^^ I don’t know why, I was expecting a little more than that! Like a quote or something..

Still a nice thing to have (when mine arrives).

Maybe he had to sign 10,000 of this rare item, so kept it brief.

^ After you said that I asked LEGO customer services to know how many were signed (it’s always good to know how many, when they say exclusive)

There was 3500 signed for the VIP rewards centre.

  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556
Wow, that is a lot. I wasn't that far off, even though I was joking.

The poor sod had to write his name 3,500 times, (excluding the number of times he spelt his name wrong)?

Deadpool Duck is the next sweepstake
  • pxchrispxchris Member Posts: 2,438
I still refuse to throw my points at a sweepstakes... but that one is tempting.

Do they ever announce sweepstakes winners? or just contact them directly?

So here we go yet again.... a GWP (Space Rocket Ride) appeared on VIP and already sold out.. wasn't there midnight last night, but is there but sold out 8am BST.... this'll end up again as one of those "it's been there for days but many people couldn't see it"

  • The_RancorThe_Rancor Member Posts: 2,621
^At least that was just a GWP people might have already. But still, no one’s going to check Lego’s website religiously every day at 7am just in case something goes live. These things might’ve already gone by 7am too anyway!

I hope we get the Fountain one in the U.S. and I can actually redeem for it.  Might get the Tote bag if the points are reasonable but I don't really need it.  No interest in the Duplo one & I have the others already.  Not squandering points on digital downloads or sweepstakes entries.

Of the above, 40178 VIP Gift Set has appeared on UK VIP site this morning - 500 points.. no sign yet of the other 4 items above which may be in other regions that UK or just not on yet.
  • klintonklinton Member Posts: 1,256
There're a bunch of them on the Canadian portal this morning.

Those are a little more expensive pointswise than I was expecting. Was hoping to get both when they were rumored to be upcoming VIP rewards but at that amount of points not sure the brick is worth it

The Fountain is nice as the bright orange bike is out of production now. Statue is great too.
  • jnscoelhojnscoelho Member Posts: 704
I was hoping for the fountain to be available, but I guess it's US exclusive.
  • panchox1panchox1 Member Posts: 722
grabbed a fountain. can only get one though. not sure I want another brick.
  • karritkarrit Member Posts: 1,066
Claimed a code for the Fountain.  Passing on the rest.

Some quite random things on VIP today in the UK... very random indeed, almost as it they've been looking down the back of the sofa

#40290 60 years of the Brick - 2250 points - sold out before even saw it - but already got anyway.

    #853775 Andrea DJ Pod - 1200 points

    #3750052 Friendship rings - 625 points

    #853774 Olivia's satellite Pod - 1200 points

#853917 lego creative stationery set - 2100 points

Haha anything that’s ever worth having like the 60 Years set is always sold out pretty much as soon as they add it. Considering its value to collectors 2250 points seems like a steal. I wonder if TLG should hike up the points required to get some of these things - sure it will annoy some people but it could also mean mere mortals who save up their points over time have a chance of getting them. (I do already have the 60 years set though)

Not wanting to correct here, it's just the only one of those I'm really tempted by is the friendship rings and the link above goes to a "not in the database" page.
For anyone else that needs/wants them...
    #5005237 Friendship rings.
So, I strongly suspect it was a simple typo or editing window auto-correct error of the kind I encounter all too often!
  • ShropshireShropshire Member Posts: 658
Yes was a typo looks like the cursor simply jumped to the start eg. it has all the right numbers, but not necessarily in the right order.

That's Numberwang! Yes, I know you're referencing something else, but I like to mix it up a bit!

Heard there’s another sweepstake coming in July with Bizarro on offer. Not my thing but worth keeping an eye out if you like the sweepstake thing.

There are 7 new Fiat 500 limited and numbered "Art Prints" on VIP - an eye popping 2800 points each so a bargain 19,600 points for the set (£122.50 value)
  • ShropshireShropshire Member Posts: 658
Oh, and of course if you got all 7 prints, you'd have to place 7 separate orders within the 60 days !!!!! they should have created a bundle for all 7 perhaps for anyone wanting all, as placing 7 orders in 60 days will be a tall order and more likely it will put people off getting them one at a time over many months as they could run out.

Does anyone else have the problem of only being able to redeem points by phone or on the website but NOT for a discount in a physical store? (sorry if this question has been asked before)

This is one of the changes to the VIP program last year. You have to go online (or by phone) and 'buy' vouchers for discounts, then when you're in the store you simply tell the employee at checkout that you want to use your vouchers.

In my experience, the person at the checkout has always asked me if I want to use any of my vouchers without me even prompting them. Helpful if you've forgotten about the voucher in all the excitement of being at a kego store.

I thought I read somewhere that the voucher is also attached to your account so if they scan your VIP card they will see it available.

I think every time I've used a voucher, I've told them as I'm handing them my card that I want to use the voucher- so there's no chance of them ringing up my purchase and then having to amend it.

Yeah, I know how the new system works, but at the moment in my rewards page, there is no option for a “buy in store voucher”, only through phone or online... is this only me or do you have it too?
  • benbacardibenbacardi Member Posts: 712
On mine, the "by phone" voucher is actually an "in store or by phone" voucher. The online one is distinct.
  • wardmwardm Member Posts: 888
Yeah, mine is the same, but the 'in store' and 'by phone' used to be separate. So can you use the 'by phone' voucher for in store as well?
  • benbacardibenbacardi Member Posts: 712
I haven't tried it, but I've only ever seen two vouchers:

    - "Get £- off your next purchase in the LEGO Store or by phone."
    - "£- voucher for LEGO.com"

That's how it's always been for me. If that's what yours says too, what makes you think you can't use the top one in store? It seems pretty clear to me.

I really think it used to be seperated into three different vouchers. There was a seperate one for in-store...
I was thinking it got removed maybe because of COVID so not too many people go to stores?
  • CCCCCC Member Posts: 20,556

Perhaps it was different in Belgium? But definitely in the UK it was only ever two vouchers.

From my rewards history, this time last year:
