    oh grate.
    when i added Tantive IV #75244 it was showing as "Available now" but by the time i was done with checkout it said "Back orders accepted, will be shipped by 8 May 2020"
    so i have no idea if i got back order or the last of the "Available now"

    The cheek of putting the action battle sets in the main May 4th sale when they’ve already been on sale for a while at 20% off is astonishing! At least go for the 50% increased discount or something - I would’ve considered it for the biggest Hoth battle set just for minifigs and spare parts plus launchers.

    I think the Droid Commander deal is probably the only decent deal on there. I’m sure it’s been less elsewhere at some point but nice to see a reduction on that all the same as I bet a few people were just considering it when not at RRP. TLG’s deals can never compete with other retailers nowadays anyway.

    Anyway, amongst it I still ordered the A-Wing, all the helmet sets and put a VIP sweepstake entry in (plus some VIP reduction to soften the financial blow in lieu of real sales). I’ll double check VIP in due course.

    ^ It was available in Argos in November for £96 and in december for £84. Which was just above and below 50 % off. 
    I don't  think the freebie and double points are worth £ 75 + .

    Droid Commander is not a good offer, for a gimick set.
    also r2d2 look wrong with the big car wheels on show. (thay did not even try to hide them.)

    ok orders is now showing on lego.com track order and my "Tantive IV" is not a Back orders but show as "In Process" Yippey....

    just need the "Lego HOUSE" set to pop up and i am gold.

    So only watches and key rings are on sale in the US now. Unless LEGO adds something later, I don't thing I'll be placing an order. I've been on the fence of stopping to collecting Star Wars sets, and this just might be what I need to stop. Only question is do I decide to sell me 500+ sets if I stop or part them out?

    Wasn't as accurate of a crystal ball as I thought. It's even worse in the US! Zero sales at all. I wonder if they're saving up for all the discounts on May the 4th?

    Guess I'll be saving my money for all the new Harry Potter sets.  There were a few SW sets I would have considered buying if they had put them on sale.

     May the 4th promo was so lame this year that the site didn’t crash and I was able to place an order.  Was in bed and sound asleep by 12:15.  It’s a Mandalorian miracle.

    lego.com Crash did happen at 11.20 PM GMT..... about 5 hours and 40 mins before your whent live.

    First, the $64,000 question: Are we going to have to do this every night to see if they will have daily deals?

    I got in an order for TIE Pilot Helmet and the T-16 and Bantha microfighter. Also added my Droid Commander polybag reward. So, productive order, I guess. Double VIP offsets the 5% I would have gotten at Target with my Red Card, but I do get credit card points, so that's a very slight positive. Obviously the big thing is the GWP.

    I still have a code for another of the poly bags, so I will probably place another order. Will wait to see if any actual sales show up over the weekend though.

    It's officially day 2 in Australia, but the day 1 tat offers are the same. Wonder if we'll get anything new at midnight?

    ^ Best indicator for UK/Europe is probably yo check Estonia lego site at about 10pm GMT. Whether that exactly translates yo what UK/Western Europe and the US gets is anyone's guess.

    It’s not a sale anymore.  It’s just an event.  And it’s bad.  I may not be buying Star Wars sets for myself anymore but this WAS the time of year I stocked up on presents for kids birthday parties etc.  Luckily, I’m still sitting on a bunch of Brickheadz I got years ago and it should cover this years gifts.   I’m hoping something still comes through on the 4th though.  Come on LEGO!

    "special offers" i see the UAS [email protected] so called "special offers" and i can tell you not one of them is special in anyway.

    edit, to give you a idea, i added about 15 star wars set's on to my wish list to track them better, before the sale (uk) the list was all green redey to go. now i see a lot of RED out of stock.

    edit 2 -- it was 19, and 10 are out of stock.

    we are all stick at home. with Zip to do, building lego set's kill time. even with item only haveing 10% VIP cashback program. for the uk the set's are warking out the door. (metaphorically speaking)
    i have One main Guide line fo Buying from UK [email protected], Only buy set's that are "lego Store exclusives", and i try to stick to that. (note the word TRY!)

    Yeah, stock in the US is dropping pretty rapidly too. All of the new helmets are out. I've got a 2nd Droid Commander polybag code I will need to use at some point. I had thought I would use both this weekend and pick up 2 of the GWP, but not looking like it at all. Don't know how I would get to $75 at the moment. Don't think I want the Tantive IV at full price. All the small sets I want only add up to ~$55. Might have gone on and ordered a 2nd of the helmets, but they're gone.

    Big disappointment at the moment.

    Well this May 4th GWP could have been better though LEGO is using it to promote the UCS A-Wing set. My list of sets to buy is:
    -2019 Tantive IV;
    -Raider AT-ST;
    -x2 Mandalorian BP;
    -Bantha vs Skyhopper;
    -Obi Wan House;
    -x2 white baseplates;
    -Bricks and Pieces (it's available in the US).
    If from here until Monday they add the UCS MF I am so spending VIP points to get the cost as low as possible.

    well for the sale part of this May the 4TH, this was a complet let down.

    BTW UK "Tantive IV" sold out.

    Yes, @chrisalddin , what bpk2300 said! I just checked TopCashback, and it shows me just 3% at Lego.com. 20% would definitely make me feel better about placing another order!

    no idea, but in the past when my order shiped out after the % droped back down, it still tracked at the right %.

    I caved last night & ordered some of the smaller sets.  Spent enough to get the SW GWP, Mother's day card GWP, Poppys Carriage (which I already have) & cash in my Droid Commander Code.  Alternate plan was to back-order the Minions set to snag the Mother's day promo & get my Droid Commander VIP.  Guess I'll wait til later in the month to order the Minions.

    I think the Rocketship Ride code expired in April.  I know at one point I saw an expiration date on the website in addition to the requirement to spend $130 on an order to use it.  I think it was only valid for 2 weeks.
