Ten thousand. All in advance. Or you can pay me two thousand now, plus fifteen when you reach Alderaan. No, wait, no more Alderaan...

I have to ask- are you dismantling all these sets before you move on to the next theme?  Or do you have room after room filled with display cases? :-)

@KungFuKenny I have a one bedroom apartment full of LEGO. I really need to dismantle a lot- but that's no fun. A lot of what I've been showing hasn't been built in years, so it's almost like building a new set!

I'm going to bag sets separately as I dismantle them. I made the mistake once of putting all of my Pirate sets (just about everything from 1989 to 1996, all the big sets, only missing a few of the smallest ones) together in one box. Do you realize how many black plates, for instance, are in that many Pirates sets? The next time I wanted to build them, I sorted by color, then had to sort the black pieces into 1x whatever plates, 2 x whatever plates, 1 x whatever bricks, etc. because small black pieces are very hard to spot in the shadows of other pieces.

Well, I finished up #21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay yesterday evening. I stretched it out as much as I could manage because I really wanted to enjoy all of it, so I'm a bit sad to have it come to an end. Truly a wonderful build just full of nostalgia from beginning to end. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire build!

Up next will be the conversion into the full ship.

A bounty hunter duo with a ship similar in the vein of Slave 1 I made for May the 4th and forgot to share here.

Nice! in the landing position, it also resembles a YV-666

I've been on a Technic kick for some time now & have taken to building existing sets with collection parts. Thx to trades w/ members @mak0137 , @hoodaddy (& others) I can build almost any existing set provided it's not too outlandish 😉 Sets like Tracked Loader, Fire Plane & #9398 4x4 Crawler really come in handy for necessary parts.

So here are my versions of #42005 Monster Truck & #42095 RC Stunt Racer, which IMO was a considerable improvement over the 2017 RC Racer. Adding 1x1 round plates to the treads really helps with traction- I only just learned that technique while researching the model.

    #75258 Anakin's Podracer – 20th Anniversary Edition
but i feel bad for unboxing it.. the box is the best box art i ever seen.

Revisiting my C8.  I was looking at photos more closely, the nose is quite similar to the FXX in set # 75882, so I took inspiration from that.

I only have #9500-1 . not seeing it here. maybe it's not a TIE.
  • 560Heliport560Heliport Member Posts: 3,715
It's technically not a TIE, it's from 4000 years before the Skywalker Saga, but it does resemble one.

I bought two of the latest TIE Fighter and 2 of the latest X Wing for Red 5 and Red 3. Just waiting for them to do an updated TIE Advanced so I can do the last moments of the trench run.

Another picture of my cat, Jack. Oh, and some LEGO TIE ships. I have Vader's TIE Fighter from #7150, but I don't know where. Same for #30276 F.O. Special Forces TIE Fighter.
What? No #75095? Or did Jack make you move it? ;-)

and my parts collection ranked is 4090th

Sets 327th, parts 1005th. But I have a lot of loise parts that aren't counted: dozens, maybe even 100 large PAB cups, and used loose parts from a dealer at an antique mall.

But one problem - when I click on that #560 it doesn’t take me to the right set either ;-)

    Cool!

So, were you a kid with OCD who kept a database of all his sets, or did you reconstruct it years later through instruction booklets and rebuilding sets?

    #75975 Watchpoint: Gibraltar
    Is done.

added in my " #75970 Tracer vs. Widowmaker " to it, who i have had for over a year at this point (look's it up, i got it back on 15/02/2019)
As you can see from the pic, i have moved the Tower to the left side, as the place i am going to display it, it would not fit if the tower was on the right side. as it is it only just fit's with it how i built it. (Rockit takes up more space then the tower)

time spent building Watchpoint: Gibraltar is "2 hours 45 minutes".
total time spent building set's from what i am now calling "Chrisalddin mad spedding spray." is "13 hours and 15 minutes."
