Ninjago #71710 and 71713, and Extra DOTS series 2 #41916. Target had the new Dots sets, most of them anyway. I didn't see the new single bracelets, but they had the larger sets that come in trays, plus the extra Dots. I also bought cat litter to sprinkle into all of my loose LEGO. ...What, isn't that correct?

My Target also had all of DOTS series 2 on shelves this past weekend. Actually, I was there when the Target employee was unboxing and placing them. NE Florida.

DOTS' next wave launches on May 24th according to LEGO's website, so it's no wonder these sets are starting to pop up.

40370; the 40th Anniversary LEGO Trains set As a fan of the older LEGO stuff  I always liked it (and completely started drooling when I first saw it), but couldn't really afford the threshold for the GWP promotion. Found one for $22 on Bricklink; $25 with shipping. Given the set is 188 pieces, not too overpriced.  I thought the thing would be like fifty bucks or more; now that two months have passed since it was the GWP.

This is also my first LEGO Trains set. I'm already messing with Marklin (and this set reminds me exactly of 3000; the DB Class 89 found in cheap sets), so who knows. I may get into LEGO trains.

I picked up another #21318 at the LEGO store the other day.  It’s about all they had that you couldn’t get online or at Walmart.  But it was great to be back in there.  The brick wall was covered up, basically they only had sets. They still had the dots mini frame promo.

The line to get in was as bad as any Black Friday.

Just placed nine BL orders to cover the build of three 1970s F1 car MOCs from RoscoPC on Rebrickable. Stickers that he gets printed are coming in from Italy later, but I'm excited to be adding some Speedchampion sized racers to my stash for just under £20 a car before shipping.

Let's see....A couple BL orders for my C8 came, replacement logs for my second #7597 passenger car came, waiting on the Bible stained glass from EclipseGrafix, another B&P order, and some new DOTS.

Wasn't sure which thread to post this in, but I found this at my local Target in South Carolina, USA this afternoon...

Both Knight Bus sets on the shelf were stickered to include piece count. I don't think I've ever seen this before. Distribution solution?

Maybe they are using the European manufacturing to cover for the closing of the Mexico factory for a short bit?

@Bumblepants, wouldn't this solution have worked for LEGO House, and their sets?

Probably. It makes less sense to go to that effort for a one off offer though, as opposed to addressing a critical supply shortage in their primary market.

This fills (or partially filled) pre-existing contracts though. No vendors could have ordered any Lego house items as those aren't sold to general retailers.

I placed an order at midnight. Always tricky trying to decide what to get if not a big Lego exclusive as most other stuff would see big discounts from other retailers. To get just over the £85 threshold, I ended up with the big Demon Mech thing from Monkie Kid as that seems pretty good value anyway, plus the Harry Potter minifig pack as I'm assuming that'll only be available from Lego.

Half of the June 1 releases are still listed as Coming Soon on the Aus website, and the Harry Potter stuff that was available is out of stock already...🤨

Does anyone know how long it usually takes new set inventory to be available on Bricks and Pieces?
  • klintonklinton Member Posts: 1,250
The new Hidden Side sets are still "Coming Soon". :(
I ordered a couple of the Harry Potter student packs, the new Falcon and Widow pack, and a couple other things to qualify for the hot rod and beach buggy promos. Hopefully the Hidden Side stuff pops up in the next couple of weeks or so.

I've been checking on the Haunted Mansion set parts since it was released to VIP but still not there yet.  Maybe they were waiting for the official release date although you can't even order it right now.  I didn't think it took as long for Barracuda Bay to be put up although none of the new parts were available at first.  I don't think it's a priority for them right now to make parts from the new sets available on Bricks and Pieces.

I was hoping most of what I had on my wishlist was available. I got Destinys Bounty and the Creator Pirate Ship. I got a fair bit. I did get Barracuda Bay this afternoon though. Hoping it goes through without a hitch. As for Monkie Kid I'm waiting for the Warrior Mech to come back in stock.

@Fodder I put my order in at 20 past 12 and things were going out of stock then. BY the morning most of the new sets that were available were out of stock. So [email protected] got very little by the look of it. Maybe the Lego stores will have more. My local toy store where I told them I'd buy the new Harry Potter sets from said they were expecting them around July so who knows.

I've just recieved #75956 from a backorder on [email protected] and it has the stickers. There's one over the barcode and another on the top indicating where the various components were manufactured. :)

@vanvonful just wondering how long it took for your BnP order to be shipped after ordering?
  • vanvonfullvanvonfull Member Posts: 268
    12 days.
  • FodderFodder Member Posts: 356
I made a big BnP order with some of the new stingrays and hammerhead sharks on the 3rd, that has shipped on the 12th, and the Xtra Sea accessories that I added to make the shipping free is still in warehouse..
  • msandersmsanders Member Posts: 1,017
Yeah, I went a bit crazy on BnPs. Too many exciting new pieces, recolours and animals!!! I try not to think about the sets that I could have got with the amount I`ve spent but I just love pieces. I am definitely turning into a pieces collector! I have all of these thoughts about how to use them in MOCs although I never find the time.

My problem is that as years go by my taste in LEGO changes... there are sets I liked when I bought them, but as years passed I liked them less and less.  Keeping a nice box really helps with my resale, which in turn lets me buy more of the sets I like today!

^ I hate to sound like a fan boy but, there aren't too many Lego sets I don't like. Granted, some or most of the late 90's sets sucked but I don't own too many of them. So I can honestly say I love all of the sets I own for one reason or another. I don't get tired of seeing my sets built. Maybe I'm too easily pleased.

Got my #10277 Crocodile Locomotive delivered yesterday, but the box is a bit beat up. Like @oldtodd33 says, if it for myself, no biggie (actually the worse the box is the more I have no problem opening it). But if it is a gift or to hold onto though I would prefer to have a better condition box.

#80011. Lego.com said it was out of stock at Mall of America, but I went anyway to get #80007 as next best (to me) but they did have #80011! Woo hoo!!
