    Still in deconstruction mode. Just about to start on #75827 which has been languishing at the back of the shed for ages. Opening it up reminded me what a brilliant set it is. Might just sit and look at it for a while before starting

    My Rock Raiders. #4980 The Tunnel Transport is one of my favorite LEGO sets- a helicopter that flies in caves? Awesome!

    I’m really enjoying seeing your collections @560Heliport !  The Rock Raiders video game was also pretty fun back in the CD-ROM days... I find it interesting that #4970 Chrome Crusher could be built with the drill on either side... the game and the official pic on Brickset show it on the opposite side of your model...

    But some instruction manuals have it on the other side...

    Maybe it was a regional difference?  (I know it’s trivia but thought it interesting nonetheless).  Keep the collection pics coming!

    @KungFuKenny I'm planning the 1999 (jungle) Adventurers next. I thought the raised baseplates for #5986 and #4990 were nested together in a box in a closet... Instead, they were in separate boxes. But I found them both! I really need to inventory my stuff. (When I moved to this apartment five years ago, it was on just three weeks notice- my landlord was renting me half of a duplex (basically a basement "mother-in-law" apartment)... in a neighborhood not zoned for duplexes. So I got the hell out as quick as I could. But I had lots of built LEGO sets and dozens of 12" action figures to pack.)

    Finally started #76127 Captain Marvel and the Skrull Attack, opened everything Wednesday night to get rid of the packaging with garbage/recycling pickup Thursday, but haven't done much with the pile of parts yet. This also happens with stuff I'm parting out on BrickLink.
    I'm building in my TV room like usual, apropos that I'm building this while catching up on Star Trek Voyager, also known for its strong female lead.

    ^ I cracked mine open today. Done the ground floor (bags 1) already. Surprised to have something as large as a 2x2x1 brick in dark tan as a spare.

    That is not good, and means that something of a similar size is probably missing. They weigh each box very carefully before sending it out to make sure nothing is missing, and for something that big to have made it through, it must have replaced something of a similar weight.

    An easy question to answer today, tomorrow and probably for the rest of the week: #21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay!
    I was planning to do one bag per day with my daughters, but I don;t think we'll be able to be that disciplined!

    There's nothing missing in the set of bags I was building with and I've finished the stage. Hopefully nothing missing in bag sets 2 and 3. Definitely no misbuild on my part - I checked.

    Currently working on the Brick Bank. about 2/3 of the way through the #3 bags. man, this thing has a LOT of bricks.....

    The other half bought a 'bargain' £100 worth of Friends lego for our youngest for Christmas. She is 5 and now firmly into lego whereas the almost 10 year old lad appears to have lost all interest. 
    Anyway MOST frustrating set of builds ever. 15 sets, all bagged with instructions. Great you think. Until you realise these were bagged up by someone who has zero interest in lego or any eye for detail. Every 3rd piece is wrong and half the minifigures have no heads. 
    5 year old got very fed up quickly so am trying to sort a set a night, take it apart and let her rebuild the next day

    Am continually rummaging through all my spares to try and make good and have realised that a huge storage box of spare pieces wasnt the best plan

    Need better storage desperately, need to organise my lego life

    New lego room is taking shape though

    Been back at work on my first large MOC ... had to niggle around in my head fro a while how I was gonna do the second floor access and such as it's got stairs up one side to a balcony access. Got that far and the walls but nothing and no one has moved into that second floor apartment yet. Of course that might be because there is no roof on it!

    Assembly Square arrived for me yesterday, already bags one, two and three complete, enjoyable build so far. Hoping to complete it tomorrow as Pirates of Barracuda Bay arrived today :-D

    I thought those first minifigures were awesome because you could fit them inside things. Then the poseable minifigures blew my mind!

    ^ Sorry, I already dismantled them to make room for Castle 1997 Fright Knights! The smaller sets are built, and I'm starting #6087 Witch's Magic Manor now.

    ...I forgot about the Disney Castle... I think #6097 beats any other Castle-theme castle, anyway. It's 45 1/3 bricks to the top of the tower.

    Got back to work on my very own first sizeable MOC. Not much compared to what a bunch of you all can do. Anyway, got the access figured out and built for the second floor with the stairs and balcony leading to a sliding door into the upstairs apartment. Since it is for the owner to live in the kitchen is minimal with just two burner stove, small countertop and small overhead frig which actually looks more like a microwave! The bathroom does have a toilet and sink although they don;t show in the photo. I like the shower curtain/wall though. I think the bed is too big and may redo it smaller so I can put in a dresser or a nightstand at least. Now I have to do a roof and some tweaking I guess. At least I got the hydrant done for that boy on the bench's poor little puppy. There's a back garden to be done for the restaurant and the skeleton needs to pick his suitcase back up at the bus stop!

    Thoughts? Questions? Suggestions? Criticisms?

    I like how you did the bookshelf! I have seen ingots used for books before, but not the technic pieces. Ingenious!

    Wish I could take the credit for that idea. Saw it online ... Tiago Catarino I think was the one who did one similar. Mine is a bit different mostly because of what parts I did and did not have. He has a bunch of videos on YouTube.

    Came up with that one all by myself! The showers I saw all needed something but total walls closed them in terribly and clear pieces left them so exposed. I finally thought of putting color bits in clear tall bricks and it adds color and defines the shower so well!

    Finally got to #6274 Caribbean Clipper tonight! It's actually much more substantial than I remembered it being. 

    Will try to get pics of the assembled sets tomorrow. Boy, this has been an absolute joy of a nostalgia trip though for me!

    The individual sets. The only thing I'm technically missing to have all three 100% complete is that I need a second Governor Broadside minifigure (the one with the yellow plume) for the Caribbean Clipper.
