finally got a chance to go to the nearest Walmart for the first time in months. Unfortunately, I just bought a Stormtrooper helmet and need to save up for some Bricklink orders, so I was not in the buying mood. There was some good stuff, 40% of Hidden Side (almost pulled the trigger on the train for $45), 1/2 off 2019 Ninjago Sets, with the Ultra Dragon for only $45, and Bricks Bricks Plates for only $40. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw a Boba Fett helmet in the clearance isle, but it was only $6 off :(
    I contented myself with a full-price extra DOTS series 2 :)

I snagged the HS Train yesterday.  My nearest local store has had a bunch of them sitting on the shelf & up top for at least a month and they finally marked them down the other day, they had about a dozen of them available.  Also grabbed an Olaf for $7 and a second Treehouse Treasures for $13.  Never was able to find the HS Schoolbus at the $13 price.  The only other things I'm still trying to find reduced are a spare HS Graveyard, The Friends Amusement Pier and Creator Townhouse Pet Shop which I fear is long gone.  And any HP at the big discounts but I know my Target won't price match Game Stop.  They make you go to the courtesy desk, won't match anything at the registers.

These good deals people are finding, especially with the new sets being half off. Unfortunately with having a hard time getting much to appear on brickseek lately (and yes Im aware of the workarounds to that) and with the knowledge that typically not much goes on clearance around my area, Im hesitant to burn the gas and time to go from store to store to store hunting for deals.

^I'm with you @madforLEGO. Over the last few years I've watched this thread and Brickseek closely. I can't recall a single time that it's actually panned out for me at any of the nearby Walmarts. I still keep checking for some reason, but it has started to feel more like torture than anything...

Brickseek never really worked for me so I rarely look at it anymore.  Lately I've been relying on Wal-Mart's own app to check for reduced in store prices.  It failed me for the HS School bus but worked for the HS Lighthouse, Newbury High School & now the Train.
