'You don't need to be playing frisbee in the park or going to funerals!'
I visited London AFOLs in November 2017, invited by Tim from New Elementary, I built the log cabin as featured in the article titled: London AFOLs: Real-World.
I've managed to sell a few no-longer-needed non-Lego bits and bobs on ebay recently, so I thought I'd treat myself to this brand spanking new, bona fide, Made in Denmark, illuminated shop sign that I came across a few days ago on ebay.de. Been after one for a while. What a ruddy bewdee!
I'm a bit low on shelf and wall space down in the man-cave at the minute, but I'm sure I'll find somewhere to put it :-)
April... pandemic...
Brings May flowers!!!
Unfortunately the company that makes the display cases I use is closed temporarily due to the virus, so I’ll have to wait on installing for a while...
My status... finally building up my Pirates sets in anticipation of getting Barracuda Bay. #6265 Sabre Island and #6276 Eldorado Fortress built yesterday, and I'll get #6274 Caribbean Clipper finished today! :-D Pics to come.
Dang.
List: Treehouse, bookstore, Chinese New Year, barracuda, fiat
I'm going to try to get some decent pics tomorrow of them all built.
I joined Flickr in 2011 but haven't done much over the past years. I find the user interface confusing and I also lack a good photography backdrop. The frequent changes in ownership were also not very encouraging...
It's shot near the river bank, thought you couldn't tell.
Keep thinking about finally building Dorado, but instead I'm breaking the law and shoot Lego in the wild.
Pancakes anyone? My GWP was also destroyed. I've never had this happen from Lego before. It's too bad, because my modular boxes are the only ones I keep.
Maybe Johnny Thunder or Henry Jones were beheaded on the jobsite? Mysteries abound...
After moving the crane down to my city, it's a bit huge!
Perhaps it could be possible to make one?
Regardless, it's very nice!!!
Tuesday we had to rebuild the bottom floor of my MOC cafe (far left building at the front) as it had been made over three baseplates in the previous layout. Took a couple of hours and it was slotted back in on a single 32x32. To the right of it is my improved Chinatown market using some Ninjago sets
Then it was time for a sit down and an ice cream. Before Emmet and his Thricycle drove through!
My Lego status today: blessed. Woke up to find my stimulus money in my bank account AND my Pirates of Barracuda Bay set arrived ;)
Got the ones I wanted, plus a couple'a extras. Took less than twenty minutes, so it wasn't too bad. Thanks Target.
Really hope to dive into this later today!
Did anyone else get this, reply, and then receive the code?
I'm going to have to take some current pictures of Pepsterville, but I venturing in building a technic set with the LEGO® Technic™ 42082 Rough Terrain Crane. I'm thinking of of putting the crane on the outskirts of town making it look like it is helping to build a building.
I guess I'll have to get my hands on one another way.
Shes only ever built a brickhead, and she’s generally not interested in Lego, so things are lookin up.
it has to be here. should still be in its original shipping box.
