Over the weekend it looks as if some of the lowest forms of life stole a whole load of LEGO from Fairy Bricks.

apologies for the facebook link.

Anyone seeing bulk deals, or anything fishy looking, please report it to the police. From the pictures, it really looks like the charity has been targetted, which really, really sucks.

I hope the theives are caught swiftly.

Too angry and saddened to comment more.

Unfortunately this isn't the first time Fairy Bricks has been targeted. It wasn't that long ago that their van prior to this one was broken into.
Just goes to show that despite there being a global crisis and people like Fairy Bricks trying to make a small difference in the world, there are still a small scum sucking section of the population that have the morals of a turd and deserve a very special (and hot) place set aside for them in the afterlife. Hope they catch them soon and the stolen gear can be returned to Fairy Bricks without loss.

Disgraceful. And will probably all be gone via facebook and bootsales in a couple of weeks. I guess they thought Friends Advent calendars are not worth the hassle.

It is amazing how well @sirkevbags has developed it since that raffle all those years ago. I hope LEGO can step in and help out with replacements.

Makes me especially angry since this is the second time they've been clearly specifically targeted.  Scumbags.

An update on the sets taken, again, on Fairy Bricks facebook page.

If you don't do facebook, these were the ones taken in large quantities:

Utter scum, I hope they get greedy and get caught. Always a highlight of any show to have a few goes on the FBs tombola. We have so many odd minifigs and polybags we've one and a couple of star prize sets. The work they do is amazing providing sets for children in hospitals. I'll keep my eyes open on marketplace and ebay.

I think all of those sets were very cheap in B&M recently, so someone selling them in quantity doesn't mean they are responsible. Obviously if someone is selling them, then alert police rather than vigilante action. I know the TLM2 set with the banana was £4, I bought a load of them.

So they've recovered the van, hopefully they get some leads from it.

Article on the BBC website about it - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-53408525.

The article says between £300,000 and £400,000 worth of Lego has been stolen, but they've had a positive response from the public (likely including a lot of good people who post on here) and were getting support from Lego.

Let's hope the police can catch the utter scumbags that did this and Fairy Bricks get all the lost Lego back, as well as a lot of extra donations that they can put to good use!

wow, that's a ton of stuff to move. Probably required several trucks or a lot of trips and a warehouse to store it.

If they’ve found the stolen van, I hope there’s a forensics team looking into any fingerprint or DNA evidence. Hopefully something extra that’ll give them a lead.
