Like Big Lots for example
Found #4996 for $7 at Savers, was only missing the box and glass for one small window. I mixed up two 1x2 black for 1x2 grey, will have to go back and fix that tonight.

A bit of buyers remorse because I jumped at the opportunity but I kinda got the feeling these fell off a truck.
It was all bagged up but I was able to take a pretty decent inventory evaluation. I knew it was missing most of the mini-figs and the row boats but it otherwise looked to be fairly complete. It even had the instructions (though in a rather beat up state). And most importantly it had the raised baseplate in excellent condition.
So after getting home and doing a full inventory, I was very pleased to find that it indeed was at least 80% complete. I knew that I should be able to come close to completing it out of my own parts collection. I then managed to find nearly all of the missing parts, including replacing some pieces with ones in better condition from my collection. I also had all of the minifigs for it. The only thing I need to replace is the string and I need another of the large flags without broken clips.
So, all told, for about $40 I'm going to once again have a complete #6276!
In addition I snagged #6265 at the con for a pretty decent deal. So I'm gearing up to have a pretty nice Imperial Soldier display going on before too long!
8205 Bungee Blaster
42036 Street Motorcycle
42037 Formula Off-Roader
42044 Display Team Jet
42057 Ultralight Helicopter
However, it comes at the extra expense that since I laid them all out to check condition... the earworm "Mambo no. 5" has forced it's way into my brain.
A little bit of Molly in my life

A little vint-age red space-man.
Do-do, do-do.
Sorry.
Three different shops in £6 and £7 bags, with odd collection of other bits (no sets). There's a weird repetition of missing parts - and where are the heads? Why? All look to be virtually un-played with though, very strange. Also got a Greyback in one if the bags.
Happy to pickup 10214 Tower Bridge second hand for €120. Two or three small pieces missing but i'll pick them up on BrickLink for a few euro.

Pretty sweet deal in my opinion. Currently the Black Seas Barracuda is going for an average of well over $300 on eBay in the US. It was very evident after dismantling everything and inventorying it that this is the re-issue set #10040 not the original #6285 as I'd hoped (no set number was on the listing and no instructions). But I truly cannot complain for that price! The pieces all looked virtually brand new, the sails are in amazing condition. It was 99% complete only missing a small handful of pieces (already grabbed out of my collection) and 1 minifigure.

Its ok to start a thread to ask for advice on pricing. But you will get the standard advice - check recent sold prices on Bricklink and eBay. If you want to sell locally without the overhead of those sites, try local oriented sites like FB Marketplace, Craigslist, or NextDoor. But you’ll almost certainly need to set a price lower than BL or eBay.
Welcome to the forums, btw!
