Could be interesting with their frequent and stacking promotions.

Please let us know if you find a LEGO product that is eligible for promos or coupons. As far as I can tell, you can only earn and redeem Kohl's Cash and Yes2You rewards on them.

I wouldn't hold my breath just yet - if you look at the exclusions list, they do not allow coupons on toys in general.

But are they selling whole babies? I see baby oil and baby powder for sale frequently, but never see whole ones for sale...

Ooo... facing a dark path, we are.  That banner clearly shows a complete NISB baby.

So, mentioning baby's breath would be going too far, then?

They sold Bionicles back in the day. It was my dark ages then, and those early series cannisters looked really weird to me.

@Astrobricks Reminds me of ninth (?) grade. Whenever someone said they were eating Chinese, the homeroom teacher would cry, "That's cannibalism!"

Sorry, no matter what the condition of the package, there WILL be leakage...

The store near where I grew up (Duluth MN) had Lego when I was a kid in the early 90’s. Not a big selection, and not priced to sell if I remember...but still fun to visit for a kid in a store full of clothes.

Considering the babies come in boxes I assume all moms would see that as frustration free packaging, also what part of the baby do they make the wipes from

Encountered my first lego in Kohl's on Friday. I find it hilarious that you have to cross refernce the digital signs for prices by set number, although I guess it's better than price labels on the boxes.
I have some Kohls cash from the trip, so I may have to return this week.

I haven’t checked my nearby Kohl’s yet, but if they are using the set number on the little LCD price signs, that is good. I hate it when Target doesn't put the set number on the shelf tags. Half the time the tag just says something like “LEGO constr toy” or similar.

We've been so busy talking about Kohls having Lego, but did anyone notice that Michaels now carries Lego as well (and yes, their coupons are excluded). https://www.michaels.com/search?q=lego   I'm guessing this is the result of no Toys R Us in the US.

I wouldn't know, I do not shop at Michael's after their multiple data losses. I guess I could go there if I only want to use cash

I saw several sets at Kohl's tonight for 40-50% off, including #31083 which I nabbed. Other sets spotted included the newer Fantastic Beasts sets, Avengers Infinity War sets, some Star Wars, Lego Movie 2, and Adventure Time. YMMV, of course...

@evantyler Were they marked by a sign or stickers in-store?
    evantyler
  • evantylerevantyler Member Posts: 86
@CaptainRogers In this particular Kohl's (Columbus, Ohio -- west side) there was a small red "Clearance" sign in the corner of the Toy section, and the various LEGO sets had individual yellow stickers on them indicating the discount percentage and price. They were all (mostly) underneath/near the red clearance sign, but the department was kind of a mess.

I believe this to be the default state of all Khol's toy departments and not an anomaly.

I scanned some items and they were actually 40% off.

Found a few more Harry Potter CMFs at 40% off at another location.
On a related note, I really want to know what Lego set costs the same as a small used car.

Just picked up two copies of #70831 Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket! for $27.99 each. After tax it was just under $60, plus received an additional $15 in Kohl's cash I can use tomorrow. Gonna hit another Kohl's with that money and see what I find.

Got 2 copies of #75219 Imperial AT-Hauler for $40 apiece. Used $15 in Kohl's cash. Got another $15 in Kohl's cash. I'd call that a win.

Had enough Kohl's Cash and Yes2You Rewards left over from clearance to pick up 4x 60196 and 3x 75928 for $25 for pick up in-store. This was after buying about $800 in clearance for 50% - 60% off.  All from one local store.

Has anyone seen a sign walking into Kohls about an in-store LEGO event/build Dec 8??  I glanced at it as I walked in but forgot to check it as I left.

Clearance section was a mess tonight (as always) but found one #75974-1 in the area with no clearance sticker on it. On a whim, I scanned it at the price checker...and it was $4.99--90% off! YMMV, of course, but wow. Was not expecting that. And a beat up Friends Advent Calendar still rang up at full price! Weird.

Finally tried Kohl's and found a lonely Grindelwald's Escape for $4. Not bad for parts at that price.

So, I have $25 in Kohl's Cash and Rewards...I'm curious (since I have a 30% coupon that apparently won't work on Lego or toys)...what is a typical percentage off for Lego at Kohl's?  I expect it's only 10%.  How often are those kind of sales?  Thanks in advance!

In my experience, not very frequently.  Before Christmas, they had select sets at 20-30% off for a few weeks.  Since Christmas I have not seen a single sale event on any of the Lego sets.  Not sure if they will go on sale closer to Easter or some other toy-buying holiday.

PS - None of the Kohls discount codes or coupons work on Lego sets.
  • jmeninnojmeninno Member Posts: 1,216
Thanks!  I just tried my 30% off code in their app, just in case.  But, no dice.

A bit more clearance going on. Sets are marked 25% off but are scanning for 50% off. I only found the one set pictured and #71023 Lego Movie 2CMFs for $2.09.

I didn't see any clearance stickers on any Lego yesterday in my local Kohl's store.  I wasn't really interested in any of the few sets they had on the shelves so I didn't bother to scan anything.  The manager doesn't seem to grasp the clearance concept anyway as he marks incomplete set items at the full retail price of the remaining parts & slaps a clearance sticker on thinking people will buy at a non-discounted price.  I've seen some stuff sit on the shelf for over a year without any further price reduction in that store.  I have gotten a few deals but never on Lego.
  • scotty12scotty12 Member Posts: 852
I saw a few of those 2 weeks ago at my local Kohl's.  Maybe if they get to 70-80% off I'll think about it, but I doubt it.  The Lego Movie sets are only good for parts/pieces.
The store also had lots of Advent Calendars left too...only 20-25%off.
  • Jeffrey_pt_2Jeffrey_pt_2 Member Posts: 31
I was in my local kohl's and they are taking an additional 30% off the already marked clearance price.

I went to two stores and got some LEGO Movie 2 minifigs, one series 16 minifig, #70830 Systar Starship, #70827 Ultrakatty & Warrior Lucy, and the Harry Potter advent calendar for 55% off. Oh yeah, I also found an opened #30365 Space Satellite polybag. I haven't built it yet to make sure all of the pieces are there but the figure and, at least, most of everything else is there. At one store, I got a voucher for $10 Kohl's cash for spending more than $50. I'm not sure if you get $10 back for every $50 you spend or just $10 regardless of how much over 50 you spend.

It's usually $10 for every multiple of $50.

Thanks for the heads up! 47 sets at 30% off and an additional 30% back in Kohl’s cash is one of the best deals I have ever seen on Lego. Clearance pricing is always a hit and miss thing in individual stores with most of it going to the first reseller in the store. I hope this is a hit for Kohl’s and it encourages them to do it more often with different sets.

^thanks. Never been to a kohl’s but I’ll be going there to pick up $100 marvel set for 70, plus some cash to spend later.

Only one more set to go for the endgame/infinity war waves.

    Pretty sweet flash sale.
