    Okay so what if we set up a flikr group. That way people can post what they took and then people can look and take part if they want to and easy to avoid if people really dont want to know. We can limit it to just what people took so keeps it a surprise. What do you guys think? It also means this thread can be used for problems or queries.

    I wouldn't mind joining if this is happening again/still happening next year or so. I am not currently in the country, but will be then, and I would be interested.
  • andheandhe UKMember Posts: 3,534
    @redbullgivesuwind I'd be interested in a Flickr group if you're setting one up. For me its not a trust issue, I just enjoy seeing what people have got and what they're going to do with it. I love the fact that everyone has different collections and things they want/would use. One man's trash is another man's treasure! Think it best to keep pictures clear of here so people can avoid them easily if they want.

    @andhe Okay ill set a group up tomorrow. Then post the link here and on the message. That is how i saw it not keeping up and judging but just being nosy as to what people took and want to use.
  • andheandhe UKMember Posts: 3,534
    Sounds good! I think I'm somewhat of a lego voyeur.

    ^arent we all?

    Okay so the group is http://www.flickr.com/groups/pickandmix

    Dont have to post at all what you take out and put in or anything at all for that matter but would be nice to see.

    I have a lot of bricklink orders on the way, and a package arrived this morning - my first reaction was "eh - I didn't order this", and then "star wars? what? I dont even collect star wars". I was convinced that some bricklink seller had sent me the wrong order. Then it slowly dawned on me that all the bags are different. Plus, there's no way someone would order this lot off bricklink - or of they did, I'd LOVE to see what they were planning to build with it all. Now that would be one crazy model.

    Actually, maybe that should be the challenge for whoever gets it last. They should have to build something using every one of the bricks that are left over at the end.

    @Si_Droking_Surrey_UK Brilliant idea. :D

    Why is anybody last? Surely it just goes on circulating through the postal system, from one AFOL to another, forever? The list will change over time, of course, but there's no need for it to end ... :-)
